Die Wohnung war ziemlich groß. Der Gastgeber hat uns einen zusätzlichen Schlüssel bereitgestellt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet.

Das Badezimmer war eine Zumutung. Die Toilettenschüssel hatte einen großen Riss, und war undicht. Die Toilette und die Wanne sind uralt und unhygienisch. Die Badewanne ist so schmal, dass man nur seitlich duschen konnte. Es gab keine Steckdose im Badezimmer. Die Waschmaschine stammt aus der Anfangszeit der Industrialisierung. Das Kurzprogramm dauerte 105 Minuten. Mann konnte entweder duschen oder Wäsche waschen, denn der Wasserdruck war zu niedrig. Strom gab es nur wenn wenn die elektronische Karte eingesteckt war, d.h. es war unmöglich die Waschmaschine laufen zu lassen, wenn man nicht zuhause war. Also, entweder rausgehen oder Wäsche waschen. Beides war nicht möglich. Obwohl in der Beschreibung von zwei Bädern die Rede ist, gibt es nur ein uraltes Badezimmer und eine Toilette. Nachdem wir jeden Tag zwei bis drei riesige Kakerlaken in der Küche gefunden haben, haben wir dort nur noch Kaffee getrunken. Es war uns zu unheimlich, dort noch zu frühstücken.

This was a lovely authentic property in the heart of the old town, we were in amongst both tourists and locals, there was an amazing bakery round the corner and all the shops we needed in easy reach. The kitchen has plenty of equipment etc (some places we have stayed provided just the number of plates etc for the number of beds)

Nothing really, there were some noisy nights, but I don’t like sleeping with air conditioning so we slept with the widows open and shutters closed, if we closed the windows we wouldn’t have heard the neighbours. You have to put the card attached to the key in a slot for the electricity, which I fully understand, but when you need to charge your device, you can’t just leave it on charge while you go out and if you put the washer on while you are out, that also stops until you return.

Michael, the host, couldn't have been nicer, or more helpful. The apartment was very large, like a house. There is a rooftop terrace with wonderful views.

No English news channels. Having to turn on the boiler for hot water.

Location is good for walking around the old city, 5-10 mins walk to most of POIs, many nice cafes and bars. Rooftop terrace is huge benefit here -- great for night-time outdoor dinners with views. 2 big free parking areas at 5 mins walk distance. Welcoming and supportive owner.

This place is 3-levels house, so it has 2 stairways (living-to-bedrooms, bedrooms-to-rooftop), quite steep -- so it might be difficult for guests with small kids, or elderly people. Washing machine and dishwasher are old. -- Don't count on the dishwasher. The other side of old city's charm -- noise, very close neighbours.

Only one thing, the bed in the bigger bedroom is not very comfortable.

The apartment was wonderful in every respect! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The furnishings were beautiful, the kitchen had every appliance we needed, and the welcome cheese tray and Raki were so very thoughtful! Michael had several recommendations for us for our visit, and we will definitely recommend his apartment to others and would love to return again!
