This property is located on a lovely cove with quiet neighbors. The owner forgot to send the code to check in because "she didn't check her calendar" Thankfully, we found an unlocked door or we would have been waiting for a couple of hours after I contacted the owner. It was clean. It needs to be updated. The green carpet was stained, especially in the basement/lower lever and stairs. The towels are threadbare and had holes in them due to age. The futons in the main room would add to the number of people that can sleep there but are not at all comfortable for sitting. The kitchen is lacking; a single wine glass,no wine opener, very small microwave, the pots have the non-stick coating coming off. You need to run the humidifier constantly or it smells mildewy. There were no welcome or check-out instructions, any magazine or tourist information was 1-3 years old. We use VRBO 2-3x/yr but this is not a property I would rent again.

This lake house was perfect for a little family getaway. We brought our paddle boards, kayaks, fishing poles, and rented a floating mat and the kids loved every second. No steps to the dock was a plus with little kids and we caught lots of fish and loved the diving board. It’s a pretty quiet cove, not a lot of boat traffic. We wish there were a few more bathroom towels available to use, but overall it was a fantastic stay.

Our family enjoyed staying at this location. This quiet cove was great for swimming and fishing from the dock. Loved the Beach Decor throughout this house. When we had a couple of concerns, the host was quick to address them.

What an amazing place to stay. No stairs to water, close to bars and easy to accesses the main channel. Thank you for letting us stay. We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay in the cute little house. Swimming off the dock, sitting out on the dock after dark, and staying inside when needed to cool down. Check in and check out process was simple. Owners were very responsive to questions. Overall a great stay.

Would recommend attaching ladder a little better on right side of dock. It was a fun place to stay at. And glad the neighbors were friendly enough to let us have access to locked boat ramp when the owners did not respond to call until the second day of our stay

My family and I stayed for 20 days at this home. The property, home and location are great. The owner was very good in communicating and making sure our stay would be enjoyable. We all highly recommend this property. We traveled from NYS and would return !

Great location and friendly neighbors. Very good communication with owners when we had concerns. Not sure how long the owners have had the property but it could use some update. Would like to see updates in beds and furniture. I had trouble operating the lift for our boat but the owner was very helpful and we got it working. The lift could use some maintenance or a new one. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy cove not much boat traffic perfect place for a family

WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME! IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A FAMILY VACA SPOT, THIS IS IT. THE KIDS HAD SO MUCH FUN ON THE DIVING BOARD AND WE SPENT OUR ENTIRE DAY IN THE WATER. GREAT LOCATION!

Property is located in a quiet and relaxing cove, great for swimming and fishing. The layout of the property is a little quirky, master bath on main floor (no bedroom on main floor). Two bedrooms located in the lower level along with a full bath. And a loft area. Property is very enjoyable.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this 3 bdrm house. Large family room and great dining area that easily fit 8. No stairs to dock and great place for swimming! Close to stores and restaurants! Pretty perfect! The bathroom towels and kitchen utensils could use a refresh, but other than that we had a great stay:)

The property was in a great location. Close to grocery shops and restaurants. It was very clean and well maintained. Kristi was very easy to communicate with. Best part was no steps to the dock. This made it very easy for our kids to access.

Great property and the owners were very responsive, just make sure to bring extra paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We ran of these things almost immediately, but overall was a great experience. I would totally recommend this location to anyone who wants a great weekend on the lake.

Spacious living/dining & kitchen area - cutely decorated & worked perfectly for our stay -

Our family arrived Friday evening. The house was very clean and ready for our family. The grands enjoyed the diving board and the fishing. We used the fire pit one night and made s’mores. Saturday am it rained but by the afternoon it cleared off. Sunday was a beautiful weather day!!! Neighbors were in and out but very nice and not loud or anything! I would definitely recommend this property to families with younger kids!

The property was just as advertised, and the location on the lake was fantastic. I also love not having to go down a ton of stairs to get to the dock. The house wasn't super well appointed, but the listing indicated that so we came prepared. The only thing I would have liked was a binder/folder with checkout procedures as I had to ask for those on our last day, but the host replied promptly so there were no issues. I would recommend this property.

Very quiet cove to enjoy swimming and docking a boat without dealing with choppy water. The house was very clean, the bedrooms fit our family perfectly with 2 more futons in the living room. The kitchen and living room area provided plenty of room for what little time we were in the house. Easy access to the dock with level area and a nice fire pit to enjoy a fire by the water at night. One of our favorite houses we have stayed in so far!

This place is very spacious! The kids enjoyed it very much!

The 8 of us had a great week at the lake! We brought our boat and it was so nice to be able to park right at the house. The internet is not great but we were happy going off grid for vacation🙂 lots of blankets and towels there for use and the washer and dryer worked well. The small neighborhood is so peaceful and felt so relaxed by the end of the week. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

No steps to the water was a major plus for this property. Open floor layout made relaxing and enjoying each other's company so easy. We caught so many fish we lost count, and the kids got dizzy from all the front flips they did off the diving board. Super relaxing, lots of room, and plenty of seating.

We shared the house with another family for a baseball tournament at Ballpark National. It was only 20 min. from the fields. The kids loved swimming and fishing in the lake. Beautiful setting made for a great weekend.

We went down for a long Father's Day weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the lake for days by floating, diving, swimming, and fishing. Went to town one day for some shopping and eating out. Love that it was located so close to so many things. Even drove to haha tonka 1 morning and hiked. Definitely would love to rent this cabin again. But this time for a longer vacation. The host were always available and responded to my messages almost immediately. Fixed any problems right away and we were very comfortable in the home . Thank you guys for a fun memorable weekend!

Downside.. internet and service reception is terrible. Could be a good thing if you want to disconnect, unfortunately, I needed to work as well so it was difficult. Also, furniture and decor are decent but there could definitely be some updates (more so the bathrooms.. water in showers was hard to regulate and sprayed in different directions, microwave didn’t work but I’m sure owners will replace as it was working the week before they said, no garbage disposal). Overall, decent place and we had a great time!

Renting thru VRBO is at time is frustrating because they won't allow direct communication with owners when you have questions regarding their property until you have booked the property. I understand the reasoning but very frustrating when trying to decide between properties to decide which would fit best for the family.
