Very dusty and stains on blankets, needs better cleaning. Toilet seat is cracked and pinches you. Neighbor threatened us and was watching what we were doing. Room a/c unit exhaust broken blowing hot air into the room. Otherwise the property and area is beautiful. Creek nearby. Nice man-made creek on the property. Great location. The ping pong was fun, lots of activities for kids.

Pictures made it seemed it was more secluded ,cabin is at the end of a neighborhood corner and the neighbor had roosters that would crow in the early hours every morning

Me and my family had a good time the kids loved it have no real issue with the place except for the neighbor that seemed to have an issue with us

Log Cabin in the Pines had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay. Appliances, cookware, linens, games, nearby hiking, outdoor cooking and stocked cupboards of staples. Initially we thought it was a bit remote but with a Walmart, Home Depot, restaurants, service stations etc just a short, scenic 10 mile trip down the mountain away, it turned out to be a great launch point for our motorcycling touring.

This was the perfect location for our family trip. The cabin was super comfortable and the kids all lamented that we couldn't stay longer. Our night at the fire pit included a visit from some elk! The kids had a blast playing all over the property.

We booked this cabin as it was our first family easter together and wanted to make unforgettable memories. Well that is for sure was made. As we walked in the cabin we came into a smell threw out the cabin and discovered moldy rags and towels in a hamper in the laundry room. As I looked around this cabin wasn't cleaned at all prior to our arrival. Blood stains on comforter and on rugs that they had hanging on the balcony. Floors and counter sticky and gross. You couldn't walk around bare footed due to the amount of dirt and stickiness on the floors Dishes and Utensils not cleaned. If we wanted to use them we had to wash them first. We brought dinners to cook, but the stove and oven so dirty we didn't want to use them and had to spend money to eat out instead. Outside door knob was held up with electrical tape and a screw that was to long. Swim shorts on top of a ceiling fan. Towels not clean. Showers had hair and just all disgusting. most fire detectors were removed. I had to wash all the bedding before sleeping in them as there was blood on the bedding. Memories were made but not the kind I or my family wanted. Would of been better staying in a hotel. We did reach out to vrbo and still waiting on a response. Yes we took pictures and video to back up these statements.

Our kids were so excited about the forest and tree house that they didn’t even bother to stay inside and be on electronics! It was great for our family to get away. Highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had all the essentials and comfort needed for family of five and our dog. Kids enjoyed hanging out in upstairs loft and garage game room! Cabin is close to multiple great hikes next to river/creek. Kids loved climbing rocks and getting i to water on the hikes. Front of the house is very close to neighbors across the road, but back yard with the patio is very private. Overall, was good stay for spring break! Thanks!

We loved the cabin and the surrounding property. So much to do and all so lovely.

Kids loved it here, we had a great time there was so much to do and with no electronics.

The place was beautiful! We had an extended family of 14 and it was plenty of room for all of us! The cabin was very inviting and comfortable. The ping pong table in the garage was so much fun! Downtown Payson, Pine and Strawberry were very close by. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you Greg!

3rd time staying never had a problem but this time it was dirty. Stove had hairs and also the toilets a lot of dust and the floors dirty. Cabin needs a deep cleaning

This cabin was great it had everything. Family enjoyed staying on the cabin. Played board games and the kids enjoyed the trampoline. Then enjoy family time at fire pit at night. Great experience I will come back again for sure.

Nice large cabin in a very welcoming little neighborhood out in the woods. Even the animals were very nice. We got to hand feed some wild Elk! Little general store down the road if you need supplies, and Payson is only 20 minutes away if you really need. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay with kids ages 6+. Lots for them to do on site while adults can hike or explore area trails. Younger kids might have trouble navigating the steep terrain at cabin. Bring in your food and there’s really no reason to leave! There is weak or no cell service but the Wi-Fi at cabin was great. We love catching crawdads at the creek and kayaking and fishing at the nearby lake. We will be returning guests!

We enjoyed our time. The cabin is cozy. The deck is as well. The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is great for walks. And you can walk to the creek. Overall our stay was relaxing.

This property provided tons of adventurous exploring for the kids. The cliff edge and water feature were especially impressive. We had everything we needed for comfortable rest and meal preparation. We also enjoyed an outing to the near by river to cool off in the chilly water.

The cabin is spectacular and the amenities amazing. The kids had so much fun in the trampoline, in the tree house, and playing with the water feature. We had a herd of elk show up just off the porch several evenings and got to enjoy Water Wheel, Tonto Natural Bridge, and several other hikes and sights in the area. Caught crawdads for our dinner two nights and made a couple side trips up to Pine and Strawberry for empanadas and shopping. The neighbors were wonderful people as well and even have us some fresh eggs from their chicken coop. What a great place to spend the hottest week of the year!

Loved the huge wrap around porch. The starry sky at night and hammock was moms favored spot. Kids loved the trampoline and treehouse. Yard was super fun for kids lots for them to do. We hiked straight to the water wheel and went swimming and cliff diving - this was everyones favorite part of the trip. We will definitely bring the family back again for weekend getaways.
