Love the location, been before a number of times, if you love the ex-naval maritime setting, boats, the sea and the mix of architecture and varied eateries, you'll love it. This apartment was in a great location overlooking the central basin, it's not cheap, but you're paying for the view and experience.

The property needs a bit of a revamp to be fair, it's obviously been very well used, but the fixtures and fitings are in need of some attention, a number of items need attention to remain servicable and or need bringing up to a better standard.

I was a bit upset as this company charge £30.00 for late arrival and also a deposit of £150.00 not sure why when you spend £459.00. Then you have to wait after you have left and chase this up. Property was not luxurious as was made out. The sofa had marks on it and also a rip and it did smell as well. The bathroom the bath had black marks where it’s old. There was no power in the bedroom and was frightened to call as this is another fee of £35.00 if they say it was not urgent. I spent my two days there in fear of what else they would charge me for. It was a shame as I went with a family member who lives in Plymouth and I had never been so it did spoil my stay. Will not be using this company again as it was all about money for me. Hence my review

The whole experience

Great location, nice modern apartment

Much more admin required than a normal stay in a managed apartment. Inconvenience of collecting and returning keys from a city centre location not at the property. Also inconvenience of paying a deposit and waiting 7-10 days for it to be returned.

Location of property was good. The property was well equipped and on the whole very comfortable.

On booking the property apparently i should of received a e-mail with information as to where collect keys however I didn't receive such e-mail. When I eventually found the property on a cold wet very dark Sunday evening I was unable to access the building. I found a contact number only to be told I had to drive to another location to collect the keys and someone would meet me as soon as possible. So 'How long is As Soon As Possible'!! 5 mins 10 mins an hour 2 hour. The answer to this question is 'I'll be there as soon as possible sir'. Apparently the member of staff was out on a emergency call out and didn't know how long she was going to be. What good is that to me !! Ive just drove 350 miles, spent a full day at Derriford hospital for a emergency family matter and as it stands have no where sleep. I did drive to the collection point and eventually did collect the keys. I found the experience extremely stressfull and would like some kind of compensation.
