As if the Lodge at Spruce Peak wasn’t already the most convenient place to stay for quick access to the slopes, this studio is located on the first floor just a few quick steps from ski valet, the lobby, and all dining options. The room is beautiful, HUGE, and clean. Such a great option if you really want to treat yourself to a luxe ski vacation. Susan the owner was always easy to get in touch with, and you have the friendly hotel staff on hand to help once you’re there.

This was our second stay and we’re hoping to come back again. The room is great and the access to skiing can’t be beat!

The unit was lovely, as we have stayed at the lodge in a similar units many times in the past. It is on the first floor, but still has a nice mountain view. Even though we had the heat off, the unit was very warm, so we used the air conditioner when in the room. The humidifier we found in the closet was a godsend. The only problem we had was the Keurig did not work properly, and had to purchase coffee each morning, adding $50 to our stay. I tried to communicate with the owner, but could not respond on initial feed, so, since I did not have a phone number or email, I used rental requests to communicate, as it was my only option. I was sternly reprimanded by the owner for doing so twice. If I were provided a way to communicate without doing so, I would have. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Central location on the first floor. Easy to valet, pool, stores, ice…

The property was very clean and had a beautiful view of Mount Mansfield. Basic toiletries were provided but would recommend bringing your own dish soap and sponge for doing dishes as needed. Overall had a great stay it's important to note though that we traveled here during the off-season so the gondola to Mount Mansfield was closed and the village shops and restaurants were all closed with the exception of the beanery. Everything in town was open though and there are shops and restaurants nearby. You also will need to use the valet service or pay by the hour in a privately owned lot in the back of the property. Valet is included, but you do need to tip every time you ask for your car or drop it off.

This rental was great. Close to front desk, ski valet and pool. Very good communication with owner. Make arrangements for a baby crib in advance, not available at hotel.

The property and the resort were great.

I will admit we splurged a bit and spent more for the location, but it was well worth it especially with the variable conditions we had while visiting. We made use of the board games that you could check out from front desk during a rainy day / bad conditions day. Susan was super responsive and helpful and would recommend this accommodation for anybody that wants to be right at the base of Spruce Peak.

The room was as described and spotless when we arrived. Everything we needed was just steps away. The Ski Valet service was by far our favorite perk. Although we were near the entrance and the main hallway, no outside noise could be heard. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owner, who was very accommodating. All in all, we had a very relaxing week.

Perfect spot in Stowe, so glad we found it. The resort and the unit were exactly as advertised. Little snag with check in (booking was not sent to the resort itself) but front desk assistant smoothly resolved the issue. Strongly recommend this location!

We visited during a perfect time when the fall foliage was peaking. This place was in a perfect picturesque setting. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Views from patio of the mountains were great! We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at this property before but this unit was unmatched!! Great location and so well equipped!! Wonderful owner who was so responsive and went above and beyond- perfect weekend!

The studio unit was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The view from the patio was also beautiful. We used the pool and hot tub despite the rain. Food and services at the resort were scarce, as many were closed or hours stated were not true. The room service option was frustrating and a waste of money at best. However, we enjoyed our stay and would go back but would bring more snacks and breakfast food.

Although the weather didn’t cooperate, cold and off and on rain, the resort still put on a great fireworks show, with DJ, food, etc. We hadn’t had this much fun with the kids in a while. We got in some hiking and a gondola ride while also enjoying the local restaurants and fabulous beers. The resort is amazing and can’t wait to go back again.

Everything was smooth and easy. Didn’t realize we’d have so little autonomy with our car, luggage and skis since EVERYTHING was valeted

Really enjoyed our stay here. Super convenient for skiing -- right around the corner from the rental shop and ski valet. We also really appreciated the valet parking for our car. Everyone who we interacted with in the resort was super nice. The mini kitchen was small but useful for our short trip; microwave, small gas stovetop, kettle, keurig coffee machine, and mini dishwasher. Bathroom is large with a separate water closet, shower, bath, and double vanities. Overall a great stay and will definitely return!
