I loved waking up to a lovely view of the ocean each morning. Having our own deck was really nice as well as having a BBQ in the deck. The resort was well situated so that it was a not far from a lot of things we wanted to do without being in the crowded areas of Laguna beach or San Clemente beach where it was noisy, hard to get around and find parking or a place on the beach. The resort was located in the perfect spot for us. The beach was right across the street with nothing to obstruct our view. The noise of the Amtrak train was not a problem as long as the sliding doors were kept closed. The bedroom is situated in the back of the unit which also helped with any noise from the street. The unit was clean and the perfect size for our use. Our only complaint is that the sales people tried to sell us on the resort during check-in and then again through a phone call on another day. We understand that they need to do their work, however, it should have been noted during check in that we were not interested. We would most certainly stay there again in the future if the need arises!

The doors to the rooms could have sealed a little tighter and you could see light all around the frame and hear any noise in the hallway. The employees were not very friendly.

Did not know property was being upgraded until I received the confirmation. Was told power might be out from 12-5 on Saturday because the city was doing work. Had an ocean front room with balcony that I could not enjoy as there was a generator running 24/7 that was really loud. At checkout was asked about my stay. Told them I paid good money to listen to a Generator 24/7. Response was “you were lucky to have power.” Not impressed. And the WiFi was extremely slow. Got a call from front desk offering a free lunch - thought maybe compensation for generator - it was to attend a sales presentation. The location was great. You are on the Pacific Coast Highway and have the vehicle noise, but that’s nothing compared to the generator noise.
