Gorgeous cottage with a surprise of lots of goodies and treats waiting for us. So grateful for the thought that went into making us comfortable. The electric blankets were on, fresh breakfast supplies, it was all really lovely.

Beautiful cottage just out of town, hosts, Eddie and Julie, are lovely friendly people who are very willing to help you in any way they can. Lovely fresh home made and home grown goodies were an extra treat. I would recommend this place and would definitely come back again

Probably one of the best stays we gave experienced. Lovely hosts and a wonderful accomodation with everything you need and more. So comfortable and well equiped. Close to everything but enough out of town to feel rural. Just a spectacular stay and we will be back for sure!

Was travelling with mum - this amazing property met every need and more. Hosts were lovely and so accommodating, especially with our unintentional late arrival. They were attentive to all our needs while still giving us our space. The homemade/grown goodies an exra treat. It was lovely to open the curtains each day to see little critters exploring their world outside - rabbits, doves, ducks, quail, hovering hawkes. The setting was very private and quiet, the photos just don't do it justice. The house is refreshingly modern in an English elegance style - it felt like "home" the moment we stepped through the door. Loved the vase of fresh roses that were in full bloom on the property. Highly recommend, will be staying again in the future :)

Just outside Havelock North, situated in mature gardens, this two bedroom cottage was perfect as a base to explore the wineries!

Comfortable warm and cosy. Lovely environment with relaxing atmosphere. Well setup cottage with e verything you could want. Maybe some signage would help to find the place is the only constructive criticism I could make. We would be happy to stay again.

This is a beautiful presented home, it's not a bach, or converted building, this is a home, the Louisa House is just that, with everything you need on arrival and settle in for your stay. With fresh produce from the owners who show you round on arrival and make you feel special to share this experience. If you have never been and looking for a little get away would well recommend. We will be booking again for our next trip to Hawkes Bay.

Everything about Louisa Cottage was a pleasant surprise. The hosts were charming and very helpful. The cottage was warm, sunny, private and very well equipped. Definitely one of the best places we have stayed in NZ. We will be back next year.

A beautiful cottage and very homely. Hosts go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best possible. A personal note is that some maybe travelling for work. A small desk would be a real winner as the dining table isn’t understandably comfortable you can sit at all day. Credit to the hosts who show their pride in this cottage and visitors.

A friend and I came up to play at a 3 day Bridge tournament. We were very happy here, very comfortable beds, quiet surroundings and wonderful produce that the hosts and provided. The cottage was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the peacefulness and the beautiful views from the cottage. The cottage itself was very spacious and comfy with plenty of spaces to relax. Julie and Eddie were very welcoming and friendly and extremely generous with their included provisions. We particularly enjoyed the homemade soup and muesli! We also appreciated the early check-in. Highly recommend this cottage.

Exceptionally comfortable and spacious cottage in a quiet, picturesque setting. From the generous breakfast supplies and well equipped kitchen to the super comfortable bed, the cottage had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Julie and Eddie couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful .
