The location is AMAZING. In general the house was not bad and the main floor is beautiful and spacious.
We had a few issues that were just frustrating.
Parking: A few days before our stay we were notified that there is a parking limitation, 3 card only in the garage and blocking it - no street parking allowed. We were asked to provide car license plates and make to ensure we follow rules.
In reality, the access to the garage required serious maneuvering. One car was trapped in the garage. The other two cars were parked and barely fit between the garage and the house in a very tight spot. Getting in and out of the driveway was ridiculously tight.
Downstairs bedroom: The first floor was great! the bedroom downstairs has a twin bed that was so creaky we could not use it and a twin bunk bed. the room was barely wider than the beds. The top bunk was not made and it took 3 of us in the craped space to get a fitted sheet on it.
Upstairs: The bedrooms upstairs were tiny and the beds were small for the queen size posted on the amenities page.
Satellite TV: The remote was MIA - we contacted the management company on the first day and did not receive any response.
Fenced-in Yard: The posting indicated a Fenced-in Yard, while the front porch was great and had a railing around it, the closest thing to a yard was a foot wide strip on the side of the house which was open to both the front porch and the parking in the back.

My family enjoyed our stay here- 5 adults, 1 teenager, 1 pre-k, 2 dogs- all of us enjoyed this space! We visit Seaside frequently and usually stay in a hotel and I am so glad we went this route instead. The weather was rainy the whole weekend which changed our plans dramatically but the house felt like home with plenty of room for everyone to have their space. Parking is not for amateurs but we would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location! It was so nice to be able to bring our dog and so roomy! The house was decently clean for dog friendly. Only downfall was parking, do not try to bring anything bigger than a car, but, most parking on that side of town is difficult.

This is an excellent, comfortable home to stay in. Just a short walk to the beach, house has lots of kitchen items for cooking. Very comfortable and so much fun. The owner was so kind and personable.

Family get together
This was the perfect home for my family of 6 adults, 2 children and a fur baby. The large great room was perfect for our large group to spread out comfortably. For a house so close to the Oregon coast I would expect it to feel a little salty inside, this house was very clean. Everything felt fresh from the towels to the carpet. We were all very pleased!! Our walk to town via the promenade was lovely and never too long, even with the small ones. I’m not sure we could have been any closer to the beach, access was primo! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was just the loveliest person! We had the most wonderful time and will definitely return!

Great location and well stocked home
This was our second year here, the house is lovely and a great location. The property manager has a new system and we have issues getting some of the communication but Jim the owner who lives next door was so kind and let us in and called the property manager. Two things I would suggest: replace the mattress on the room at end of hall to the left. My kids had the other rooms and my husband and I took this but I could not sleep as this was so firm, actually HARD. So I slept on the couch downstairs which is very comfy. My daughter found a bug in her room and when I tried to kill it found dust bunnies on the headboard and all around the bed so a better housecleaning would be recommended but other than that I would totally recommend this home.

Stayed for 4 nights. Jim the Owner lives quietly over the large garage - a True Gentleman and nicest guy you'll ever meet. Location is Awesome - had everything we needed as family!

shock! felt like back in Japan...tight to no Parkin, no garage opener , no room for the three cars, no on street parking! Quaintly rambled home with lots of room (except for cars) faucets backwards, small bedrooms, only queen beds, moldy bathrooms, garbage cans take up parking space . Excellent location to beach, friendly owner who lived above the garage. Oregon Beach Vacactions staff not helpful.

Very frustrating and disappointing. The response of the rental company was very upsetting when I called after I found the house in a very disorganized manner. Dust on every furniture, food on the bunk beds, dirty kitchen floors. There was no enough toilet paper in the bathroom and paper towel in the kitchen.

We had not been at the property for 24 hours and I received a voice mail from management company stating that I had not registered my vehicle and they had tried to reach me earlier. Also that a car was parked in front of the house that was not registered and was threatening that it could be towed. The voice mail also stated that I was not to have more than 9 people staying in our rental house "for my information". We only had 4 Adults and twin children with us. When I had to leave our lunch and run back to the house to see what she was talking about, I called rental company back. The girl that answered said she did not know who called as she had no record of it. I have the voice mail still and it came from the rental company phone number. It was very stressful as we had just encountered a death in the family and these people had me running around crazedly. We ended up being paranoid the rest our our stay. One of our guest left early after listening to the message! haha. I won't rent from this company again. That was a lot of money to be treated like we were being watched and doing something wrong. Still amazing that no one knows who called me.

