The apartment was walking distance from the beach which was ideal. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

A bbq would be handy.

The apartment had no view. At times the side street had 13 vehicles around the property. The property next door had large noisy parties including a stripper in full view. The 40+ steps made it unsuitable for elderly people.

Our flight to Ballina landed in the evening, so it was excellent that a door code allowed us access to the property the moment we arrived. The communication with the hosts was exceptional from the first contact and we were made to feel most welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. The use of a door code meant that we didn't need to carry keys to the property around with us, one less thing to remember and no messing around. The location of the property was excellent, a real fifteen minute walk to the centre of Byron Bay and one day we discovered a hidden pathway that allowed us to walk about half of that distance through trees and quiet streets. The easiest way to find this is, actually on your way back to the property, so first time out head into Byron using the main road, Shirley Street, it's a straight line into town. On your way back, use Shirley Street but head up Milton Street and keep heading west to the property. Milton Street ends, but there is a pathway through the trees which joins with Cavvanbah Street in about 150 metres. Keep walking along Cavvanbah and you're back at Aqua Soleil. The property is five minutes from the beach, check it on map software, so easy to get to and Belongil is such a beautiful beach with plenty of clean sand and a view of Cape Byron lighthouse on the headland. We were lucky enough to get some winter sun (about 20C) and spent a couple of relaxing hours at Belongil Beach and it was perfect to walk such a short distance back to the property. Inside the property is spacious, white, clean and bright. There's a mezzanine floor where the bed and en-suite with shower are which is large enough to stow your suitcases with plenty of surface space to leave clothes and items within reach. Downstairs is the main space and with the wrap around glass doors and windows, the sun and breeze come in making the combined living/kitchen area a pleasure to relax/cook/live in. Great location. Quiet spot. Room was well decorated & styled cool. Modern take on traditional. Loved the ceilings, windows. Got an early check in which was fantastic host was great. Bed was comfy. Bathrooms were lovely & modern..

Not enough toilet paper provided. The table outside was dirty. The upstairs room would be warm in summer as the window gets a lot of light in as there’s no blind.

Great size and high ceilings. Newly renovated and great shower.

No body wash, or shampoo or conditioner provided. being booked on booking.com and the price thought this should be included. Also only 2 towels were left for us.

Only 1 Air-Conditioning system for the loft apartment. it was so hot upstairs and we had to leave the aircon blasting to keep it cool. only 1 pedestal fan. ground bedroom had no fan. the photos depict a different expectation and experience

We loved this property. Everything was wonderful. Hosts were fantastic to deal with before and after. We felt very welcomed and valued and the property itself... all the finishing touches and location were just perfect. We will be back. Byron grows on us every time we go there and the access to Belongil and the town centre was fantastic. It was out of the main area, which we liked but was an easy walk in.

We missed a BBQ ... would be happy with a shared one on p[property, but there were none for the unit or property. The pillows were super thick and firm... some softer thinner options would be good. Only other thing would be another air-conditioning split system for upstairs in loft and the bedroom. A fan would be useful for the bedroom too.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with a great pool. The showers were amazing and there were plenty of comforts and thoughtful touches. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk into the centre

The pillows were too high and uncomfortable, the double bed upstairs can get quite hot and cops a lot of morning light. Small price to pay as the pros definitely outweighs the small amount of cons

Great location. Stone's throw from the Belongil Beach and about 10 min walk from the main town centre - no need to drive around. Recently redone Mediterranean style studio apartment, very tastefully done up. New and very clean bathrooms. All amenities in place. The host was very responsive. Check in was flawless and everything was as expected - no surprises.

The loft bedroom did not have separate air conditioning - had to leave the main hall air conditioner on for a long time to get the entire place cool.

Smartly furnished, extremely clean and welcoming apartment. Lovely large balcony.

Upstairs loft has no curtains so very bright, I suggest eye masks for your stay.

The Aqua Soleil at Byron Bay is in the perfect location, quiet with one minute walk to beach and and easy 10 minute walk to town via beach. The property was clean, coastal modern and open plan with a large sunny balcony. Communication with property manager was easy, pleasant and accomodating.

There was nothing to dislike about about this accomodation. Fabulous - We will be back !!

BYO Toilet paper! VERY prescriptive rules on cleaning prior to leaving (ie empty dishwasher), otherwise $50 fine is disproportionate with cleaner's work
