Great pool, plenty of room for our whole group. Lots of fun things to do for kids. Rick was great to work with, he answered any questions in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this place for a large family vacation.

Our family group of 17 stayed at the Amazing Lake House last week. It was truly AMAZING! Let's start with the neighborhood - very nice and inviting. The house sits right on the lake and has a huge salt water swimming pool that looks out onto the lake. Plenty of room on the surrounding patio for sunbathing. There's a hot tub, plenty of pool toys, a lower level kitchen and a beer fridge in the garage - a perfect set-up for outdoor partying. The house is very spacious - plenty of room to gather or chill out in a quiet space. There are two large verandas overlooking the pool and lake (sunsets were great!). We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed trips out on the lake. There's a nature preserve less than a mile from the house - perfect for a morning hike. Plenty of restaurants, food stores and shopping near the house as well. Finally, our interactions with Rick, the owner, were great - he's very responsive and looks to provide his renters with every possible amenity. Everyone in the family agreed that we need to return next year - I guess that says it all!

This house is loaded with everything one could possibly ask for. Plenty of room for a large group. Very well located on the lake. Well stocked kitchen and nicely decorated throughout.

The house was everything we expected and more. Location was ideal, while just minutes aways from Charlotte, the house was secluded in a nice neighborhood. Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the house and pool.

Our extended family stayed at this fabulous home for my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday weekend. It was perfect for our group. The setting is lovely, with a large backyard, patio and verandas overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and terrific game room with pool, ping pong and more. The house is really well-stocked with everything needed for a large group. Though there were 16 of us, we were able to spread out and everyone had their own rooms. The younger kids were thrilled to have their own space on the 4th floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a fantastic time weekend! Our group included 20 adults who were visiting NC for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Not only was the house gorgeous (as advertised!) but it was able to comfortably accommodate our entire group. We had an awesome BBQ in the backyard and enjoying some competitive pool volleyball- all with an incredible view across Lake Wylie. Everything we needed was within a 5-10 minute drive and we were also able to get to and from both the airport and downtown Charlotte seamlessly. Would highly recommend visiting the White Water Center for anyone interested in a fun adventure one of your trip! Lastly, Rick was incredibly responsive and welcoming. We stayed for the NCAA basketball tournament in Charlotte. House was perfect for young teens older teens and all Dads. Plenty of beds and plenty of room, basketball goal, fishing and great views from backyard and decks. Rick was very responsive via text! Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay, and Christmas, at the property. Rick and his family could not have been more accommodating and easy to work with. We can't wait to come back during the warmer months to enjoy the pool and lake!

A group of friends stayed in this beautiful spacious home for a long weekend for our annual Ladies Retreat. Rick and Karen are wonderful hosts. Communication was prompt and responsive. The home has everything needed to spend a day out on the water, an evening sitting by the firepit or in the hot tub, a rainy day in the gameroom, or an afternoon nap on one of the many porches. The kitchen is fully stocked. You only need to bring food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Charlotte, and are appreciative of the hospitality providing guests with everything needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Family from 5 states got together to celebrate our Uncle's 90th birthday! We looked for a place large enough with a sufficient number of bedrooms and baths and this property "fit the bill"! It is a beautiful home with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. All the stairs were a challenge for our guest of honor but the rest of us old folks managed! Rick was very gracious and accommodating, would recommend this home to others needing room for many people.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND THE PROPERTY WAS PERFECT. a FEW PLACES NEEDED TO BE CLEANED, AND THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS ON TOP OF IT TO SEND IN PROPER CREW TO CLEAN IT. OVERALL, WE HAD A BLAST.

The house is HUGE, and even better than the description. Plenty of room for our whole extended family, and plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. A great place - We hope to come back soon!

The house is huge, upon arrival, it was fairly clean. The first two stories were very cool, the 3rd and 4th levels were very warm 84’. I contacted the owner, he called someone who responded first thing the next morning, he said there was nothing he could do, it was the unit in the house. There were two portable units, one worked the other did not, so it stayed hot on the 3rd and 4th levels. We had a few other problems, but, the owners were very attentive, very fair with adjusting the price. This is a great house, the owners are very attentive. Know the 3rd and 4th levels will be very warm. The pool is great, had a great time on the jet ski. The boat was not running very well, it was taken for service. All in all (other than the 3rd and 4th level being 84’) we had a great time.

