A great house that was just as advertised. It was close to shopping and the Rio Grande bike trail, but far enough off Highway 82 to offer peace and quiet. The house was perfect for my wife and I to spend a month hiking, biking and taking in the Aspen music festival, but would easily handle another couple or a family. Well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds and furniture. And relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking was the perfect end to the day.

The place was gorgeous. The only issues I had was that there was no water coming from the fridge (broken I assume) so we had to buy tons of bottled water which makes me sad for the environment and there was no ice as the ice machine was broken. The other issue was the gorgeous view from the upstairs bedroom was unfortunately blocked by a very broken blinds. Because the blinds were mechanical there was no way to open them. This was sad because I wanted to look at the gorgeous Sopris view every morning and evening. I probably could’ve called to have it fixed but was just too busy with the itinerary we had.

My entire family spent a weekend in this wonderful home, and we were all absolutely mesmerized by the breathtaking views of Mount Sopris. We were all immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the property and the numerous outstanding amenities; what a pleasure to have every appliance one could possibly need in the kitchen . And a hot tub was truly icing on the cake! Bathrooms were all perfectly appointed, and there was a surplus of blankets and pillows in every bedroom. This was truly a sublime setting to send a winter weekend in the Roaring Fork Valley, and i definitely look forward to returning to this propery during a summer weekend.

House was easy to find and easy to enter. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen for a little cooking. Did a couple loads of laundry while there. Views of Sopris and meandering Elks Range are spectacular. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. House is right above our friends place so location was perfect for us. 25 to 40mins to the different ski resorts. Hominy is a great little restaurant right down the hill in El Jebel while Willits supplies groceries and beverages. Would stay again!

We stayed the month of August and it was wonderful. The views are incredible and the house was perfect. Any questions we had were addressed quickly by the property manager. Can’t wait to return next year.

What a beautiful home rental!! The views were spectacular! Every morning we enjoyed the views and coffee on the deck. Loved looking through the binoculars in search of wild life. One day we returned to house to see some deer in the yard. The house was comfortable and clean. The beds slept very comfortably. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. I can't say enough about our stay. We visited Glenwood Springs, Carbondale (White House Pizza YUM), and Aspen.

We enjoy the peacefulness, comfort, and mountain views of this property. Sitting on the back deck with morning coffee in hand watching the local wildlife was the best. Great experience! Owner is very responsive with questions.

This is a beautiful home in an ideal location for winter and summer activities around the Aspen area with striking views of Mt Sopris and the Elk Mountain range. The furniture is comfortable and classy. The beds are great. The kitchen is stocked with quality cookware and bakeware; we had everything we needed for cooking. Carol is very quick and responsive to inquiries. The living areas are spread out over the three floors so individuals or couples can find their own private space. The home was clean. It is a great find!

WOW! We've been looking for a Roaring Fork Valley getaway for quite some time to do some fly fishing and cycling. This home is in the ideal spot between Carbondale and Basalt. It is beautifully maintained - one of the most well-kept and clean homes we've ever rented. Extremely peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed meals at the dining table looking out at Mt. Sopris and being greeted on several mornings by deer in the front yard. Owner was very responsive with all of our communications, and a slight plumbing problem was handled very swiftly with total concern about not inconveniencing us during our stay. We are already looking at our 2023 calendar for another - longer - stay.

We booked this property as a last minute trip to escape the unrelenting Texas Heat! It was the perfect location, close to Aspen, Carbondale, and Basalt. Additionally the grocery store was a short trip away! Ohhhhhh the views are spectacular!!! A nice cup of coffee on a brisk morning with Mt Sopris looming in the background was like a Norman Rockwell painting!! The Wildlife around the property was astounding, every day was something different, mule deer, chipmunks, eagles, and hummingbirds! The hot tub was terrific and was perfect after a day of hiking, and combine it with the night sky and you have a perfect ending to the day! We’ll definitely be back!!!

Our stay was lovely. The views are gorgeous. The place in in good condition. There was a plumbing issue the last day that was immediately responded to in the exact way you'd want it to be while on vacation. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Lots of space in this three level house. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Great Deck and gorgeous views of the mountains. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would not hesitate to stay here again. However, not a good place to stay if a person has trouble with stairs since three of the bedrooms are on the third level and the TV and one bedroom is downstairs in the lower level.

This is a lovely home to spend time with family or friends on the outskirts of Aspen with terrific mountain views. A spacious, well-appointed home, with a large kitchen, expansive deck and a terrific hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This property was fantastic. I would have 4WD/AWD in winter for the driveway, but if you aren't in a big hurry to get out early, you might get away with FWD and good tires since a gentleman came by at least once a day to plow. I was worried about trav

Nice house very spacious and comfortable. Amazing outdoor views. Conveniently located ~30 min away from ski slopes, near a wholes food yet in a quiet and calm location.
Owner is responsive and flexible.
Really no downside - the only minor thing was that some of us found the jacuzzi temperature to be a tad low, but owner tried to help right away.

This is the house we love to stay at when visiting the Aspen area. I have already written a review from past stays and the home is exactly the same as always. Well maintained. Perfect for our family.

We had a lovely stay here for our second time visiting. The view is beautiful and the house is very homey. Only issues we had was a bathroom trash can had not been emptied and a few windows were left open and a few bugs got in the house. Overall not a big deal, as they just seemed like oversights rather than neglect of the owner or manager. Would stay here again if we head back to that area.

Surprisingly closer to town than I expected. Can't say enough about the view, layout, and hot tub. Beds were amazing!
Even during a heat wave without AC is wasn't a problem. Big huge windows easily opened in all rooms to let air flow nice. Was actually cold at night during 95 degree day.
Host was nice and flexible. Loved the location, the peacefulness, and the view.
