The house is adorable; clean & well-appointed with everything you will need. The location is fantastic-a short walk to beach as well as stores & restaurants. And the hosts, Dave & Beth, are two of the nicest, most helpful people you will meet. We loved our first stay and hope to be back!

From the arrival where we were warmly greeted by Beth and Dave to their hospitality throughout the stay I can't think of better hosts. The property itself was in a great location within short walking distance to both first and second beaches. We easily found a morning running route close by which was great! Inside the property was clean and spacious. It met all needs including a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer set-up. We so enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back soon.

Beth and Dave were extremely accommodating just the same as our first visit several years ago. The house was perfect add on for the second half of our beach crew. The house was very clean and in the absolute best location for 1st and 2nd beach. Would highly recommend staying with them and look forward to staying with them again.

My family and I stayed at Beth & Dave's property this summer, July 2019. The premises were extremely clean, stocked, and obviously well cared for. The property is a short walk to First Beach, which is beautiful and not overcrowded. If you want to enjoy the Newport area, you can get to the Cliff Walk by walking down the beach. A 10-minute drive will take you to downtown Newport. I cannot say enough about Beth & Dave, the owners. They were always available, kind, accommodating, and generous with their time toward us. They greeted us when we arrived to begin our vacation and gave us directions throughout our stay as to where to go in the Newport area. They clearly love the Newport area and want their guests to enjoy their time, too. My family and I have stayed at many properties over the past 10 years. None of them were as nice as what we experienced this summer at Beth & Dave's property.

We love staying at Surfers' Paradise. The cottage is immaculate, well air conditioned and easy to use. My kids can play in the yard and I don't have to worry about where they are. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to so many fun activities. But the best part of Surfers' Paradise is Beth and Dave. They are kind, thoughtful and straightforward. You might not get to know them during a stay, but if you do, they are a joy to have as friends. I hope we are able to return to see them every year for our vacation.

As a Naval war College student I can tell you that I felt safe and secured staying at 32 Ellery Avenue.... right next to the Beaches....

We had a great week at Surfer's paradise with our daughters and my parents. Great location made walking to the beach so easy. Our girls loved to ride their bikes on the blacktop and had fantastic fun playing hide and seek outside, playing ball and enjoying the large grassy lawn. Beth and Dave were kind, helpful and great hosts!

This cottage is super clean and so cute! The photos online do not do it justice, it’s even better in person!! Everything in walking distance, outdoor deck space in case of rain, and the owners are absolutely wonderful. We had an amazing first family vacation here and cannot wait to return again!

We had an amazing stay at Beth and Dave’s cottage. The location provides ideal acess to everything ie beach, resturants, cliff walk, shopping. Dave and Beth are amazing hosts. They are so eager to make sure you have a great vacation! We loved staying there and will definitely be back!!

Stumbled upon this cottage due to last-minute hotel availability--a blessing in disguise! Stayed here for two weeks while working at the Naval Base. Perfectly located with access to the beach(es), restaurants, and activities, it was better than any hotel could have offered in the area for the same seasonal price; so, my family came along too as there was plenty of space and beds. We enjoyed the morning walks near the water and afternoon bike rides. It even has a grill which made my stay all the more worthwhile. The owners are "WICKED" awesome, very accommodating and making sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was full of all extras needed to make us feel at home for the two week stay. The online pictures do this place no justice. Immaculately clean with WiFi, we hope to be back here again and would stay at the same cottage!

Second year staying in one of Beth and Dave's property, this year we moved over to the slightly larger unit with a loft since there were 5 of us. The cottage was as described and had everything we needed. Location is great walking distance to 1st beach and the cliff walk. We went 4th of July week this year and a lot more people than last year both at the beach and in town which makes parking anywhere tough. Great fireworks over the harbor and very festive everywhere. Would recommend staying at either of these cottages.

This was a return trip after a few years' away, and everything was as relaxed and enjoyable as it was before. This was an 'empty nester' trip so the smaller cottage was just right for us. Beth and Dave were their usual helpful and friendly selves. You feel at home for your stay, and not tourist stop. Best possible location too. 5 stars.

We have rented from Beth & Dave for two years and only have great things to say about them and their cottages. They are meticulous about keeping up their property right down to the little details. Their property is in a perfect location, close to 1st Beach and town which is great for our family as they like to run back and forth throughout the day! I highly recommend the area and this wonderful rental property!!!