This house was perfect for our family! There were so many excellent areas we could gather together in whatever size group was coalescing at the moment. We loved the numerous amenities. The double oven was great for our big meals. There were lots of pots and pans and even a couple instapots! We brought 2 kayaks so we were able to take out a veritable flotilla with the included paddleboard, canoe and kayaks. There was every size of life vest for the members who didn’t bring their own. And so many outdoor options from pool volleyball to bocce to ladder golf... We spent many hours on the 2nd floor porch playing cards, board games, reading, sharing stories, eating homemade ice cream and sorbet (3 different batches), homemade bread (kitchen island was great), birthday cake and generally loving life. The kids adored the big pool and the game room. We hooked a laptop up to the TV in the living room and did family slideshows at night. We used the firepit the last night for smores, fireworks watching (across the river to the left and right of Papa Docs), and philosophical discussion. Rick was excellent to work with and it was a fantastic week! We made lots a great family memories. Thanks for sharing your house!

We really enjoyed our time this week! Everyone was able to relax comfortably, there was plenty of room. We loved all the games, the pool, and the access to kayaks. We had a wonderful time together as a family in this beautiful home. Thank you!

Amazing. Great time. Lots to do. Everything you need is there!

This is a great property and Rick is a great host. Plenty of room for a large group and ample living space on each floor. The kitchen is well equipped and all the bathrooms well stocked. Rick responded quickly to any questions we had. A nasty winter storm made the game room too cold to use, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun in warmer weather. All in all, a great stay.

Great place to gather with family ages 11 weeks to 58 years! The pool was great. The game room, fire pit, and pool were enjoyed by all! Outside deck area was great, though partially under construction. The double-wide and long driveway easily accommodated multiple cars. Having dinner on the deck while watching the fire pit burn down for s’mores was also a treat.

Rick and Karen are wonderful hosts and their lake house had everything we needed for a fantastic girls weekend! Their property sits right on Lake Wylie and offered plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. The beds were super comfortable and the house had everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back!!

We had an amazing time, the house was perfect for all 14 of us. Our kids and were in the pool non stop everyday, we rented the boat as well and it was awesome. We never had to leave the "resort" except to get groceries which was awesome and gave us great family time together! The kids also fished off the dock and caught tons of fish and the sunsets are amazing. Rick was awesome to work with always answering our request. I highly recommend this property and hope to come back to it soon!!! Thanks again Rick for everything!!!

The house had everything we needed. We loved the porches, pool, game room/garage and dock. We rented at the end of the season, and maybe that's why everything had suffered wear and tear compared with the online photos. We didn't mind, because we had kids of all ages and didn't have to be too fussy, and we were perfectly comfortable. All in all a great vacation.

This was a lovely property in a convenient location with other amenities close by. It was perfect for a multi-generational family with spacious areas to gather. We had a great time.

Our annual family trip was a success, in large part due to the offerings of this beautiful home. This spacious home provides enough room for our growing family. There are central places to congregate for family meals, game nights, and of course the pool deck, but also areas to slip away for quiet time or reading. There were plenty of water sports which were a hit with everyone, especially the kids - boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, soaking in the hot tub….and gorgeous verandas to take in all of the activity. The sunsets were amazing and the weather was great! Rick and Karen are exceptional hosts and very responsive with any questions we had. Overall a wonderful home/location to make for a fabulous vacation!

We enjoyed our stay. We have been doing family vacations for almost 20 years so as our family grows we have to look for bigger houses. This house was very comfortable and we enjoyed all the amenities. The location was beautiful and kids enjoyed the pool and boat very much.

My husband and I reside in NC and wanted to have a weekend with some friends and family somewhere that wasn’t our home. We booked Ricks property and from start to finish had an amazing time. The weather was perfect for enjoying the heated outdoor pool. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook and the game room was stocked with extra things for us to do in case we were to get bored. We all had a blast and everyone ( 15 ppl) had plenty of options for comfortable sleeping arrangements. I will definitely be doing this again someday soon

Beautiful home and property, perfect to host my husbands 50th birthday with family and friends. Plenty of comfortable rooms fir us all! Will definitely stay again!

Had a great time. Everyone enjoyed all the amenities provided in the house. Heated pool was good, since it got chilly in the evenings. Enjoyed boat rides on the lake. We played pool, ping-pong and other games in the garage. Overall, a fun place to hang out with friends and family.
