What a wonderful weekend! The Lakehouse was perfect for our stay. The views are beautiful and the house is gorgeous. Bob made the check-in process super easy and was very accommodating to meet our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and location. Pictures don’t do it justice. Very relaxing stay. Well equipped. Great location to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. Owner was very kind and check in was easy. Would definitely book this home again!!

Our first impression was “wow”, as the house was beautifully appointed with a plehora of architectural details and accessories. There are views galore, as the house has a perfect perch above a leg of Lake Wylie. Every detail was well thought out.

We had a great stay on Lake Wylie! The home is beautiful, even beyond the photos! Plenty of space and wonderful attention to details. We enjoyed the lake access, and Robert was a helpful and responsive host. 10/10 recommend.

The house was beautiful and we had a very nice welcome with the fire going outside the front door and nice touches on the inside with nuts, chocolate, and champagne. The owners were super friendly and honestly, we hated to leave.

The house was as advertised and the homeowners have done a wonderful job of renovations. Nice areas close by walking and good restaurants. We loved the ability to bring our dogs although they did have to learn to go down a spiral staircase which was a bit tricky. The one day we did use the dock area we noticed an unpleasant odor and the neighbor next door definitely was not welcoming to renters but beyond that we would stay here again!

We truly love this place very well organized w everything you need. Even has sauna in shower and beds we’re very comfortable . Beautiful home! If I could I would buy this home 😆. We love the firepit in front of home, the entire lhome was very well planned and layer out beautifully. The owners were very nice . We had an opportunity to have access to pontoon boat which was fun . I highly recommend this place. The best I’ve ever stayed at. Thank you so much ! We will definitely come back!

My family gathered at Lake Wylie for a family friends wedding. We enjoyed Charlotte and the lake. The home was in a perfect location near airport, close to Charlotte and the wedding venue. Each bedroom had an incredible view of the lake. The spacious kitchen provided an ideal spot to make the wedding cake.

This property was beautiful! So well designed. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Bob was always available for any questions we had. It was rainy when we were there, so not much time to enjoy the lake, but loved looking at it. Will absolutely return.

This is our third time staying at the Last Cove Lodge and we had another great weekend. The lodge is clean, well appointed, and has a lovely view of the lake. Communication with the host was excellent. We had fantastic weather and thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend.

We flew in from Alberta, Canada in order to attend our son's university graduation ceremony. We have two young teens and brought my 78 year old mother. The property has everything we needed to cook beautiful meals, watch the Oilers playoff games after dinner, and relax on the beautiful patio in front and deck off the kitchen. The large walking stone-stairs down to the front entrance and the narrow-steep stairs inside the house were only a slight challenge for my mother. I would not recommend this rental if mobility is an issue ... otherwise it is an absolute gem. A+ rating from our family. Bob (host) was super accessible and helpful all around. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

The entire experience was sublime. The property is beautiful. You feel like you are in a secluded mountain cabin on a lake but are only 20 minutes from downtown Charlotte. The upgraded amenities were a bonus. The soaking tub and steam shower rivaled any spa I have visited in Charleston. The decor is lovely and the house spacious. Bob was a wonderful host going as far to give us an extra parking spot since we had two oversized vehicles. We can’t wait to have another reason to stay!

The "Last Cove on the Left" lake house is amazing and Bob is the best property manager we've ever rented from! Outstanding views, beautifully decorated, spacious accommodations, and a fully stocked kitchen. This is our second stay here and we'll be back again next Spring. Don't miss out on this gem of a property.

The house was great. Very well decorated, beautiful views, excellent fireplace, and nice touches throughout. Owners also thoughtfully stocked the house for guests.I woould stay again but definitely not an option for people with poor mobility.

This place has Great Lake views, convenient to many places. Place has a little old feel but with some modernized upgrades. Stayed here a week and will definitely return during the summer days. Host was great to deal with!

We stayed between Christmas and New Year, while visiting relatives in nearby South Carolina. The home is just lovely. Beautiful views from every room. Inspirational kitchen and a great media/movie night room. Downtown Belmont is adorable, and the home is close to CLT. Bob was fantastic to work with.

Beautiful home with fantastic views and very kind host! We could not be happier with our stay. We rented Bob’s pontoon boat and had a blast taking it down to Papa Docs for lunch. The house was spotless and had so many cool features. We can’t wait to come back!

This property has it all; location, amenities, and the wow factor. Rob made everything for arrival perfect and was available to answer any questions. I took advantage of the boat rental option and had a perfect sunset cruise on the lake.Definitely a five star rental.

Communication with Bob was excellent and he was very accommodating. The house was beautiful and lived up to all the pictures and reviews. The house was close to shopping and restaurants. The days on the lake where fun and relaxing! Can’t wait to stay again! My only word of caution is all the stairs. If you can’t do stairs than this property isn’t for you.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is right on the lake with a beautiful dock, and big rocking chairs that you can sit and watch the sunset. Plus Robert Has floats, canoes and paddle boards to use.
Cabin is stunning and can sleep 8 people comfortably. Super cosy and three bathrooms - one that can turn into a steam room!!
Robert and his wife were beyond awesome. Always available, they live right next-door, and so helpful in making our stay an unforgettable experience.
We did a girls trip and was the best experience. Not walking distance to the town, but instacart and DoorDash deliver.

Our family of 7 had the best time at Last Cove Lodge! The cabin is absolutely stunning both inside and outside and very clean and comfortable. Every room has an amazing view of the lake, especially the kitchen and dining area! The kitchen is fully stocked, as are the bathrooms - the hosts haven't missed a thing. The porch swings with the fans are a special added touch and a great place for morning coffee, afternoon naps or reading and evening wine. We rented the boat and we highly recommend that - the lake is so calm, beautiful and fun to find a cove for floating. We also took a boat ride to dinner at Papa Docks and that was great. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. It is a place we would definitely stay again!

We have rented several VRBO locations but this one by far was the nicest. The host (Bob) is amazing, providing us with everything we could need. After allowing us to settle in, he came over and showed us how to use everything, from the outdoor grill to all of the lighting.
The house is tastefully decorated, a gourmet kitchen/appliances, soft bedding/pillows, all the linens you need, TVs in every room and a view to die for. We took the boat out 3 times during our stay and hung out on a sand bar floating the day away.
If we every decide to visit North Carolina again, we would most definitely pick the "Last Cove Lodge" again.

This rental house was amazing! The pics online do not do it justice. The ease of renting, the owner Bob was so kind and very accommodating. The place was so clean and inviting, plenty of room to roam around and a fully equipped kitchen with an outdoor grill, what more could you ask for. The amenities this house had to offer was just amazing. If we are in NC again we will definitely stay here again.
