We stayed at the Meadows property for my dads birthday celebration and the property was perfect to accommodate all of us! We were four families with kids of all ages! The property was clean and the grounds just breathtakingly beautiful! Connie was a pleasure to deal with and was always so responsive and helpful! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

Our Retreat at the Meadows was absolutely wonderful!! The Meadows large enough for our party of 14, yet super cosy at the same time. The scenery, the grounds, the sereneness of the drive out to Castleton were all enjoyable! Castleton is an absolute beautiful property that was enjoyed by us all. It was great to take a break from our busy lives and just enjoy each other. We stayed in the Meadows home, which was clean and it fit our large family. The property manager was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Had a blast the house was amazing

We had 16 family members of all ages on this trip and everyone had a great time! There were things to do for all ages on the property. The pool, of course was a big hit and the teens loved fishing/boating at the pond. The little ones really enjoyed seeing the animals and all of the kids loved having s’mores at the firepit in the evening. The house is big enough that you can spread out into your own space if you would like. We would definitely come back to this property!

There was a ton of room for us, in the most beautiful setting! The home was well stocked with supplies. Some things in need of repair (door locks, etc) but nothing that brought down the quality of our stay. I would recommend for a good size group.

Property was very large and the views are gorgeous. I asked for a late check out but was not able to get one...even though there was no one else checking in that day. I found out from the rental agreement (that I didn't see until I checked in) that there is a fee for every 15 minutes you are late checking out. It seems like that is something that should be communicated before arrival. Overall it was very nice accommodations and I see how it would be great fun in warmer weather with the pool and pond right there.

Had a relaxing fun experience at this property with friends. Would love to visit there again. One suggestion. Please note freezer on the freezer so people wont get mistaken that for a fridge. Some of our food were frozen when it was taken out to eat.

The place was very clean and exactly as described on the posting. We very much enjoyed our stay and the many amenities!

This property is absolutely breathtaking. We had our wedding here, and my spouse and I could not have been happier with the houses and the scenery. The only thing I will say, is be prepared to rescue your guests if they get lost along the way. The directions are not overly complicated but many people lose signal along the way and have a lot of trouble finding the right house. In the end, it is absolutely worth it though. I really love this property.

We loved it. We will be back. My husband and I fell in love with the property and decided to get married there Oct 10 and bring our immediate family. We all had a wonderful time. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The size of the house was perfect for our needs (14 of us). We plan to come back every year as a family for reunions because we loved it so much. Thank you Connie and Paul for helping us pull off a last minute wedding event!

Could not recommend this venue more - if you are looking to get away with a big group of family or friends, this is the place to do it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Meadows. The house was spacious, even for our group of 12. The setting was idyllic with an “away from it all vibe”. Highly recommended!!!

We enjoyed our stay at The Meadows House in July 2020. We had 16 people, ages 8-67 from 5 families. We had plenty of sleeping space. Paul was attentive when we reached out with requests. It was nice to have the freezer and drink fridge in the garage. Also 2 washers & dryers helped when we were catching up on laundry throughout the week. The three refrigerators were great! Plenty of storage throughout the entire house, including the kitchen. We brought bikes for the paved trails but the hills are a workout. Every day we used the pool, hot tub, fishing pond, tennis courts and yard. Thanks for a great stay!

A great location for a large group of moms! The spa was an amazing addition to our stay, the house had plenty of comfortable beds, bathrooms and lots of room to spread out or hang together!

We had a great time. Very beautiful setting. Very spacious and well equipped.

This spacious home is well suited for a large group or family. It's a large home with acreage and a fishing pond. The home is very comfortable with plenty of amenities. The bedrooms and hallways are quite large. There are two separate dining rooms, one off each side of the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking items, plates, bowls, coffee mugs, and silverware. There are 3 refrigerators and a freezer. The downside is there is only 1 TV with limited Direct TV service. The décor of the home is dated, but there's nothing wrong with it. The property managers are great people who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The pool house with the steam room, sauna, are superb. If you like getting away from it all, this is a great place to consider.

Great for a big group to spend a few days with top notch amenities. Would highly recommend, Connie is an amazing and responsive host!

The house was amazing! So much bigger than pictures show. We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and it had plenty of space. The scenery was amazing and although we didn’t have our wedding here, it would have been great place. Everyone I interacted with was great and so helpful. Someone came to fix the dishwasher immediately. Would definitely stay again!!

We were a large family of 17 which included siblings, neices, nephews, cousins and grandkids from all corners of the earth and at least 5 different states attending a wedding 20 minutes away from the house. We had a wonderful time. Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the facilities to the utmost including the well kept swimming pool and a brand new jaccuzzi. What better way to bond with family!!! Highly recommended.
