Overall, the room and hotel was ok. However, considering that we payed !! 380 USD !! for one night (during Carnaval), the price/performance ratio was the worst I have ever seen! The room was located directly at the entrance (101). We heard every word spoken at the reception. And the door bell was very loud. WiFi wasn't working properly in the room as the signal was too weak. Only cold water to shower Breakfast: one small plate (no buffet) It was a last minute booking during Carnaval. However, the exorbitant price justified and an impudence. I would not mention these issues if it wasn't for this fortune!

Very rude customer service. If you approach them with a legitimate issue they will not put in any effort to help you. All the care about is filling up the rooms and getting your money. Customer satisfaction is not a priority. The room I stayed in was nice, but the staff ruined my stay.

It was a nice small hotel with very nice staff.

I know there was an event going on but the price was too night for that particular type of small hotel and there wasn’t any hot water.

The room was nice and clean. We were booking last minute and were welcomed very friendly by the staff. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip. Lots of choices. We have to emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager of the hotel. He went above and beyond to make sure we get tickets to the Carnaval stage last minute. And when we couldn't find the entrance and returned to the hotel he took us with his staff to guide us to the right entrance. This was extraordinary service you don't get much these days. Sure, the room was overpriced during carnaval in comparison what you would pay normally (just like everywhere in Barranquilla), but still reasonable and the service and friendliness we received back for it where outstanding. The hotel even stored our luggage until after the parade at no extra charge. Thank you very much for making our Carnival experience a great memory of Colombia!!

Actually, the breakfast buffet here has good variety and ok quality, but they should make sure it's just as good at 9 as it is a 7; there's no reason to favor business travelers over leisure travelers. Nice beds. Nice A/C, great staff. The best thing about this place is the entire staff!

For the price I would expect better sound proofing, you can hear conversations all around from neighboring rooms to the front desk. If you don't speak Spanish then the nice flat screen tvs with cable just sit there and rub it in. They should have a streaming movie service where you can select language like Netflix. I paid about 88% less in cartagena for basically the same room except i had Netflix. Breakfast is 7-9. Should be 7-10. I had to set my alarm to wake up for breakfast and it was getting old and not fresh now. They should sell some snack out front, drinks, snacks. Or have a vending machine. This review is about the price, i gave 5 stars to the place in cartagena but it was closer to 10$/ night and here is 100$
