The home was amazing for 13 people and very clean! It had everything we needed, such as comfortable beds, towels, kitchen items, and outdoor games. The geographical location was really great as it was only 17 minute drive to Santa Rosa but was closely located to many vineyards and the downtown area. Check-in was simple and the binder all the necessary details about the home. Thank you for this amazing home.

We are a completely remote company who brings our leadership team together every quarter for a planning offsite! The home was a perfect size for our team and had lots of meeting spaces. We loved the deck for morning sunrise yoga and had a great time unwinding in the hot tub during the evenings😍. Also that walking/biking trail down the road was so beautiful.

This property is excellent for a larger group. There is plenty of room and it is layed out very well. The outdoor space is gorgeous. There are plenty of activities at the house and in the surrounding area. The host was very easy to communicate with and the rules of the house/ check out process was very easy. I cannot recommend this house enough. I had a large group for a week and it was so relaxing and easy.

The property is large with a spacious yard amazing hot tub & location Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives The check in was unsettling as it required I text my license to the owner Upon arrival I was told to read the rule book. My group would have never had any issues with the rules but are not disclosed ahead of time. Rules included, $20 per cigarette found, quiet after 10, noise complaint you will be kicked out no refund, no amplified music outside at any time, if any leaves are in the hot tub you will be charged $185, charged $175 if cornhole is left outside The 2nd night I got a text from him stating he was going put covers over plants bc of the temp which would be no problem. However in a house of all 30+ yo girls it was very uncomfortable having a man walking around at night on the property. The girls left the spa for obvious reasons It was clear the visit was to count people & check noise. When outside he commented on indoor decorations which was clear he was watching us inside The next day I got a text stating he counted 10 cars & questioned how many people were there He sent another text re: decorations/cleaning/rules He returned to the house the next day & spent the majority of his time staring at us/inside Our final day he text me again about the rule book. I booked a house for a large amount of $ to have the property to ourselves. Instead we were micromanaged, uncomfortable, & not able to relax for even 1 full day.

My group of 18 friends enjoyed our weekend. The VRBO was as advertised and we had a smooth and comfortable stay.

Very comfortable home for a large group. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. beds were very comfortable. The downstairs rooms (2nd living area and 2 BRs) don't get as much heat in cold weather, but we lived primarily on the main floor, and just slept under the heavy quilts downstairs. Some of the plumbing fixtures are showing a bit of age, but most everything worked fine. We had a blast playing cornhole during cocktails every afternoon!

My wife’s father passed away unexpectedly and our family decided to have a celebration of life at George’s house in Sebastopol. We wanted to check in a few hours earlier than the 5pm check in time (extremely late compared to many other vrbos I’ve booked) and asked the owner if we could. He stated we could but we would be charged an hourly rate to do so. For a weekend stay this place is already quite expensive so being charged another 10% on that to check in at a reasonable hour felt like getting nickel and dimed. The fee is annoying but if it was delivered with empathy I’d accept it but instead I was told we were lucky to even have had the opportunity to stay at his home in the first place. There was no compassion for our loss, no kind words or even condolences and this was the last thing I wanted to think about given how grief-stricken everyone was. One of the party did leave something and the owner was kind enough to get it back to us so that was helpful and saved him a star. Overall, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The property was the perfect place for family to gather during the week prior to a vineyard wedding! The home was spacious and clean with plenty of room for everyone to unwind and get ready. Breakfast on the deck with amazing views and a hot tub to relax at night made our stay magical!

What a magical property! The grounds are absolutely stunning with lots of fun activities. My friends spent hours playing frisbee golf, corn hole, and board games under the trees. You'll likely get to meet the neighborhood dog, Zeus who comes to visit and is very friendly. I absolutely recommend this property.

We had a great stay at Lone Palm. House had everything we needed and the light switches were labeled for our convenience. Spaces inside and outside the house were great for catching up and drinking wine. Beds were comfy and plentiful.

