We stayed with 2 other couples and had a great time. Beautiful views. Incredible building. Friendly and helpful staff. The building is treated like a hotel. Someone was always around to help us with whatever we needed. The pool area is amazing. We spent a lot of time there. We highly recommend this one!

We had such a fabulous time celebrating our sister, and elderly mother. The condo was beautiful, and the views were stunning! The owner, Karen, was so easy to communicate with. I will def book this place again. Such a great location, so close to everything. I give this place and the owner 5 stars!!

The Emerald is a safe friendly place for people of all ages to stay. We are avid beach goers and thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee on the huge balcony overlooking miles of Beaches. The condo was beautifully appointed, clean and roomy enough for the 5 of us. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were lovely and soft. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and coffee, and the washer and dryer were a godsend when we got caught in the rain during one of our adventures. There are several routes to walk or run if you are a morning exerciser. We enjoyed the sea wall blvd as well as many of the side streets admiring the cute cottages and historical homes. Everything is close by, restaurants, shopping, and of course beautiful beaches. Umbrellas and chairs were for rent on the beach weather permitting, and there is a theater nearby for a movie should a shower come along with some much needed rain. Overall, we had an excellent vacation and hope to return to this condo again in the not too distant future.

The view and the balcony are unbeatable at this condo. You have this same view from the pool too. The check in was seamless and the people were so welcoming and nice. The security guard on the ground floor became our friend by day 2 walking back from the beach. We had 2 16 year olds and the walk was super easy but if you can’t make the walk, it is literally across the street. The location is unbeatable with restaurants, groceries and anything you could need. The owner gave excellent eating recommendations and all very convenient. Everyone that lived there or worked there was incredibly nice. It felt like we lived there. I loved the dogs in the elevator and the couple bringing their dinner down to the pool. The condo is well equipped with anything you could need. We love Galveston and love many places along the sea wall but this may top them all. Hope we can call ourselves islanders one day too!

Beautiful 3BR condo, perfect for our family of 6. Also, the heated pool and hot tub were perfect. Decked out with everything you need. Really appreciate the pool towels! Very nice place!

Everything about our stay was wonderful and super convenient! The elevator from the parking garage goes right to the floor, where the room is which happens to also be right off the elevator. The condo itself is very homey and relaxing, very well decorated. The staff at the condo complex are so friendly. We watched three movies in the theater room and they were always, more than happy to help get us going. The game room was fun, my 14-year-old had an absolute blast! Very conveniently located near everything including the beach right across the street. Amazing views! The beds and pillows are so comfortable, we almost wanted to reach out and ask what brand they were. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. Very relaxing!

The condo was very nice and good size/setup for our group (4 adults and 1 child), and would work for a couple. It was very clean and well appointed for all our needs. The deck is enormous and can hold twice as many as the living space, with an amazing view of the gulf. The common area pool and other areas are also top notch. The beach is across a main street but it is a short/easy walk.. Many great restaurants and attractions close by. We had a great week and the property owner was extremely helpful and hospitable, would definitely recommend this property and stay there again.

Condo was exactly as shown in the photos. Kitchen was stocked with all dishware needed, and comfortable beds and livingroom furniture. The 6th floor game room and pools were amazing! Close to restaurants and grocery store.

This place is amazing!! There are six in our family and it fit us perfectly. Beautifully appointed, very safe & secure. The pool is heated so great for spring break! Can’t wait to stay here again.

The family had an excellent time in Galveston over the Thanksgiving break. The condo has ample space to accommodate 5 adults, very comfortable! Location is ideal, close to the beach and other attractions in the area.

Lovely location- beautiful well equipped unit in well loved property. Loved spending time on the balcony and soaking up the ocean views! Three large beds - perfect for us and two adult “kids” to be comfortable. Great central location. Loved Trattoria La Vigna for Italian and Millers for seafood. Handy to have Russos next door for pizza and salad. Swam at the beach and walked the beach every day we were there. Very special!

We had the most amazing stay at this property. The balcony had a great view and plenty of places for the family to sit outside and have breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to book this place again soon. The only problem is we wish we had stayed a couple of more nights. This place had everything we needed.

We took my parents for a summer trip and needed a place without stairs but close to the beach. This place was absolutely perfect. The condo was the perfect size for us and the pools were even better! Would love to stay again!

