I found the owner's communications to be very straightforward and easy to follow. The check-in process was very smooth. The house is beautiful and well stocked with all the items needed for a great vacation with 3 very active boys aged 10-13. The house was incredibly clean as well. We sat in the screened in porch every morning with our coffee. Our boys loved the upstairs loft area. We enjoyed all of the amenities in the community including, the pools, nature walk, fishing piers, gym, paddle boards/kayaks, and 4th of July programming. We spent time in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Lewes...all were convenient to the location. We look forward to returning for years to come and possibly investing in the community!

House was beautiful, clean, well-appointed. We really enjoyed the porch & patio. The bikes were a great addition as we used them to explore the entire Peninsula property. Very relaxing, people are friendly, the views & wildlife are wonderful. Clay was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely gets our 5 star rating.

We spent 5 days at Clay's property for my kids' Spring Break, and it was perfect! We had enough room to spread out in the house, plus we took advantage of so many amenities, including daily trips to the indoor pool, nature trail walks and biking in the community, and watching movies indoors on our one rainy day. And we were close enough to visit Assateage State Park to see the wild ponies, Rehoboth Beach to do outlet shopping, and Lewes Beach to visit the Cape Henlopen State Park Seaside Nature Center. We packed in a lot in 5 days!

A beautiful home in a beautiful setting with many, many amenities. Walking trails, beautiful bay, bicycles, pool, and the list goes on. We could have stay on the property and been entertained the entire vacation. Clay was excellent to work with, too. Excellent experience.

What can I say…5’s across the board! This was a beautiful home that had all of the amenities and small touches that are usually overlooked. My family and I have stayed in several rentals up and down the east coast and this one is at the top of our list. The Peninsula is a beautiful gated community and the residents were all so warm and welcoming. The drive to the beach and outlets was about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Clay was a dream to work with. I will definitely book again when returning to the Delaware beach area. This rental property is a keeper!

The house was beautiful and so clean. Clay was wonderful to work with. He was extremely communicative from the time we booked to the time we checked out (and even after, since we accidentally left a call phone there 🙄)! We knew what to bring, what would be provided, and what rules we needed to follow. Even the beach gear and bikes were great!!

The Peninsula is a perfect destination for both families and adults.
This particular house is large and airy, and has all the amenities you could possibly wish for - nice kitchen, two common sitting areas with tv's, tv's in large bedrooms, barbeque grill, fire pit, great views in the backyard, bikes, floaties, etc.
The host is friendly and responsive, and goes the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant experience.

I brought my son, his friend, my mother, brothers and a niece on vacation. We had an amazing time. The house is great. Owner, Clay, is friendly and helpful. My son learned to ride one of the many bikes available. We swam in the wave & indoor pools, ate at both restaurants, walked the nature trail, went kayaking a few times, (have 2 of my own & rented 1 here) we biked everywhere as a family, had s’mores at the outdoor fireplace, went to rehobeth beach and enjoyed splash mountain water park/go-carts at ocean city Maryland. There is enough to do to suit everyone and many places close by or even just to stay in the community. Wonderful find!

This property is in a great location. From here we were easily able to explore using the provided bikes and enjoyed visiting the fishing pier, beach, nature trails, and clubhouse. The open living / kitchen area is a nice feature as is the deck bordering the golf course.

This is our 3rd stay at this property! The house is beautiful, clean and perfect for our family. We love to take advantage of the amenities! Everyday was started with a bike ride! We fit in Pickle Ball, golf, indoor pool, basketball court, relaxing down by the pier after our bike rides. We even enjoyed dinner after golf at the beautiful club house. A great place for an active family or just relaxing and making S’mores over the fire pit! Hope to come back again next year! Thank you Clay!

My son was getting married close by. Our families rented two homes together. Perfect stay. Inviting all the extras included wish I stayed a few extra days just to relax. I had main bedroom downstairs and all the others upstairs. Amenities to make your stay perfect included. Close to everything. By far the best vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. D

We were at The Peninsula for a family reunion, so we didn’t spend much time in this house. I would have loved to have— it’s super comfortable, with high quality furnishings and the kitchen is equipped for you to cook ANYTHING!

