Jean met us at the property, his communication was brilliant and super friendly providing lots of information about the local area

The kitchen is a little small and the double mattress was a bit hard but this didn't detract from our wonderful experience at this property

Close to old town, restaurants, market and shops. Kitchen is well stocked with spices for cooking. Laundry machine and drying rack. Very spacious because there are 2 bedrooms with only two of us.

The furniture is more for smaller people (low sofa and small chairs for my tall husband!). The toilet is very tight but understandable because it’s in a very old building.

Excellent location, very good size for mother and daughter travelling together or even more. I liked the separate toilet. The shower was hot. It was quiet even though very central. Kitchen small but perfectly equipped. The outlook over the river was sweet. Our welcome from our host was gracious and warm. We were very happy with our choice of apartment.

Wifi was a bit sketchy with a weak signal but I think that is Bayeux maybe not just this apartment. While there were two steep flights of stairs to walk up this meant that there was a lovely outlook.

The location downtown is ideal and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The parking situation was a little tough using the blue disc because you needed to move your car every once in a while. We ultimately found a much easier solution by parking our car a 3 min walk to the NE where the walking path intersects the 1st major street. We were always able to find a spot and didn't need to move the car. Bayeux served as a wonderful base to visit the nearby Normandy sites. Mont Saint Michel wasn't too far away but I would plan the entire day for that excursion. There is a Carefour City as well as numerous restaurants about 1 1/2 blocks from the apartment providing easy access to supplies and dining options. In addition, the waterwheel and a running/walking path are nearby. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and really enjoyed the stay.

The apartment is located close to a garbage and recycling dropoff location (see picture). Many times throughout the evening, the bins are being filled and they are all emptied at 4am on Friday. Not much the owner can do about this but visitors should be aware. Room with the toilet is very small. Not an issue for us but it might be difficult if you are a larger person (above 6' 2" or 210 pounds).

This place is a real gem. This two bedroom apartment was so comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room with a dining table. Lovely view out the window. Quiet street yet close to everything. Situated in perfect location in by you near restaurants, shopping and care for grocery. Walking distance to Cathedral, tapestry museum and other sites. On Saturdays there is a wonderful street market at Saint Patrice Square. I would definitely recommend this place if staying in Bayeux.

Warm, friendly and welcoming host. Shown around the apartment on arrival and offered advice re good restaurants and places to visit. Welcome pack in the property contained good information re nearby attractions. The gite was excellently positioned for easy walking access into Bayeux within minutes, was well proportioned in size and more importantly clean. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment such as coffee maker & percolator. WiFi was good, parking nearby at the head of the road was free and always got a space. Excellent restaurants only a short walk away. A little gem of a find, would most definately stay again, thank you Jean.

The shower could have been a little stronger in pressure (but only a very minor issue) and a softer mattress

The host was superb and the accommodations were clean and cozy.

Clean, comfortable and good location

Jean is an excellent host who made us feel at home in his wonderful apartment! Beautiful, comfortable accommodations in the picturesque town of Bayeux.

The common area hallways can be slightly dim at night, but this has nothing to do with the apartment itself.

Convenient location and comfortable rooms. Quiet location and friendly hosts.