This condo was an absolute dream for us! There were 4 adult girls. There was plenty of space and all the furniture was comfortable! The patio was huge and we had a great time out there as well hanging out at the pool-which was huge and clean! This condo is close to all the places you would want to visit while in Galveston, as well! All in all, I would totally stay in this condo again when traveling to Galveston!

Beautifully decorated and supremely comfortable, with every amenity. The balcony and comfortable furniture with a fabulous view of the Gulf was the perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The facilities at the Emerald were super and the owners we met were very friendly and welcoming.We plan to return next year. I'm giving this place a 5--hope this means perfect!

Beautiful and relaxing!

This property was better than described and met or exceeded all of my family's needs for our short vacation to Galveston. The property was clean and safe, which was very important to me. The balcony area was fantastic and many hours were spent just relaxing gazing out at the waves and the beach. I would definitely stay here again - the property owner was very responsive to our needs. Highly recommend staying in this Condo. Gorgeous views, heated pool, walking distance to the beach, Pleasure Pier, restaurants, and very secure building.

Unfortunately, I was in town due to my mother being transferred to the Hospital in Galveston; hours from our home. The first place I tried was too far. I’m so glad I found this spot as it was a 10 minute walk from the hospital, right across the street from the beach, and you can easily order food via DoorDash. The Master bed was super comfortable but do note, the bed consists of 2 split twin mattresses versus a full one piece king mattress; something to consider for couples. The new sofa and love seat recliners are perfect for relaxing. The host is very nice and quickly responds to calls and emails. The front desk could not locate my reservation when trying to check in, but a quick text to Karen and she was on it and the issue resolved within a matter of seconds. I look forward to staying here in the futures, just hope it’s for a more enjoyable and relaxing event.

This condo is well stocked and decorated. All the beds were comfortable. The building amenities are amazing and there was plenty of convenient parking. You can’t beat the view on the huge covered porch. We go to Galveston monthly and this is one of the best condos we have had the pleasure to stay in.

We stayed for a few days during our fall break visiting family in the Houston area. This place was excellent, very clean. Sofas with reclining chairs were super comfy! Great view to the ocean and a huge balcony with a large table and nice lounge area to sit outside. We didn’t cook but kitchen was bright and clean. We used the laundry which was so nice to have in the unit. The main bedroom had a beautiful view and bed was super comfortable. The blinds really do block the light, suggest keeping them down during the day if you leave otherwise that bedroom gets a little hot. Second bedroom was perfect for my father-in-law who came with us. The kids (girls 10 and 6) loved the third bedroom with the bunk beds! The amenities of the building are really the selling point. The pool area is gorgeous with a long heated pool and a smaller “cool pool” next to it and the hot tub on the other side of the outdoor bbq / bar area. There was no service but you can reserve those areas if desired, pool area had plenty of chairs and a nice shaded area with couches. There is a large game room down the hall from the pool and our kids loved that - pool table and foosball table. They also had a TV and lots of board games in the game room if desired. Only disappointment was the gym is only open to visitors (renters / non-permanent residents) from Fri-Sun and we arrived Sun evening through Wed. They would not allow me to go wearing a mask or even if I said I would leave if a resident also came. Very conservative considering where we are with Covid restrictions in most areas (Oct 2021). There is Russo’s pizza right there you just go down to the first floor and out a gate so that was an easy pick up for lunch by the pool one day. Dawn Donuts is next door and was delicious! There is also a Chili’s and McDonald’s right across the parking lot as well as a Wing’s beach and clothing store. It did take several minutes to walk to the beach as you walk across the lot and then cross a busy street and then across a large parking area for the beach. We didn’t stay long but did enjoy walking on the beach. The owner did not have any beach chairs but had some sand toys and beach and pool towels. It wouldn’t hurt them to have a few chairs and an umbrella available, considering there was no option to rent chairs or umbrellas. We enjoyed Miller’s Seawall Grill, excellent food and service. Willie G’s had good food but terrible service. Moody Gardens was a must!

We had plenty of options, the accommodations were spot on and the balconies enriched the condo, our views and the overall experience. We’ll be back. Thank you!

The condo is clean and comfortable. We loved being close to restaurants and to Stewart Beach. The building is nice with great amenities. The host was very responsive and kind. Highly recommend this condo for a beach getaway.
