I highly recommend this lovely property in beautiful Kopavogur! The accommodations are wonderful, fully stocked kitchen, amazing sauna, and a wonderful host who came over to personally show us around. Beautiful and peaceful views. Easy access to Reykjavik, groceries and some restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

My family had the pleasure of staying here for a family vacation. The home is just stunning with beautiful views and an even better host. We looked forward to coming back to this home every single night after long days of hiking and sightseeing. When we return to Iceland, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else!

This was a 5 person multi-generation trip, my huband and me, our 10 yr son and grandparents. House is even nicer than the pictures look. Convenient to everything in Reykjavik but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Hot tub and sauna were great. Host/owner was incredible - repsonsive and very kind. Would highly recommend.

My son was best man to his childhood best friends wedding and we were all invited as a family to attend. We chose to stay at a Vrbo rental because there were five of us. What a great decision, staying at SFJ Villa was the right choice. We all had breakfast together each morning in the wonderful large kitchen which was very equipped for all your needs. The grocery store was right down the block and Reykjavík was only 12 min into town . The home was immaculate and had a lovely hot tub as well as a sauna which was so relaxing at the end of the day. The beds were very comfortable, and having two full bathrooms were a bonus. This villa has everything a hotel doesn’t have to make you feel comfortable. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Sigdur!!

Beautiful property with all the amenities that you could ask for. Bonus of seeing the Northern Lights from the hot tub. We would highly recommend this place for friends. Or families. Thank you for a wonderful week for our first trip to Iceland.

Our family of 5 (Kids ages 20, 18 and 15) Had the best time. The host honestly could not have been more responsive and helpful from initial booking to the time we checked out.. The property itself is a great and exactly as the pictures show. The property location is perfect, 10mins from downtown but far enough out to enjoy the Northern Lights!!! There is a few restaurants and bakeries in walking distance.

Location has every amenity and comfort of a 5 star hotel and all that you need to make an amazing stay in Iceland. Spectacular views, clean and comfortable. The host goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable. The host gave us a personal tour of the location and showed us how to use the private sauna and hot-tub and even came to tell us the northern lights could be seen one night! Highly recommend choosing this for your next stop in Reykjavik!

This property is very clean, in excellent condition and in a good neighborhood with convenient access to downtown, groceries and travel to other regions. The host was highly responsive to questions. I would recommend this property to others with up to five guests (possibly six if two are children and the owner has an extra mattress for the third bedroom). The hot tub was a nice feature and the views of the mountain from the front deck and living room were a delight.

We absolutely loved our stay here. My husband and I stayed with our 3 children and everything was perfect. The home is beautiful, spotless / clean, and so comfortable! The owner was so nice and helpful at check in, he takes much pride in his home. It’s really gorgeous. The neighborhood was lovely and beautiful view of the city from the living room. We loved the hot tub and sauna. And the country is just absolutely amazing. This was one of our best family trips and the comfort of this home contributed to that. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Property
Our family of 6 stayed at this property at the end of a 3 week vacation. The owner was very responsive and super nice and excellent to deal with. Upon arriving he welcomed us and showed us around the house. The house is amazing, spotless, nicely furnished and super comfortable. Though we were only her for 1 night before flying out we enjoyed all the amenities this property had to offer. If you are looking for a very nice and comfortable place to stay just outside the city don't pass up this place. A++++

Outstanding place to stay if you are in Iceland
Clean, convenient, with an amazing kitchen and amenities. Close to stores and easy to get to sites outside of town. Master bedroom is big and comfortable. The hot tub and sauna are easy to use. Owner gave a great introduction. Hope we can come back again.

Beautiful Apartment Near Reykjavik
This was such a cute apartment not far from downtown Reykjavik. It is an updated, modern home. The spa was such a cute and nice touch. The home was clean and comfortable. The host was gracious and accommodating. He welcomed us at the apartment and showed us around. Such a nice stay!

You’ll love the hot tub and the sauna. The location is amazing and the neighborhood is beautiful. I went for morning runs around the area and really enjoyed the scenery. The owner is so extremely friendly and accommodating. Honestly the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of good experiences so it says a lot! Amazing place
Of all the properties I have stayed in, this is the best one. The hot tub and sauna were super nice, the kitchen fully stocked and the beds were super comfortable. The location is great, neighborhood is quiet and everything is within reach. Do recommend and will stay again. A+++

Fantastic experience, will be my first stop next time I visit Iceland
The SJF Villa is as amazing as Iceland itself. The location and view are fantastic. The house is amazing, clean and well decorated and very comfortable beds. The private deck and sauna are an incredible benefit. The host obviously takes pride in this home and leaves no room for improvement. Bravo! I am eager to return with my family and stay here as soon as I can.
