My Brother and my Niece flew from NZ and we came from SA to all go to a Geelong game. Lawson Cottage is amazing. Really beautiful fitout. The provisions provided are more than enough. Walk to the stadium, local hotel and coffee spot. Perfect location. Geelong you need heating and this cottage has it covered. Gas log fire. Aircon and heated floor. Wow. So recommend this cottage.

Gorgeous period cottage well modernised with all you need, spotlessly clean, with a cute back yard and nice sitting area. Host provided really nice touches including breakfast. Some train noise in the distance, close to football stadium and an easy walk into town

We had a fabulous two night stay in this superb cottage!
My husband and granddaughter loved the fact we were so close to GMHBA stadium. They enjoyed the football and the opening of the Joel Selwood Stand.
Everything you need is in the cottage. Thanks for the lovely breakfast goodies and delicious cookies. Hope we can stay again! Romany

The smell of a fresh baked lemon cake as you walked in was delightful, very cozy cottage fell with everything you need from robs,comfortable beds, heater warmed house well, dvds,books lots of local pamphlets everything youll need in the kitchen fresh eggs,bacon,fruit,milk,bread bbq,washer dryer, washing powder, a beautiful big realxing bath,big double headed shower, heated tiles in bathroom lovely neat well kept backyard. My husband two young adult children and myself had a fabulous time staying at the cottage. 10/10 well.done and loved looking at all the vintage things around the house and your photo album of you renovating the property

Lots of supplies in fridge. Bread and milk also to suit our taste. Owner very thoughtful. And bickies they left out, couldn't help myself

Very impressed and will definitely stay again! So much attention to detail, the host thought of everything you could possibly need and anticipated anything you could want. The house was in a great location and was so beautifully presented. The listing didn’t do it justice!

The place is amazing. It is handy if you want to see the geelong cats play, just around the corner is the train station. Also not far from the water front.
The owner is easy and fast to get into contact with and nothing was a.problem. love staying here and would go there again

Ages 66 71 and 88 perfect easy access for father inlaw from back door .great bathroom , single bed not to high for him, close to the loo .. perfect love all the extra little unexpected touches , THANKS !!!

House is as advertised. Great central location, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and other provisions a lovely and welcome touch. Great to have access to Netflix. We would stay again.

Beautifully and tastefully renovated and decorated, this property is outstanding. The hosts have not spared anything in their desire to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It is within walking distance of the CBD and in close proximity to coffee shops. Highly recommended. You will feel warmly welcomed and at home in this beautiful cottage.

Homely and inviting cottage
The cottage really felt like a home away from home. All the amenities and little touches that made it such a warm, cosy and comfortable stay. Especially with 2 young children! Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.

Excellent Stay in Lawson's Cottage
My stay in Geelong was fabulous. The beautifully renovated cottage with a fantastic eclectic mix of old original and modern comforts was extremely clean with quality inclusions.
It was cosy and warm with a sensational bath and bathroom.
Easy walk into town (I am in my 60's) for Cafes/Resturants and the Bay walks are stunning.
All in all a wonderful stay.

Comfortable old world charm, but with all the modern conveniences.
Beautifully presented, very comfortable with literally everything you need - we didn't even have to go the supermarket. Gorgeous garden, loved having our coffee in the morning sunshine. Agree with everything the other five star reviews mention.

Lovely, comfortable 1920s-style cottage
This renovated house was comfortable, warm and welcoming, with a lovely 1920s style. It was perfect for our short family get-away and a great place to base ourselves while we explored Geelong and the region. It was within a short drive of Geelong's Eastern Beach for an afternoon swim. The host was helpful and we appreciated the delicious supplies for breakfast and treats.

Amazing Era Cottage
This cottage is really well kept, super cosy and very comfortable. We loved our stay and wished we were able to stay longer. The cottage is equipped with all you need to have dinner or a BBQ in (we did) and a Nespresso machine to kickstart the mornings. The outdoor area around the back is very well kept, very pretty and a really well thought out space. Our host was externally hospitable, kind and a pleasure to deal with. If we are looking for somewhere to stay in Geelong again, we will certainly book here again.

Charming cottage.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed & more. The cottage was sparkling clean, a beautifully restored cottage keeping its traditional charm & furnished to the era. Fabulous Stay
While close to the train station, the sound from the trains could barely be heard. The home is beautifully refinished and the amenities were endless; fresh made cookies, a stocked refrigerator, heated floor in the bathroom, heated blankets, barbecue on the back deck. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!

Absolutely charming cottage
We loved this cottage. So well appointed with everything we needed. Beautiful and clean. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels. Plenty for breakfast from bread, eggs, bacon, tomatoes, yoghurt, fruit milk and juice all in the fridge ready for us. Everyone loved the yummy homemade cookies too. We had perfect weather to enjoy the outdoor space as well. Although my favourite was how much history, character and charm oozed from this home. Will certainly be back 😊�

Our 2nd time at Lawson’s Cottage and everything was great again! Spotlessly clean, well equipped and thoughtful provisions supplied. Location was perfect for our needs. Hosts are friendly and very helpful.

Comfortable, convienent and everything provided.
The cottage is beautifully clean with all the modern facilities you need provided. A very generous supply of breakfast provisions included as well as quality coffee and a lovely touch of biscuits to enjoy with a cuppa.
We were lucky to enjoy being able to sit on the deck to enjoy both the morning sun and evening cool.
Parking off street also much appreciated. Local coffee spot (UNtitled) around the corner, and a Saturday farmers market at the primary school all really make for a nice ‘hood.
The convenience of the railway station so close also means the noise from trains is close, esp from the level crossing. Not terrible but just be aware for light sleepers to keep the windows closed.

A beautifully detailed property with quality linen and bedding. Very generous amenities and a wonderful breakfast basket provided. Safe secure and warm. Lovely outdoor area.

A lovely place to stay in Geelong
We were in the area to attend the Avalon airshow, and we picked this lovely cottage to stay in because it looked cosy and welcoming, we were not disappointed. The amenities were perfect, everything was lovely quality (beds, bedding and towels) it was well stocked with breakfast provisions again of great quality. We are now looking at coming back to stay and seeing more of what Geelong has to offer

Beautiful cottage
Stayed here for a short family getaway and was very impressed. The cottage is beautiful inside and out, has all the comforts of home with breakfast provisions provided.
The location is also great being close to all the main sights, highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic place to stay
The place was spotless, has terrific ambience - a mixture of old and new - with great attention to detail. Breakfast and snack supplies, good quality bedding and gowns, spare umbrellas, DVDs for old and young, games, books, lovely old china and modern table settings, a BBQ, outdoor setting, full laundry with spare laundry powder, a heated floor in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying and very close to the train station if travelling by public transport. A real find!

What a beautiful cottage!
You will want for nothing when you stay at this wonderful home. A gourmet breakfast is supplied with a special little treat of home made cookies for your relaxing cup of coffee! The house is immaculate, the garden beautiful, a vast array of DVD's to watch and wonderfully comfortable beds. My husband, myself and two of our four children had the time of our lives and will be back at any chance, Brilliant!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lawson's Cottage. It had a lovely homely ambience, was absolutely spotless and great care was shown in making our stay comfortable. The breakfast provisions were both delicious and generous. The attention to detail was much appreciated.
