Nice big room, close to the ferry, fine bathroom, all simple and old, but clean. Very nice host. Possibility to make your own breakfast.

The night views of the sea and the shores of the Italia mainland were fabulous. I had take aways meals and had dinner gazing at the somewhat mysterious views from the window.

The owner is really nice and helpful. There is well stocked kitchen that you can use in case you need to cook. I got a room with single bed, was quite comfortable. There was shared balcony with a street and sea wiev.

The room I had was loud from the street, that was bothering me the most. Place was ok, could be cleaner - space under the bed was a bit forgotten.

I am grateful to MappaMondo for making me try a unique experience. In a building facing the sea that in its entrance hall there are turtles complete with a well-kept swimming pool, then on the third floor the wonder of wonders, in the true sense of the word delightful apartment, very clean well cared for in the smallest details a journey into the world, from the objects of 'furniture with eccentric chandeliers, in the room for Natalie they made me find panettone and sparkling wine (attention not just), a simple colorful kitchen, well equipped, served with coffee, milk and various snacks all this stuffed by a fantastic, professional welcome from the owner and available for every need. I will definitely go back to take another trip around the world if only for one day. Thanks again for a wonderful stay on Christmas. Grazie mille.

The host was very friendly, the interior seems to be self decorated but in a lovely way. You feel right comfortable. Free coffee/tea and water provided, as well little snacks.

The hospitality of the host, the cleanliness of the rooms, the beautifully baked cake, access to the ferry terminal and much more. This is a perfect delight. A must to stay when in Messina.

It is 3 km away from the Messina Centrale Station and tram was not very frequent, so i had to walk for 37*3 mins.

The location very close to the Caronte harbor and to the tram line to go to the city center. Manuela, the host, was very kind !

Manuela was so kind. She even went to her house to print out my boarding pass for me for my flight the next day, gave me her whatsapp, offered me water, juice, whatever I wanted. I felt like I was at home.

It was about a 25 minute walk from the historic center but the price was really great, so I am not complaining. There is a tram that takes you right there anyway for 1,50€

Everything was fine for my short stay in Messina.

Unfortunately the breakfast was a little poor (coffee and 1 croissant).
