Perfectly situated to enjoy much of Normandy, space was perfect for 2, with basic amenities and easy access to the food market, wonderful restaurants and a local laundry. We highly recommend!

I would definitely stay here again. Very clean and comfortable and convenient location. Also, the owner was patient and kind with our delayed arrival.

We were here for three nights.This place was immaculate. It was a great location, right in the center of shopping and restaurants and steps from our Omaha Beach pick-up point. There is a grocery store steps from the front door. In a stone building and facing a courtyard, it was quiet even though there was lots of activity outside on the street. We had taken the train from Paris and walked to the unit from the train station.

If you’re planning on visiting the Normandy, battle grounds, or Mont Saint Michel you couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The apartment is immaculate and such a cozy spot to stay. The showers have hot, hot, running water. The windows being opened up, bright and cheery, and the air conditioning works fabulously, owners hospitality was well noted and we will come back. Hopefully soon, the town of Bayeux is so fun. There’s so many places to eat and stroll. The tapestry and the cathedral are absolutely beautiful and the town is clean and friendly. thank you!!

Great studio right on the Main Street for restaurants in Bayeaux. Short walk to laundromat and the tour pick ups if you need. Car park is a short walk and studio has all that 2 people would need. Bed is comfy and large. Street noise is very minimal even given the location. Sally was readily contactable. We were very happy.

This apartment in a very old building was very updated and modern. The location was ideal in this beautiful medieval town. It was very clean,comfortable and quiet. We could walk to everything and a had a picnic in the enclosed stone courtyard. Highly recommend it. We had a private tour of Normandy that was excellent. Compared to other similar properties we were impressed by the attention to detail. We had everything we needed. The decor was attractive and comfortable. The property was very clean and the location central and yet very quiet. We hope to return.

Cute, updated apartment. Ground level. Quiet. Fully furnished. Very comfortable bed. Sally welcomed us as we arrived and introduced us to the apartment. And that was it. Wonderful and pleasant after the days’ travel from the hustle and bustle of Paris. (Note that we had no car and do not know about any parking situation.) The best part? Location! We found ourselves in the middle of the very quaint restaurant and shopping area of Bayeux. You might think, “Oh the noise and busyness.” No. This old Europe town was untouched by WWII. The street is a walking street. You are 3 minutes walk from most everything (restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, shops and tours). The abbey, park and tapestry are less than 10 minutes. All of that from where you enter the outer door from the street. A few steps later, you enter the apartment. Outside is not noisy anyway but then the apartment is completely quiet. Nice! Would definitely do again.

The studio is conveniently located to shops, restaurants and a full grocery store. Everything is within walking distance, including the tour pick up location. Like the other reviews state, the studio is very quiet, despite being on a busy street. You could probably even walk from the train station, Assuming you don’t have a lot of luggage.

The property and location far exceeded our needs and expectations. We would return again. Studio perfect for us and spacious. Town offers all amenities and close to D day activities as well. Rented a car so very accessible to all areas!

Bayeux is the coolest little village in France! I just loved it. This apartment is literally right in the center of town and easy access to everything. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable. Getting in tough with Susan was very simple and she was extremely helpful. If you want to go to the D-Day beaches and see the tapestry then you will love this place!

This was an amazing rental for the two of us. Close to the train station and very close to Place de Quebec and many restaurants. Also close to a grocery store. Apartment was clean and quiet. Communication with host was excellent. Highly recommend.

Sally’s place was so quaint and lovely. The perfect size for 2 people to stay for several days in Bayeux. It has everything you could possibly need. The best part is how central it is to everything in Bayeux … cathedral , Bayeux tapestry , grocery , shopping , restaurants , the Saturday market , excursion pick up … it cannot be beat! A special thanks to Sally and Michael for picking us up at the train station after a long day of travel. It made a difference in getting us started on our dream vacation with ease. This apartment is perfectly located for access to restaurants, shopping, tour bus pick up, taxis, museums, and the tourism office! Sally was always responsive when I had questions. The apartment is quiet and exceptionally well furnished. Highly recommend it if you’re going to visit Normandy, the Bayeux tapestry, Mont Saint Michel.

Ideal location for restaurants and shops. The grocery market was almost next door. The Studio was spacious with a kitchen that was perfectly stocked. The Host Sally was very easy to communicate with through VRBO. Unfortunately we were not able to meet her as she had car problems when we arrived and again when we departed. This small apartment is perfect for a short stay in Normandy. Situated behind thick stone walls off a charming street, it’s cozy & quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty courtyard and reflecting on the day. We did an Overlord tour, & the van picked up very close by. The apartment is insanely convenient to just about anything you need or want, including a tidy grocery & boutique chocolatier. We highly recommend this place for its location, cleanliness, & owners’ quick availability to answer questions.

I stayed at this lovely apartment for a few days in April and it was absolutely perfect! The location can't be beat... right in the center of town where you can walk to everything. There are many great restaurants and shops just a few steps away and a grocery store right next door. I also had no trouble parking the rental car after day trips around Normandy. Sally was great at communicating with me all the information we needed and was available to answer any questions that came up during my stay. The apartment was stocked with everything I needed, including pots and pans for cooking and a hairdryer. This was definitely one of the best vacation rentals I have ever had. Bayeux was a wonderful town to visit and this apartment cannot be beat.

The Room was a sudden bit of quiet on a busy day. Pots and Pans with plenty of cooking utensils were available. WiFi was solid when ever we were in the room checking emails. We did not use the TV but the big screen was mounted on the wall with a swivel so you could watch it from the bed. The Studio is less than 50 feet to one of the best restaurants in Bayeux. The grocery store was two doors to the left as you leave the building and the Laundromat was less than two blocks away. The Cathedral, the Famous Bayeux Tapestry, and the Museum of Art and History were about a five minute walk. The only problem was that we could not stay longer. We look forward to returning to our new home away from home.

This is honestly the best place for a couple to stay in Bayeaux. You are right downtown and close to everything while being in a quiet oasis away from all street noise. Owners were kind enough to pick us up from the train and show us to the property. It was clean and cute.