Fantastic Owner
The owner of the home is one of the most delightful people I've ever met. He's friendly, gracious and amazingly inviting. The house is great for everything - beach, shops, hanging out, etc. We'll be back!

Overall, good experience. Being able to see the sunset from living room was a nice surprise. A bit out-dated, really needs the basics in kitchen. Not enough stuff to make me stay again. Pots, pans etc.... parking was not good. Owner lives above the garage, so it was odd... lot's of room, great "sand" room, perfect distance to beach.

No response from property manager
This was a planned-at-the-last minute trip that didn't happen. Snow hit Portland and the coastal ranges and we didn't feel safe making the drive. I contacted the property managers through VRBO's site 48 hours before check-in and never got any type of response. I never returned any of their required paperwork, never checked-in, but keep getting requests to review our stay. Can't say anything about the property itself as we never saw it, but do plan on avoiding any properties listed by Oregan Beach Vacations. I understand the rental fee is none refundable but really do feel the dog and cleaning fee should be refunded as we never set foot in the house.

Family fun
Fun location, just two houses from the Prom. Parking is extremely tight, bigger cars beware. Great open floor plan with lots of room for activities. Lots of dishes, almost too many, no space to store your own food. Had to keep everything on the counter.

Great location
positives: quick walk to beach/promenade/downtown seaside, view of the ocean from living room and an upstairs bedroom, fit 3 couples and our dog comfortably, very large living/dining area for eating/games/hanging out.
Negatives: parking is tight but do-able-we fit 3 cars but the garage only fits one car because there are owner items taking up a third of it; the rooms are small but comfortable and most of the time we spent down by the (gas) fireplace which is outdated but we were glad to have for a winter visit; the upstairs shower didn’t get super hot but the downstairs shower does so we all just showered there; plan on buying or bringing paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags as there is a “starter” of each but with the size of the house most people will need much more than provided. The management is helpful and responded quickly when we couldn’t find the garage door opener (in a kitchen drawer). The house is a work in progress but we had a great time and would come back if we needed to house 6 people again!

Lovely Beach Getaway
Cute house located close to the beach. Comfortable and open downstairs living room and dining area, perfect for activities. We loved the large dining room table! Every room upstairs is about the same size. Rooms were neat and clean. It is an older house, so while it is charming, there are also a few quirks that come with the territory, like low pressure toilets, small water heater, and some uneven flooring. We also did end up having to clean the coffee pot, as there was some leftovers from the previous renters, and the shower curtains could use a run through the wash. But overall, our stay was quiet and relaxing, and we would rent again.

We rented this house for a family weekend. The floorplan is great for large groups, and we really appreciated being able to bring our dog. There were though some operational issues, however: the microwave didn't work (no power) at some of the kitchen/bathroom walls had large smears and debris so we just didn't touch those surfaces. The bathrooms also had slightly-used bar soap in them (no-no in COVID), so we just ignored those and used our own. The location is great, the neighbors (renters?) were nice, and the off-street parking was a plus.

Good but not great
There was plenty of space for our family which was great. However there are some things that were not as we hoped. We drove 24 hours straight with our 5 year old and then were not able to check in at the designated times because the house cleaner was just getting to the house. We were told it was due to the fires in Oregon and the rental property office having to be evacuated but they did not inform us nor did they do anything to make up for that. The mattresses in the kids bedroom are horrible and need to be replaced. The upstairs shower does not get hotter than lukewarm so we all showered downstairs. The location was great being just a couple houses away from the boardwalk.

Family friendly
Great location to walk the promenade to Broadway and all the sights. Three bedrooms upstairs and then the one bedroom with bunkbeds and twin downstairs by itself. Large open family area with dining table for all was great. We'd book again!
