Ken was great and easy to work with. The house was nice and perfect for our stay!

The home was beautiful and served all of our needs very well - the pool and hot tub were great and the porch is perfect for an outdoor dinner. Great location close to both a private beach on the lake and the public beach on the ocean, as well as several great golf courses nearby.

We had a last minute corporate retreat at this lovely Hamptons Home. In time to see the beautiful fall foliage starting, there is a nice partial view of the lake from the master bedroom balcony. Our large group was easily accommodated by the spacious rooms where each person had their own comfortable bed. The large living room with 4 couches made it easy to have our meetings in this open space. A few of us went to the beach, wine tasting and pumpkin picking all within a few minutes of the house which is only about 5 minutes from the Southampton village shops and restaurants. The kitchen has all new cookware and there is a large outdoor deck for everyone to enjoy dinner outside overlooking the pool. A quiet and peaceful setting to concentrate or vacation, I highly recommend the house and plan to select this place for our next Hamptons excursion in the spring.

We have been staying at VRBO properties since years and have had only good experiences till our stay here. The fact that we exited the property barely within 24 hours (it was booked for 3 nights 4 days) and cut short our vacation is enough to express our frustration. The issues: 1. We reached property on time on check in day but were made to wait hours as they had a furniture delivery going on and were not even allowed access to Bathroom and were told to go to a nearby tavern 2. The biggest issue - we had confirmed with owner that the pool is heated during reservation (as mentioned in the listing) and also ONE DAY before our trip. But it wasn't and considering the weather, we could not use POOL at all. We paid a premium to get a house with POOL and we could not use it. Owner tried to get some solar covers and told us that the heating is broken and he will sort it our next day. But water was so cold, even Adults could not use it - even on next day afternoon. This was the biggest issue for a family with kids. We have messages whereby we have asked and confirmed about heated pool so many times as it was important to us. 3. The property is old and basement had couple of bedrooms - out of this, one so called bedroom is just a small storage area with beds. And it was so cold in basement, that most of us had to sleep in living area on our FIRST AND ONLY night. 4. Property owner had a big list of rules, which we didn't mind. But rules like 1. if a neighbor asks, we have to say that we are friends (and not renters) 2. should not get watermelon 3. no food waste in trash bags / trash cans and it should be just thrown out in the woods - we have seen this first time in our lives and again added to our frustration. 5. IN the bedroom on top floor, some smoky/moldy substance kept coming out from the AC unit. Again, the property is very old and the owner should put a correct description before renting it out.

We had a group of 13 stayed 3 nights. Price was reasonable. Ken welcomed us and showed us around. Very friendly. Will definitely book again.

We had a group of co-workers in the Hamptons for a work assignment, renting the house for a week. It was great for our purposes, with a wonderful location and a very peaceful setting. Ken the host was very responsive and went out of his way to help us have a successful stay.

Really enjoyed my weekend in the Hamptons and Ken’s property was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. It’s great for large groups!

This property is much more rustic than luxury but is very functional with many bedrooms and bathrooms. You must provide your own linens, bathroom towels are provided, not beach towels or beach supplies. The lake is beautiful and the small beach is a 1/2 mile walk. The house comes with a kayak and canoe but the dock needs some TLC. The owner is on-site and cleans/refills the pool each day. Our family enjoyed our stay, first time being all together in many months.
