Donna, the host, and her breakfasts were the best

The bed was uncomfortable

Location was nice with river view, but would be bad to travel in bad weather. Unimproved gravel road could be hard to travel on in bad weather, especially for seniors like us. And to go from car to entrance door could be improved for rolling suitcases. I had to pick up my suitcase a few times.

I did not like having to gravel road for the last approach and then graveled walk-way to the front entrance.

Easy check in and great, quiet location. I selected this location as a stop along the way to New York. by chance, I found peace and quiet, along with meeting some nice travelers.

Breakfast was superb in all respects!

Need better A/C on 2nd floor.

I was there off-season, it seems: spring starting later than I thought...so I was alone in the house. My lack of fortune with weather was compensated by an amazing stay: the hostess sweet and un-imposing, the excellent breakfast (that she cooked just for me!), the cleanliness and coziness of the house.

we loved the remote location along the river with the beautiful farm landscape surrounding the house. great views ! the house is spacious and eccentric with the addition of a log home- which we loved! the hosts provide everything you need including toiletries, fully stocked kitchen and spacious common areas. the hosts are super friendly and accommodating ! we would definitely return!

the drive to the property may leave one with questions about the location.

Location next to the river was exceptional, and the host who runs the bed and breakfast was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the free use of the canoe to experience nature up close on the river.

The twin beds were a bit soft.

Personal service with Donna providing a one to one experience. We were the only occupiers. Off the beaten track but easy to get to the nearest town. Limited eating choice for dinner in the town.
