The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Spent a lot of time on the back deck and front porch. Enjoyed seeing the elk from the front porch. Beds were comfortable and the location was close enough to visit Waynesville and Cherokee. Enjoyed all the quaint shops in Maggie Valley.

We have stayed in this cabin twice and hope to return often. It is very clean, comfortable, has everything you need, and in a really fun neighborhood. We love front porch coffee and morning walk around the neighborhood to get the day started. Maggie Valley is great base location for adventure. I am homesick for the place writing this review!!

We had a great time as always at this cabin. We have rented it multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed. The cabin is soooo cozy and relaxing. It is well equipped and very comfortable!

Stayed here for a long weekend to ski. Cabin has easy access off main highway. Well equipped, as pictured in the photos. Great communication. We didn't need anything but if we had, there would be no trouble getting in touch with the owner/host. Place was very clean. Easy check in and out.

Home had everything we needed. 2 rooms on the main floor and a smaller room on the second level for the kids to sleep. Neighborhood is nice community that you can walk around and sometimes see Elk. Everything was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

The house was great perfect location, beautifully decorated and had a lot of extra items if you forgot something.

Brought my parents up to see the Elk. They are in their mid 80’s and haven’t really traveled out since Covid started. Finally got them to go. We had a great time. The house was perfect for us four

The cabin exceeded our expectations and suited our needs perfectly! Myself, my husband and our two boys went to Maggie Valley bringing along my parents to enjoy fall leaves and maybe see some elk. We were not disappointed! The cabin was the cherry on top! There were elk in the pasture visible from the front porch of the cabin and the leaves changed during our stay making for a beautiful view from every angle of the cabin. It was the perfect location for us to stay! The beds were comfy, the cabin was cozy, decorated so nicely, and remarkably clean. The cabin is situated amongst other nice cabins all well maintained with manicured yards. The elk actually roamed between the cabins while we were there. It was a great vacation and I was so thankful I chose this cabin! It not only suited our needs perfectly but spoiled us as well!

My husband and I moved around NC for two weeks in Oct. We wanted a location that was easy to drive to and had a great view of mountains. This home was perfect! Comfortable king size bed in master, well equipped kitchen, nice porches front and back. Plenty of room for a family with kids. The only thing missing is a reasonable tv selection, the channels were seriously lacking. We had u tube tv in another small mountain town and more major networks were available with sports etc

House was perfect with an incredible mountain view. Neighborhood was lovely and well maintained. The house had absolutely everything we needed. Communication with the owner excellent. The house was spotlessly clean.

This beautiful cabin has all the comforts of home mixed with that wonderful mountain air and lovely views. We loved the location and the ability to walk out the door and take a rigorous walk around the neighborhood. We visited Talulah Gorge, Black Rock Mtn. And Water-rock Knob. Our favorite restaurants were J Arthur and Frankie’s. We had a glorious time and can’t wait to return!!

Beautiful property. Great area location. Quiet neighborhood. Very private. Everything you need, even spare batteries for smoke detectors. We are already planning our next visit.

The house was amazing as always and everything was within reach.The back deck is a great place to sit and relax and the beds are very comfortable. You feel right at home. The neighborhood is great too, nice and quite. You may also see some elk while there. I hope to be staying again in the near future. Jane D

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped with all you could ever need for your stay. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet. Had an opportunity to speak to the neighbors across the street. They were very friendly.The highlight of our stay was the huge bull elk and elk cows were able to see walking up the road to the cabin. We were able to sit on the front porch and watch the Maggie Valley fireworks without dealing with the traffic. Would recommend this place for future trips. The owner checked on us to make sure we were set. Great views and cozy cabin.

The openness of the home was good and also provided for privacy with upper bedroom/sitting area. Both decks, front and back were great. Front deck for morning sun and back deck for evening sitting. Very comfortable beds in all rooms. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything your own home would have. Areas were very clean but had a distinct stall smell when we arrived. After opening windows and doors for fresh area, the smell went away. The listing on VRBO seem to state a hot tub, but is really just a jetted tub in master bedroom. The pictures on VRBO present a very large home with big rooms, which was not the case. For example, the living room in pictures with open concept was presented as a very large open area. It was still good for the 6 women that stayed for 4 days.

Great place for the family visit to the ski resort. Place was cozy, welcoming, and clean. Great hosts. And we loved seeing the wild elk in the neighborhood!
