Great place to call home! Clean and great beach toys! Location is the best we love the north shore!

4 of us stayed at the property and it was perfect for us. Location is great, price was great and we didn't feel like spending an enormous amount to stay in a place we weren't going to be in. The property was clean, easily accessible, and great if you love watching birds. Kauai has chickens all over the property and the Nene's (Geese) are not shy in saying hi. Only complaints would be that the dryer isn't the best, and hot tub was broken during our stay but was being repaired as we left. Other than that the owners provide beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, and loads of other things which are perfect for Kauai. There is tons of golf courses, and food spots near by, so if you are looking for a Kauai adventure and want to spend most of your money on activities this place is amazing. The owners are very responsive, and it was an absolute pleasure staying here.

Awesome views, clean, quiet. A wonderful place to vacation

Condo was very clean and just like the pictures. Very relaxing on the north side of the island. We had the windows open night and day letting the nice ocean breeze come through. The kitchen didnt have a lot of spices but we left some for the next guest. 🙂🙂🙂 Kitchen was well equipped I really like that they had tubberware most places dont have tubberware. Lots of chickens! Had an amazing chill time here. Thank you

Condo is lovely. Lots of amenities for guests. Would definitely stay again. Very clean, exactly like photos in posting. Very short walk to pool and hot tub, which was a bonus. Very quiet location.

This rental was excellent. The location, the beautiful garden views, the closeness to the pool, etc. Wonderful. The rental had everything we needed. The beach closet with toys/etc was excellent. All in all, we had a wonderful time. Just a few insights that will help future renters. We had a young family staying above us (2nd floor) and it was noisy at times. Sound travels from top floor to bottom floor. Just for awareness. Additionally, the Master bedroom windows look out to the parking lot. Not the best blinds in the room, so lights from the parking area will light up the master bedroom a little a night (it is not a dark room). These are just insights, but does not influence our overall ranking and review. Excellent and we would return.

We were very happy with this property. It was in a very quiet location with easy parking and a heated pool and hot tub. The condo was very well outfitted with plenty of towels, plenty of kitchen supplies (including spices and condiments), and a closet full of beach accessories. The condo is a bit dated (didn’t bother us)but has everything you could possibly require. Being on the ground floor, we could hear the heavy walkers from above us. You will not need an alarm - the roosters will wake you up!

Good impression. Listing should state “distant” ocean view. But very nice to see. Can easily walk a couple of blocks and see the wide expanse of the ocean. That was excellent!! One has to put up with the chickens here. We could sit on the patio for only short periods of time..It’s much better to stay on the north shore. The south is busier with traffic and people. All in all, a great vacation on this beautiful island!!!

My husband and I stayed here with another couple and enjoyed the amenities. The pocket door was nice to create privacy with 2 ensuite bathrooms. The washer and dryer were utilized and worked well. The entire condo was very clean. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with anything we were in need of, utensil-wise! Towels were well-stocked and wi-fi worked well. We were comfortable with fans and blankets provided. Did not use any TVs (who watches TV in Hawaii?!), but did love the pool and hot tub in the evenings. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

My family enjoyed our time at this condo. It was easy to access with the keypad entry. The condo was well stocked with cookware, cooking appliances, beach toys, etc. The Living area is large and has access out the the back grass where our daughter could run around. The showers were quite nice, and the pool and hot tub were comfortable. Thanks!

This place was great! It’s in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood in Princeville, not too far from Hanalei Bay. The place was spacious and clean. The only issue we had was the washer didn’t seem to work. I contacted Terry and he responded immediately. Unfortunately because it was Christmas, no repair person could come out but we were fine. As noted by other reviewers, there is no A/C, so temperature regulation can be a little tricky. The weather was temperate, so it wasn’t a big deal for us.

We really enjoyed all the play things for beach days and the access to some beautiful walking paths. We had a great stay.

Neither tv worked when we arrived. We went out and purchased batteries and were able to get one working. The repair man came and said the other tv needed to be replaced and said he would return in a day or two but we didn’t hear back. Otherwise nicely equipped.

