3 Mimosa is everything you’re hoping for in a vacation home! Clean, bright, a wonderful kitchen, and an even more wonderful backyard. It was chilly and rainy most of our week so we couldn’t enjoy the pool or grill, but our dogs loved having a fenced yard to run and play, and chase the squirrels! Hardwood floors make it easy to sweep up sand (or in our case, leaves!) and the washer/dryer was a plus as well. Jonathan was great at responding to questions and staying in touch with check-in/check-out details. One helpful thought - for folks visiting in the cooler months, it might be helpful to have some extra blankets on hand. We found 2 in the closet, but with 4 bedrooms we were a bit short. Our nights were a little chilly for the summer bedding! Thankfully Home Goods is nearby, so we just picked up a few, but having them stocked at the house would be great!

Lovely house in a great location with short walk to the beach

We stayed in this house for two weeks with our two dogs and had a great time. The location is great. It was a quiet and private home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable. The washer and dryer was easy to use. Easy key pad for in and out. Fenced in yard was secure. Everything you can need! The pool was a nice addition. The only thing I’d suggest is adding an area rug especially since dogs are allowed. I think they would’ve appreciated one.

Our stay on Mimosa st was absolutely perfect and tranquil! All the beds were so comfortable and they had everything you could need! It was a 7m walk to the beach and very central to other island restaurants/shopping. We will definitely be booking again!

The house is very comfortable, so much space with 4 bedrooms and the fenced in backyard was wonderful, especially if you bring dogs. The house was very clean, the beds comfortable and the owners very friendly and responsive. We would definitely recommend this house.

A wonderful time was spent at HHI and your lovely home played a significant part in our visit. In addition to the comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and the close location to beautiful beaches; the backyard pool, large grill and fenced yard provided perfection to our stay. We celebrated my father’s 80th birthday with family that also stayed in HHI snd your home added to the excellent outcome of the gathering. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The house was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen/dining area was large. The pool was awesome, and having all ocean wagons, chairs, umbrellas and floats right there made our trip a great one!! The owners were available at any time we had a question and response time was very efficient.

The house was impeccable! The pool was perfect! Landscaping beautiful. We are a family of landscapers it’s our business. The beds were so comfortable and spacious ! House and beach shed had everything you could need for a complete vacation( best beach wagon ever)! I say location location location! Awesome. Would love to stay again! Next year 2024 we will be back!

Our stay at this home was a vacation with our children and grandchildren. The backyard and pool is wonderful! Plenty of beach chairs, wagon, and beach toys for the short walk to the beach. Beds are super comfy. Host was responsive. Highly recommend!

We spent a week in this home and appreciated the beach and pool equipment which was supplied. It was nice having the pool. Only a short walk to the beach. Lots of good restaurants, shopping, and things to do in the area. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again. Great hosts.

Great proximity to the beach. Nice pool which was cleaner twice during our stay. Clean home. Comfortable beds. Shower/tub was older with chipped paint but clean. All the beach/pool equipment needed for a great stay. Perfect place for a family with young kids! So nice you don’t have to bring all those beach/pool toys with you.

Well-appointed property - comfortable furniture and beds, convenient location, nice pool and patio. Pleasant 5-10 minute walk on a paved path to Folly Field Beach Park. Easy communication with host. Safe fenced yard for the dogs. Loved our stay - just wish it had been warmer!

We spent two weeks at this lovely property. The kitchen had everything necessary for those who want to cook, and there are many good restaurants close by as well. We spent time relaxing by the pool every day, and loved the fenced back yard for our dogs. The bed was comfortable and the home is nicely decorated. It's an easy walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

This trip made everyone in the family happy. From the moment we walked into Mimosa, we felt relaxed. The house is perfect. The master bedroom is off on one side of the house. The 3 other rooms are on the opposite end. All rooms were perfect!! Beds were comfy and the open concept living and kitchen was great for hanging out as a family. We enjoyed the swing in the front of the house but mostly enjoyed the backyard!! Loved eating out or relaxing on the back patio while the dogs and kids got to play in the fenced in backyard. The outdoor speakers were a great touch for our vacation! Although chilly, the kids enjoyed the pool in February!! Thank you Jonathan and Katie for hosting our getaway to Hilton Head!

Mimosa was a perfect spot for our Hilton Head Island stay. We love the Folly Field Beach area and the home was a convenient, comfortable, and great spot for our stay. We will plan to stay again sometime.

Great property. Served our needs perfectly. We came from out- of- state to attend our son’s wedding. This property allowed us to feel at home & participate in all activities related to the wedding, as well as entertain friends & relatives who traveled for the occasion.

Everything about this home was perfect. All the beds were very comfortable. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient. The decor was comfy and inviting. It felt like a family home, not so fancy you’re afraid to break or stain anything, but very beautiful despite its comfort. The best part of this property is the beautiful backyard. From a pool, 3 tables with seating areas, lounger chair to sunbathe and an outdoor speaker system to blue tooth your music. This home was a huge hit with my family and we will be coming back!

Perfect vacation house! Location is so close to the beach and the walking trails. Beautiful backyard-perfect for our little dog to run around and play in the grass. Very quite and private. The pool temperature was amazing! They have lots of beach gear to use and the outdoor shower is so nice too! Kitchen is well stocked and has Tupperware for food storage. Bring your own cooking spices and paper products. Inside is so cute and clean!!! Bed was really comfy with soft linens. We felt relaxed and happy the entire time!

A short walk to Folly Field beach, this property was perfect for our family of 5, consisting of two parents and three young adults. The beach is beautiful and clean. The property was big enough for all of us to fit in nicely and provided all of the comforts of home. Having a pool on the property was an added bonus. We truly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning!

We had a great time at this property. The home has everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. The backyard is perfect with lots of seating and the pool is a must. It’s so nice having the pool as an option if you’re not in to getting all sandy and for the days the weather isn’t quite great for the beach or a night swim. The location is not too far to the beach and we will definitely be back.

We have been vacationing on the island for over 15 years and this rental ranks at the top of our list now. The house is a walkable distance to the beach (less than 10 minutes) and close to many shops and restaurants. Most of our time was spent at the property itself enjoying the extremely private backyard and pool. The owners were quick to respond to our questions before our arrival and we did not have any issues during our stay. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future.
