Our stay was a less than optimal situation. Our original selection was cancelled just a few weeks before our stay and this house was offered as an alternative with no discount. We lost a few amenities but gained a full bathroom however upon arriving we found the overly shaggy old carpet to be slightly damp, and an old wet smell of mildew in the house. The beds were the most uncomfortable sleeping experience we have had which seems like a common complaint. The bunk bed loudly squeaks with every small movement keeping little ones awake. The intake above the stove has sticky greasy cobwebs and we could not figure out how to turn on while using gas cooktop. The back patio door lock needs to be fixed or replaced, it was difficult to get locked correctly. Also FYI the house is 2 streets away from a water treatment facility and often smells of sewage. Leaving windows open for fresh air wasn’t really a choice unless we were willing to smell the scent of sewage. The entry code for the door keypad is 10 digits long, the door code must be entered quickly or it will error and you must start again. If you get it wrong you must wait a bit before trying again. I don’t know if there’s a problem with people breaking in but a 10 digit code in quick succession seems excessive. We found it easiest if one person read the code while the other quickly enters it. The hot tub was great and super clean. The deck space was wonderful but we didn’t spend much time outside due to the smell. We did reach out to Vacasa about the squeaky bed, wet floors, and asking about the cause of the smell and heard nothing back.

The house was amazing in so many ways. There are a few things that may be of concern. The hot water was HOT so little ones need to be made aware before they get burned. My family said the beds were hard and uncomfortable but I really loved the bed and I used the upstairs bedroom. The balcony from the room was pretty good and it helped add a little cool air to the room. I wished there was a screen door to the main sliding glass door to keep the flys out of the house when we ate outside. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub so no reviews there. The water pressure in the showers was really weak. Possibly use smaller shower heads. Internet was great and we had no problems watching shows when we were not out.

I loved how close we were to the beach. It made everything wonderful!

They don’t provide garbage bags. Which is fine. Just let me know that so I can be prepared before the garbage is full and needs to be taken out. The fireplace downstairs did NOT work and our elderly, both ill, mothers froze most of the time. It’s not hot at Seaside. I finally heard back from management. They wanted me to look around for a false door that hide an on/ off switch or something to turn on. First of all, that should have been checked before we got there. Second that’s not my job. Third, I never did get it to work and management never got back to me. Luckily my lol can still walk up and down stairs so we moved her to the room upstairs. Which had the bath tub with jets. She went to take a bath one night and once the tub started filling, spiders started crawling out of the jet holes. She was so scared and creeped out she wanted to go to a hotel room. Took all we had to convince her to stay. The kitchen was missing every day items you will need for normal every day cooking. It definitely is a bachelor pad. On the surface the cleanliness looked good. The more you looked and got around it wasn’t very clean. It’s clear that they only vacuum the high traffic areas. And IDk the last it had been rented but there were con webs in the shower. There are so many other places to rent we will try one of them. It could be haunted. I had terrible dreams. And usually means it is haunted. Also the beds certainly did not seem like queens.

It was far enough from the strip so it felt more relaxing not having so many people, yet walkable to the the strip.

Our overall experience was great but there are a few issues that need to be addressed. One, the bed in the upstairs bedroom needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable, hard and lumpy.Next we did have an issue with the refrigerator it was not cooling properly. We did call Vacasa to get it a replacement. Their customer service was amazing! Last thing the house needs a good dental cleaning, there was still a lot of cobwebs here and there. The patio needs to be repaired is some areas, the bathroom down stairs needs to be updated. The bath/shower area was creaking when you stepped in and the safety bar was not present.

House has a great location & wonderful layout for a family. Unfortunately it was not clean upon arrival. The guest before us had smoke so the whole house smelled. There was dishes in the dishwasher & laundry not dryer & those are just a few things that were not done or clean. Got a hold of the property manager & he was very easy to work with & apologetic. He issues a cleaning refund. But I will think twice before staying at this house again.