This house has a peaceful rural and secluded feel but stuff like grocery store and other amenities are still only a couple blocks away. Hot tub is surprisingly large! Hammock was used for plenty of mid-day naps amongst our group. House cools off quite nicely at night, especially the downstairs bunk area.

We had a wonderful stay! George was very accommodating for us and it was the perfect house for a family gathering. The house was stocked with anything we could need, and had a ton of games for the kids. Definitely would come back!

Stay was easy and convenient! George gave detailed directions on how to find the house and it was very clean when we got there! He was very communicative throughout the trip and also responded to any questions I had quickly. Would definitely recommend!

The house and property are nice (as listed) with excellent access to town, wineries, coffee, and food. Everything is designed for large groups and particularly for families. The adults were very comfortable and the kids could still play and enjoy themselves without concern of breaking valuables. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The property grounds were very nice, but the house could have been cleaner. Needed to reach out to the owner for arrivals instructions and bummed that everything wasn't in working condition. Otherwise it was good.

I would stay here again for sure. House was clean and huge. George was very friendly and responsive. Lot's to do at the house and in the area.

Bridal Party House - We rented the house so that our Daughter's Bridal Party would have a home close to the venue. The home worked out so well. Everyone was able to come together and hang out or if you were looking for a little bit of quiet time you could find a spot outside or in a quiet corner of the house. The architecture of the the home was beautiful, yet so comfortable.

My friends and I went here for a bachelorette party and had an amazing time. So much space in the house as well as the yard for activities. We enjoyed the large hot tub and the views from the deck were incredible. Would highly recommend!

This property is great for large families. The easy access to adorable downtown Sebastopol and The Barlow made this the perfect getaway for our extended family. The layout of the house and grounds provides plenty of privacy as well as communal living opportunities. The house is well stocked with all the amenities. The bikes do need some cleaning and maintenance but downtown is walkable and we walked every day. George was responsive and answered questions quickly throughout our stay.

Our stay at The Lone Palm was pretty much exactly what we wanted. The house was clean when we arrived with detailed instructions and labels to help us navigate the house. George was very responsive and accommodating. There were so many fun games and activities provided that we decided not to leave, except for a few hours at the river (tubes are floaties were provided as well!). I'd definitely stay again.

Overall, our family was very satisfied with the vacation trip. The location of the house was superb. It was very close to food and had easy access to grocery stores for supplies. It was also very accessible to local points of interest and to downtown areas. The house is situated in a very remote and quiet location and the neighbors were extremely friendly. The main area of improvement I can suggest would be the upkeep, management and cleanliness of the house. When my family arrived there, we noticed that the kitchen was not cleaned well. When we wiped the countertops, our towels still came away oily and brown. The dishes had to be re-washed because they still had food stains on them from previous guests. There were only a few toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls left so we ran out within the first day. We had to go buy more paper towels and toilet paper ourselves. The water filter dispenser in the fridge was also broken so we had to purchase our own bottled water as well. Last but not least, all of the garbage bins were full so we had nowhere to leave our own garbage for the stay. We had to end up stacking bags of garbage outside of our door or in the backyard during our trip. In summary, I think the house is great and the location is fantastic. We just wished the upkeep of the house was alot better as that would have improved the overall experience by alot.

As all the other reviews state this really is a perfect spot for a large group. Everything is set up for it, tons of activities (both indoor and out), beds are readily available, and there's plenty of space for your group to break up and hang out doing different things. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and utensils and there were a bunch of condiments available. George was always very fast to respond and set us up for a great weekend. We would definitely consider staying here again. Be aware, the house does have neighbors, and while the property is huge sound does carry. We had a very nice neighbor stop by while we were arriving to give us a heads up. No issues at all if you're all responsible and can move the fun inside at night.

We had an amazing time at George's place! It's huge and thoughtfully designed for a large group. We had so much fun during the day playing corn hole, disc golf, and more. The location is awesome, nice and close to the Barlow while feeling totally removed. George was excellent and communicating, and check-in was a breeze. I've stayed in a few Airbnbs across Sonoma county, and this was the best by a mile. Hope to return some time in the future!
