Beautiful well-stocked house with a magnificent view. It exceeded our expectations!

We had an amazing family vacation in Kauai! The house was perfect for our family with three adult children. We enjoyed the views from the lanai every sunrise and sunset. We had plenty of room for everyone and could have easily brought several more! I felt that the pictures where a very good representation of what the house is like! We would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful property!! We have been to Princeville a number of times, always in a hotel, but not anymore. This house made for the perfect family vacation. Extremely clean, thoughtfully furnished, and a great layout for a family. Plus a gorgeous view!! Wonderful hosts, we could not have wanted anything better.

My husband, 3 adult sons, and the beautiful ladies in their lives; enjoyed 10 days at this incredible VRBO. Besides having a million-dollar view (sunsets will never be the same); this home was appointed with everything we needed (and even things we hadn't thought of). The beds were dreamy and oh so comfortable; the linens fresh, new, and clean; the furniture high-end but welcoming and super comfortable; the decor was beyond inviting, elegant, and pleasing; all of the appliances were top of the line and in fantastic conditions; and the kitchen was stocked with every utensil, cookware, dishware, glassware, and small appliances- that we could dream up (even a French Press). The lanai was both breathtaking and functional- There were plenty of spots to carve out a moment alone sipping coffee and pondering the vastness of the ocean; to gather as a group and discuss our adventurous day; and/or to relax and unwind in the hot tub while watching shooting stars overhead. I have NEVER been more pleased and grateful, nor felt more at home, than I did in this VRBO. Last, but definitely not least: Eric (the host) was gracious and helpful- responding at a moment’s notice to any need or question. Thank you does not adequately convey the depth of gratitude I feel. We truly had the perfect host, home, and trip.. <3

First time using VRBO and it won’t be the last. The Princeville home was gorgeous and the location too notch. Can’t say enough about the brilliant views from the deck / veranda. The only minor issues were quicky addressed by the property management. I highly recommend the property.

Overall, this is a well-equipped and very clean house in an incredible location. The kitchen was excellent, and the lanai mind-blowing. If you like cooking with friends and eating outdoors while watching the sun set over the ocean, stay here.

Only a few nits keep us from a solid 5 stars. First is lack of climate control. While individual rooms have small AC units, we had problems getting them to function consistently. The house has special windows to let the breeze in, but if you aren't used to heat and humidity -- and/or choose to stay here during the heat of summer (we visited in June) -- you might be uncomfortable.

Second, the house does not come with amenities for small children (pack and play/cribs, high chairs, booster seats, etc). We brought our own so this wasn't a big deal, but plan to do the same (or rent) if you are staying with small children.

Finally, there appears to be a small electrical issue with the hot tub. Pro tip: check it the day before you intend to use it to make sure it's on and heating the water. We found it off/cold because the fuse had been tripped, and it took a long time to reheat. Not a big deal (we found the box and reset the circuit) but a bit disappointing to not have it functional when you're in your swimsuit holding a cold beer.

Overall, a fantastic experience. We would stay here again!

We were thrilled with this property - A/C in each bedroom and the family room in lower level with the Murphy bed was much needed during our stay for night-time comfort - otherwise we got along fine with open windows during day. After checking in and several days on the North side of the island, we decided it was a great choice as less traffic, beautiful beaches and undebatable views of sunset. We never used the hot tub (we have one at home). We sat on the deck daily. Kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed - plenty of kitchenware so you don't have to constantly wash dishes and glasses - though we kept everything clean to avoid any pests and never had an issue. Lots of pots/pans for cooking, store close by and great mgmt company response when the battery in the combo lock for garage needed replacing so we could get in and grab gear. Having the snorkel equip was great too! Walk to Queens Bath (across street) and to Hideaway Beach. We drove to Waimea Canyon, did waterfall hikes, snorkel, scuba and a coastal boat/snorkel tour. Recommend Tunnels Beach to snorkel as 2 reefs to explore. Super clean and comfortable beds. Our whole family was happy - everyone had own beds and the 3 3/4 baths were fabulous for us. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay in this home in Princeville. This home is very spacious and the decor is phenomenal. The view from the patio/ balcony is extraordinary. You can see the ocean the mountains and the golf course all together we are going to miss this view. The home is on the North shore which was perfect as we love the adventures this part of the island has. The house is literally across the street from the queens bath parking . We loved spending time in Hanalei Bay area which was a mile drive from the house. Right near the house is the Princeville center which has a Food lion a post office a few restaurants and shops. It was super convenient to have all of that close by. We appreciated the added touches the management company did like leave us canvas bags for shopping hand sanitizer local coffee and chocolates as well as shampoo conditioner and body soap. At the end of a long day exploring/ hiking/ surfing it was always nice to end our day in the hot tub and watch the sunset and once the sun goes down looking at the amazing night sky filled with stars. I was a little nervous knowing we would not have AC but to my surprise it actually got cold at night in the house and it stayed cool all day with the trade winds. Being from Florida we expected to be hot and sweaty all the time but it ended up being the opposite it's sunny hot beautiful yet cool and breezy all at the same time. We loved it so much we extended our stay and can't wait to come back to Kauai again!

