This Cabin was perfect for what we needed for our weekend getaway. It was clean and the outdoor kitchen was great. We will definitely stay at this cabin again in the future

This cabin would be great for any stay, but perfect for fisherman. Location is right by Broyles Landing, or convenient to Clemson or the dam area. The boat shelters are a tremendous plus, so you can secure your rig for the night and recharge batteries as needed. CLEAN and comfortable. Great hosts and very accommodating.

I have stayed at this location multiple times now for bass tournaments and enjoy it a lot. I plan to bring my family up for a weekend in the near future. Owners are super nice and make sure you enjoy your stay. Thank you!

Easy to find, loads of parking, the outside kitchen was great. Fun little place, loved the sinks and the metal roof.

Great property and hosts were very welcoming. We had a very relaxing few days and enjoyed our stay.

So relaxing!!! The cabin is very well equipped and very comfortable. It is conveniently located to the lake and many restaurants. I would highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay for an easy lake day

The cabin and outdoor area were the perfect spot to unwind for a few days! The owners were fantastic about communicating and thought of everything you would need to enjoy your stay!

My mom & I needed a relaxing, peaceful place while visiting family. This place was exactly what we needed.

The property is in close proximity to a boat launch and there is secured boat storage on site. There is a great outdoor kitchen, availability of outdoor activities and a fire pit with plenty of seating. We came up for a Celebration of Life, but we do plan to return with friends to rent both cabins. Grocery stores are a short drive. We had a great time & can only give positive comments. A awesome stay! The addition of another large cabin would be an asset to the property & grow the business. Thank you again!

It was a great place to get away. Very close to Clemson and Greenville, and a great place to bring your dog as well. With of dog-friendly activities/restaurants in the area, this is a great place to set your headquarters - only a few minutes from the beach!

The place was perfect for bass fishing

You could not have a better setup to fish Lake Hartwell (or just hang out)! Located about midlake with a ramp just down the hill, or within a 20 minute ride to most other destinations around the lake. Accommodations are clean and well maintained. The shelters for boats are perfect. Would be a nice place to bring a family and rent both cabins and use the outdoor shelter area between the two cabins. Away from traffic but close enough to Clemson or Anderson. Tackle and bait store two minutes away. Communication is excellent. Love the place!

Cute cute cute!!! This cabin is soooo cute. The property and inside the cabin were spotless! There are 2 cabins here and a LARGE outdoor kitchen and 4 picnic tables in the middle. The owners provide all the outdoor cooking utensils and gear you'll need or want to have an amazing breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are lots of outdoor games and a cozy nice fire pit with chairs circling the pit. All you need to bring to these cabins are your clothing and food, because the owners have you covered with any and all cooking gear you’ll need. The cabins are so easy to find, they’re just right off the interstate. Checking in was a breeze as well as checking out. Plenty of parking, quite and you definitely feel safe in these cabins. The cabins are decorated in the coolest things. Furniture and bed is very comfy. I was so impressed to walk into the bathroom and notice that the owners had even put out new sealed toothbrushes for the guests. That gesture totally told me that the owners think of and appreciate guest staying at the cabins. The highest price hotels don’t provide or think of guest the way the cabin owners do. Deanna and Don made sure to let us know if we needed anything to just let them know. I can’t say enough good things about the owners or the cabins. What I can say is that I’ve found the perfect place to stay that’s very close to the GA/SC state lines. The lakes are so convenient to get to and wet your fishing line. When you rent the cabin, make sure you take a short trip over to Maryland’s Chicken for a delicious country style breakfast!!! Yummy, biscuits were cat head size so you’ll be full and glad you ate there. I can’t wait to go back and book one of these cabins. Believe me, Deanna and Don are wonderful people and I very much appreciate how great they were at communicating with me and making my birthday weekend a blast. I will DEFINITELY rent these cabins from Deanna and Don again. I could live in those cabins and be so happy!!! Wonderful experience staying at Castaway cabins. Hosts were great folks and accommodations were just as described. Will return for another visit.