This was our second stay at one of Clay's properties and it was wonderful. The house was beautiful, stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the beach cruisers, fire pit, and DVD collection. Clay was great with communication! We'll be back next year.

Wonderful stay.
Home is in a great gated community with a fabulous golf course and club house. There are also many other golf courses to play which were close by (and we played them!). Home is wonderful for families and older adults. Community has wonderful facilities - gym, locker rooms, indoor pool and outdoor pools for both adults and wave pool for kids. Definitely a 10+

This is our second stay at this property. Our first stay was so nice, we had our adult children join us this time. The house is immaculate but cozy. There are great amenities in the community, which kept our your adult kids and us very busy. It is only a short drive to the beach, shopping, and places to eat. The club house is a great place to have dinner, with great service and great food. And our host is always so helpful and efficient! Thank you for another great stay and great memories!

Delaware Heaven
We really enjoyed our time at The Peninsula. Clay was very responsive to any questions we had and the home is beautiful and a perfect place to unwind.
The community is well kept with access to the water and different nature trails. The weather didn't cooperate while we were visiting but we still had a lovely time in large part to the quality of the home and the beauty of area.
We'd love to come back and would recommend this location to anyone who wants to relax and unwind.

Phenomenal stay
Simply put: we loved this beautiful home! This home is truly a home away from home. Great location on the golf course, great furniture, wonderful layout. This house has everything you need and more, including bikes! The clubhouse food was reasonably priced and was delicious. We absolutely love the Peninsula, as there is so much to do! Lastly, I have been renting vacation homes for over 15 years and I must say that the owner, Clay, is the nicest, most personable owner that I have ever met. We are looking forward to renting from him again!

This property was in a great location in a resort community with a lot of amenities.
Clay is a wonderful host and a pleasure to work with. He was always available and would respond quickly either by email or text. The house was perfect for our extended Easter vacation. The open layout made it easy to entertain indoors and the back patio was ideal for relaxing in the sun and watching the golfers. The fire pit was an added bonus during the chilly evenings There were plenty of bikes for all of our guests and several walking paths around the community. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent from Clay again in the future.

Perfect Delaware Getaway!
This home is located in an amenity-rich community with a view of the golf course. The neighborhood is well-kept. Beautiful landscaping and we loved all of the red tulips. The house is also just a few steps from a lovely nature trail. We loved the bay beach in the neighborhood and enjoyed an osprey sighting as well as babies in a nest. Great set up for families with kids with an upstairs loft and tv area as well as 4 bunk beds and plenty of bikes. Just book and enjoy!

Fantastic Getaway
We had a nice long weekend at Clay’s property. He was great to deal with. Very communicative, thoughtful, and accommodating.
The property was one of the nicest we’ve every stayed in. Our young boys really enjoyed all of the things to do in the house (video arcade games), the board games, and the TVs. We also really enjoyed the amenities. We went on a couple of walks on the trails around the community as well as the trail by the nature center. The activities center was fun too, where we swam and played pickle ball.
We recommend the property and Clay as a great owner to work with.

Just Perfect
I decided to take my two boys (17 and 21) and my mom away over Spring break. I am so thankful I chose this gorgeous home. I wanted a place with on site amenities. This place exceeded my expectations. First of all, the house is super cozy, sparkling clean, and has everything you will need and more. My boys loved the game system and all of the DVDs. We played games, watched movies, and cooked many delicious meals. The area is quiet and safe. We enjoyed the nature trail, the amenities at the club house (pool, hot tub, air hockey, ping pong, mini golf, and more). The house owner Clay was so helpful and very nice to work with. Thank you for everything. We created the best memories. I cannot wait to return someday.

This house was by far the best rental yet! The house is well stocked with lots of kitchen features, plenty of entertainment options, and we loved the fire pit. Plenty of room for all and very nicely decorated. The owner is easy to get a hold of for questions as well. The amenities in the development really make this property stand out. We will definitely rent again from Clay!

An exceptional Getaway!
The property and its location were exceptional! We were on the fourth Tee on the beautiful golf course at the Peninsula, which is a gated community. The grounds and the neighborhood were quiet, but a lot of fun at the same time, There were bikes to ride and many trails within the grounds to explore. Clay made suggestions for restaurants and golf which were great...
We enjoyed every minute of our four day getaway and would definitely recommend this property!!!
