Lovely property and we’ve stayed in several places along the coast

After 50 plus years of renting on the Gulf Coast and a few years of owning our own, this house rates among the top for layout, cleanliness and decor.
Although, not beachfront, access was easy and the beach was not over crowded.

My husband and I had our three adult children, their spouses, and their children stay with us for four nights. It was a perfect house for our large group. We loved the number of beds, the arrangement of the bedrooms, and the well-equipped kitchen!

Loved this place. Location is excellent. We loved the big porch and it was very convenient to have the outside stairs leading up to it. Outdoor shower and hose was a plus to rinse off the sand. Our kids loved borrowing the beach toys, boogie boards and crab nets. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

This was the 4th year we have spent at Cottages at the Romar. It is the Best! If you have teenagers it is perfect.

The stay was amazing. It was a great house in a perfect location and we look forward to booking in the future. Only request is that the kitchen have a few more basics like salt/pepper for cooking that are harder to purchase for a shorter stay.

The house was wonderful and the location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach and there is a wonderful pool area as well. It is in a gated neighborhood with plenty of parking and shopping, restaurants, grocery stores very close by. We will definitely be back. There are plenty of sleeping spaces for a large family or a group of friends.

All was wonderful except for bats that flew out nightly from house and wanted to invade porch. Turning on lights and fans helped!

Beautiful property. Easy access to the beach. Great pool for the kiddos. Agree with other reviewers that black out curtains would be a welcome addition to bedrooms but overall lovely comfortable home. We got lucky with fabulous weather while there. Bicycles were an added bonus and plentiful toys were provided. Hope to return!!

We were very pleased with our accommodations! The home was decorated beautifully. Very spacious and kitchen well equipped. The only problem we had was no ice machine and the freezer didn’t produce much ice at all. Upstairs king bedroom closest to the pool got very hot during the day. Maybe some blackout curtains would take care of that. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Beach House
This home was perfect for our extended family vacation. So much space and just truly a beautiful home. The owners responded within minutes when I had questions or needed anything. The pool was perfect for hot nights and the beach is so close to the house for walks and just enjoying beach time.

Fantastic Getaway
This was a wonderful property at which our extended family celebrated Christmas! We had 11 adults/teens and we had ample space and beds. The property is very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. It is located in a lovely community with nice grounds, great amenities, and super close to the beach (almost direct access). If we choose to celebrate another holiday in Orange Beach, this will definitely be the property we choose!

Property was great -
Property was very nice - unfortunately the cleaning wasn't finished till 4:30pm and I was unable to decorate for my 5 year old granddaughters surprise birthday party before they got there. Very frustrating when a 4pm check in was promised.

Stormy Escape
This beach house was beautiful and perfect for the ladies in my family. Too bad we didn't get to enjoy the beach due to Hurricane Ida's strong wind and rain; but we all were happy to be safe away from our home which was hit hard by the storm. We would all love to return to this house again.

Grand Central
The house was beautiful, well taken care of and clean. It had the perfect layout for our family. A lot of cozy areas but also plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy. The outdoor area was also ideal with a small yard, nice gas grill and close to the pool and beach.

Alabama getaway
Excellent response from property mgt. We enjoyed the closeness of the pool and boardwalk! There were quite a few beach chairs & toys in the garage area. We left beach bucket toys for others to enjoy. Beds & pillows were very good & comfortable. Liked the small table & chairs for our little ones. Nice patio furniture & table/chairs. Our only wish was that the two outside patio fans would have worked. Beautiful home & nicely decorated. Our family had a wonderful time!

Fabulous Beach Cottage
This beach cottage was an outstanding experience in every way! The house is absolutely perfect and beautifully decorated! Just steps from the pool and boardwalk to the beach! It’s a perfect complex for vacationing with small children! The pool is wonderful for little ones with a zero entry section and other shallow sections. Even though I’m sure the complex was fully booked, it was never over crowded at the pool or on the beach. The house has lots of spread out space. More than enough bathrooms and sleeping area. Lots of space underneath to keep all your beach supplies, ice chest, etc. and plenty of parking. I can’t say enough good about this property. The only thing I could say as a con is that it’s not good for anyone who can not manage stairs.

Wonderful home!
We absolutely loved this house and can’t wait to stay again! The property managers were quick to answer questions or help when needed. The home is gorgeous and the perfect location of the neighborhood - located right by the pool, fire pit & beach! The property has all of the essentials & extra touches (beach toys, grill, grilling supplies, etc). The beds are super comfortable & plenty of space. We had 8 adults and had plenty of room.
Only room for improvement was the WiFi was spotty & none of the televisions worked because they couldn’t connect to the WiFi.

We thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous home. The pictures don’t highlight all of the neat features. The owners thought about hosting small children with age appropriate toys, beach/ pool toys and a small table and 6 small chairs in the spacious kitchen. It was wonderful having access to all of the beach chairs, umbrellas and carriers.

Awesome house!!!
We really loved this beach house. It was perfect for our group. Just a couple steps away from the beach, the pool is super nice, and plenty of parking!!! I will definitely be renting again. We are talking about moving our family vacations to this property.
