Good location, lodging adequate, owner was upfront and honest saying it’s his personal residence as well. we had the unfortunate luck of staying when he had a big group of people and since his residence was above us we heard them for the entire six day trip. Creaking floorboards, loud talking, they used the pool and hot tub more than we did. No privacy at all plus loud people around. Very inconsiderate.

My family and I stayed at the property for a week and we had a great time. We had to wait an extra hour to check in while the house was readied but once we checked in the house was very clean & well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the pool and view were very nice. We were very happy with our stay in this home.

We had a great stay! The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice and clean. The hot tub was hot and clean. We had plenty of room, the kitchen was nice and it was clean, and had everything you needed. The water and dryer was nice and useful. The lender was kind and attentive. The location was close to anything we went to and opposite of all traffic. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing view, nice sized pool, very clean. BBQ and kitchen were so nice to make meals outside. More than enough beds and they are extremely comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is very private. Propped on a hillside overlooking the Mount Helix area. It feels like exclusive living. Awesome views of the surrounding hillside homes straight from your poolside deck. The house itself is clean, modern, private from the surrounding homes, and quiet in the evenings. Jeff was available for all questions and very easy to communicate with. We would consider staying here again for certain.

Felt like home away from home. It was awesome to start our day with a dip in pool or hot tub, then go play and explore San Diego and then come back and relax with a swim, outdoor shower, grill and movie before falling out! Super comfortable home and plenty of rooms and space for us all.

We had a wonderful time at Jeff’s home. There was plenty of room for everyone and the home was stocked with everything we needed. Beds were super-comfy too! Pictures don’t do it justice.

We looked forward to the pool & hot tub, but “southern California weather” was not cooperative at all. House was located in nice spot; 20 minutes from everything; zoo, city of San Diego, seaport, Del Coronado Hotel. Would stay there again for sure!

We came to San Diego for our sons graduation from MCRD bootcamp , Jeff was amazing with answering my questions and I had a lot of them!! He was very accommodating our arrival and departure times, offering to allow me to ship items directly to his house to save precious cargo space for our sons other needs. The views were breathtaking, sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee was amazing. While he lives on property he respects the space and seems to always appear when he is needed. Our favorite part was being able to relax in the hot tub after a long, emotional day. Grocery store is close by and the drive to MCRD was not bad at all when you compare the views here to the city. My mom who has had back surgeries said she hasn't slept this well in a long time, the beds are amazing. Thanks for a great stay and if we come back this way we will definitely rebook.

Jeffrey is a nice guy and very accommodating. The view was great! There was some minor construction, but this was not an issue. We could have used soap and tissue in the bathrooms. The house worked well for the size of our group, but could have been a bit much for a larger group with the majority of the beds in two rooms. Again, the dining room table worked well for use, but would have been a challenge for a larger group. The hot tub was only warm, but is available for us during Covid. Overall, I would recommend this house for a family.

Jeffrey was an amazing host! He very nice and sociable. His Property is extremely nice and well kept, lights on the patio, outdoor seating and dining...what more can you ask for. Endless views from the Patio so you can just sit out, have a drink or enjoy the company. i recommend this place if you are ever looking to be in a peaceful area of SD. me and my party will definitely be keeping this place in mind next time we decide to take another trip out. Great location and view! The place was nicely decorated, cleaned, and organized. We were a party of 9 and we had plenty of space for everyone. The pool and patio area was very enjoyable. We had to share with other guests staying in the other rental but we gave each other space and it wasn’t a big deal. We highly recommend it. Jeff (owner) would check to see if everything was good but was not overwhelming, he made us feel comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

This property is beautifully kept. Scenic fruit trees, gardens, and a bbq and swimming area. Looking up at Mount Helix were how most evenings were spent. Close proximity to Sunset beach and the beautiful Coronado beach. So much to do.

Jeffrey was a wonderful host. His property was very clean and the views were spectacular of Mt Helix. We used the deck every day. We enjoyed our 4 month stay so much we have already booked for this November. Property is very centrally located to all the sights we wanted to see. Give this property a 5 star rating. Marge & Marv