The house was absolutely excellent with an amazingn lanai where we spent mornings and evenings. The house was beautiful and clean. The only issue was the hot tube did not work for most of the time. However I believe they fixed this the last day of our stay. Overall highly recommend.

The location and the views from the lanai are better than depicted by the photos. Our favorite part of the trip was having breakfast at the home soaking in the amazing views of the ocean and mountains! We had six adults and 2 young children in our party and this home was perfectly appointed for our needs. Can’t say enough good things, highly recommend this to anyone.

Like, more than one type of blender, scissors, skewers for grilling, extra propane tanks in the garage, beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkels, extra linens, Saran Wrap, foil, serving platters, salad bowls. It just goes on and on. I have never stayed in a rental that was better stocked. We had a few questions and our contact was available on the phone and text immediately. This is a professional operation, way above your average rental company.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The views are even better than the pictures do justice. We so enjoyed watching the sunset over Hanalei Bay. The house was spacious with a lovely kitchen. The location was great for getting into Hanalei but also other beaches closer to Kapa'a and there is a grocery store nearby. There were beach chairs, some snorkeling gear and boogie boards, which were all very useful and appreciated. The biggest downside was that the jacuzzi was not working, which our family was excited about using. But overall it was wonderful and we would recommend.

But from the inside, you would not notice the constant stream of people at all. We loved “our” beach by the resort (which is fully under construction). Loved the walk there. Great location for long morning strolls, discovering the nooks and crannies of this little slice of Princeville. The house was super cozy for the four of us, parents and two teens. Plenty of room for more. The balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean was beautiful for morning coffee and a spectacular spot for gorgeous sunsets. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking/grilling. Kauai is chock full of tourists, and lines are long, restaurants packed, not to mention places are short staffed due to Covid. So be patient and have a plan B. Many of the popular hikes require permits too - so search places out before you go. Just be prepared. I wish the hot tub were working. It wasn’t, and it was one of the things we were looking forward to. But no biggie. Overall it was a great stay.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The house is beautifully decorated, perfectly cleaned and the property mgmt. company provided everything needed. The real highlight is the lanai and the view. Waterfalls in the mountains, coastline ocean view and beautiful outdoor landscaping sitting on the side of a hill were magnificent. We spent hours sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the almost daily rainbows, sunsets and even the rain showers. We found we enjoyed eating meals outside on the lanai more than eating at restaurants. We were able to navigate the Hanalei daily road closures without impacting our activities and even though it rained everyday, the rain never affected our activities. You can't get any more convenient a location for Queen's Bath. The Princeville grocery store is convenient but you need a rental car (Uber/Lyft/taxis were in short supply). The downstairs living room worked perfectly as a 4th bedroom for us. The beach towels and other items were also appreciated and used. It did get a little warm in the late afternoon (without A/C) but the ceiling fans, coastal breeze and cool beverages overcame any discomfort. It was never too warm at bedtime. Hawaii Life Vacations really gets the vacation property management business. They provided all the details needed, required little to no follow up questions and provided suggestions and great laminated guidelines that didn't feel like lawyer written liability waivers. Bravo Hawaii Life! I was going to knock one star off this review when we found out that the hot tub was broken, but the house is just too good not to give it 5 stars. Kauai does not disappoint and Princeville is a great master planned upscale neighborhood. Enjoy!