This is a very well equipped small two bedroom condo in Princeville. Plenty of towels Kitchen fully stocked for cooking meals. Lots of condiments and spices which is a plus. We also left extra items that we did not finish. The house also comes with beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas. Parking is right out front. The kitchen has also been recently updated as well as the two very very small bathrooms. If I were the owner I would finish the remodel. New big flatscreen TV, get the TV in the master bedroom working. Get rid of the carpet in the bedrooms. New coffee maker! The coffee tasted terrible even with the best ground beans. Overall is it relatively comfortable although there is no air conditioning… not that mandatory but might be nice sometimes if you are not used to sleeping with all the windows open. There is a nice pool area just about 50 yards from the front door. And it also has a small pool for kids and a hot tub but it was not hot. Lastly there were very nice barbecues for anyone to use. Great location to take a walk or go to Anini Besch only 10 minutes away. Hanalei is also a short 10 minute drive. Good location.

The location of the property was perfect. I loved that the patio looked out over foliage and not a parking lot, yet we were very close to the pool. It was quiet and peaceful sitting on the patio, aside from the roosters, haha! We did enjoy the chickens visiting. I loved being able to see the ocean in the distance, even in the shower! We were within 15 minutes of Hanalei Bay and Anini Beach, and within 2 miles of a grocery store.

It was very quiet enjoyable place

The owners couldn’t tell us if they had a rice cooker and what kind of coffee maker they had (if they had one). So we brought our own. Turns out that they had a rice cooker, but it didn’t work. We couldn’t tell if the coffee maker worked , because we used our keurig. We were here to meet up with the rest of our family. Didn’t realize how far we were from them. All in all it was an okay stay. Thank you for the use of the beach chairs and umbrella! Love Kaua’i and we will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying at this property . It has everything you need . Also the pool and jacuzzi are awesome.

We had the best stay at this Princeville condo. Very well supplied and with nice upgraded furniture as well. Beautiful location overlooking the common area and a peek a boo view of the ocean in the distance. Gorgeous grounds and landscaping. Super hot tub and pool. Well stocked beach gear closet too! Easy parking. If you love Princeville, the Ali'i Kai condos are fabulous, especially this one!

The location of the property is great. Very nice quiet neighborhood close by to a lot of attractions without all the noise. The condo could use a deep cleaning, the carpets especially (or just get rid of the carpet all together). The back patio seemed more inviting in the pictures than what it actually turned out to be in person - it was very hot and little space. That being said, the condo worked out fine for the time we spent in it. We were out doing hikes and site seeing most of the time. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and relaxing after a long day of hiking. All in all, it was a nice place.

Gorgeous and spacious condo with a killer view. Such a treat to see the wildlife that would sometimes come to the sliding doors. Great location that was close to shops and restaurants. We had an awesome stay in Princeville and can’t wait to visit again.

After spending a lovely week on the south shore, we came up to Princeville for a second week on Kauai. We were blown away by the beauty of the condo. It looks just like the photos. It is clean and well stocked. The kitchen has everything you need. It was convenient to have beach chairs, snorkel gear, and even a cooler available to use. The pool and BBQ area is steps from your door. The property has fruit trees that guests can help themselves to as well. The location is convenient to get to the Na Pali coast or to Lihue and everyplace in between. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This condo suited our family of four's needs and then some. It was clean, comfortable, great location, and beautiful views from the patio. I loved the full, functional kitchen with everything I needed to cook. The pool was cool and refreshing, and the hot tub was great for soaking after a hike. I also loved the convenience of the washer and dryer being in the condo as well. There was also a "fun" closet with pool floats, chairs, snorkels, and boogie boards. The host communicated promptly and answered my questions when needed. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to come back!

My husband and I and his sister and her husband stayed at the condo. It was perfect for 4 people. We could all have privacy if we wanted. The patio and furniture were nice to watch the rain or sunset and get fresh air. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and baths were well-stocked. Terry was easy to contact and communicate with. It was a comfortable place to stay and convenient to restaurants, shopping and golfing.

Perfect for our family vacation. Pool area is really nice with BBQ and was never crowded. We loved having the lanei and beautiful gulch area to enjoy. Awesome beach amenities. We would very much stay again.

The property was just a described and an absolute great place! From morning runs near the golf course, steps away from the pool/BBQs, our morning visitors (roosters, chickens and NeNe) it was an absolutely delightful vacation. Ideal location if you want to stay along the North shore! We had a wonderful 20 year anniversary trip. Would definitely stay again.
