Glad I also chose to have breakfast and dinner on site, truly family style, very delicious. All employees are polite and nice. Good price and close to station.

Absolutely amazing for the price. The room was spacious, the beds were extremely comfy, there was a private bath/shower (sento) open 24/7 and maintained at 41C. A bath robe, toothbrush, body and face towels were provided free of charge.

Some of the shelves were a bit dusty.

Staff friendly despite the language barrier. Room was clean and comfortable. Basic but it's a basic price. Very close to the station which was great!

Be aware, the staff don't speak any English at all. We got by with Google translate but just so you know. We had to pay cash only. Luckily I had thought to go to an ATM just before.

It's very basic but the location is perfect! I enjoyed having my own quiet room after three weeks in hostels.

The place was comfortable enough to sleep in... sorta. Everything was functional, if you are fine with old Japanese style baths. Shared bathrooms.

Reception was dark and I had to shout for a minute or so to get someone to process reception. Place is rather run down and didn't look very appealing. Hint of smoke in the room. Worst was being woken up at night by a woman shouting downstairs (something about being drunk) as well as arguing in the next room (and no one did anything about it). All felt a bit shady.
