A wonderful place to stay! Clean and cozy with something for everyone! We will definitely be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay for our MOMS Club retreat! Rose and Brian were extremely nice and helpful and eager to make sure our stay was perfect. The rooms were clean, organized, and very comfy! We'll most likely stay again in the summer/spring time to be able to utilize everything their property has to offer! Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality!

We LOVE this house! We come down from the Cleveland area with 6 adults and 6 kids! Both groups have their own space. Also, I swear this house is almost soundproof. No matter what room you’re in, it feels like you have your own space. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked and Rose has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and special! You will NOT regret renting this place!

My extended had a great time at Mt Pleasant Lodge - Rose was an amazing host and we would definitely return in spring/summer to better utilize the outdoor space they provide! The house was wonderful and we loved the extra nice touch of the holiday decorations! 5 stars!

This was a perfect get away for our family. Its a few days of relaxing and enjoying family time. The cabin is very very clean and well supplied. It is very spacious. Rose is a perfect host. Everything was beyond our expectations. We have already booked for next year. Can't wait.

This cabin was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. The house has many amenities! It was very clean, the kitchen was the most fully stocked house that I ever stayed in (and I love to cook), beds were very comfortable, beach towels were supplied for the hot tub, Rose the owner had excellent communication and even made me a personalized birthday gift and cookies upon arrival, and we were even able to park in the garage! I would stay here again for sure! Oh and the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays, which was so nice and homey.

Beautiful. The place was perfect. Everyone had something to do all the time. We never felt crowded. Rose is a wonderful host. All of us cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. To get 5 siblings & their families to want to do this again is truly amazing.

This is the second year that we have stayed here and Rose and Brian just have the most amazing place in every aspect.They treat you like family! They go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is the best experience in more ways than you could ever expect! The place is just like home and was so beautifully decorated for Fall. The location is private yet not far from anything you might want to do in the area. They are great with communicating and they make sure you have everything that you will need and more! I would recommend staying here to everyone that asks, and have done so already! This truly is the perfect getaway! We are definitely already looking at staying here next year once again!

This place was so much fun for our family. Loved the fire ring, the game room and the spacious kitchen. Highly recommended!!!!

This was our second time as a group at the lodge, and once again had no complaints! The property, customer service, and cleanliness were amazing!

We had a great time visiting Mount Pleasant Lodge. The property was clean, communication with the hosts was excellent and the lodge was very well stocked. All of the extras were greatly appreciated- cookies, drinks and a good supply of toiletries. Our kids loved the zipline, air hockey, ping pong and video games. The adults enjoyed the disc golf and hammocks. We would definitely return to any of Rose's properties for future stays! Thanks so much for sharing your place with us for the week!

The moment we pulled in the driveway we were all super excited. It literally looks like a scene from a movie. The house was very welcoming and very clean. Property was very nicely maintained. Our family truly enjoyed themselves. Thank you for a special weekend getaway

Your Family Place was exactly that! Something for everyone! Very clean, stocked well, plenty of room,great outdoor area! The firepit was a great hit. Comfortable Adirondack chairs on a cemented area around it. S'mores were given to us by the owners!The family enjoyed the hot tub! Game room in basement, but the weather was great, so we didn't use it much. A short hiking path led back to the swingset.Secluded enough, but also close enough to Amish, if you want to shop.

Wonderful property and location. Had everything we needed and more!

The beds were comfortable. The property is well maintained. There are lots of amenities to keep the family entertained. Its also very private. The internet wasn’t very powerful and isn’t adequate for working remotely but we were able to get streaming to the television. Overall a great place to unplug and relax with family.

We absolutely loved our stay. Robin is very hands on with this beautiful cabin and would recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to staying at the Mt Pleasant cabin again.

We had 9 adults and 1 infant in our extended family 3 day stay and loved every minute!! Rose’ hospitality is unmatched with very diligent communication from the initial booking through checkout. The property is well secluded yet close enough to commodities and the interstate. The interior is decorated well and more games than we could use in our short stay. The kitchen is equipped extremely well for a large family stay with plates/cups and even electric griddle and plenty of coffee/spices more than I’ve ever seen at a rental!! All beds were comfy and the room layout worked great for 4 couples with an infant and a single person. the patio is equipped with grill and beautiful composite 10 seat table/chairs and very adequate for dinners. The only improvement we could think of were the door latches throughout the property are somewhat difficult to operate, but are very cabin like and contribute to the decor well. We’re already planning to stay again soon!!

We had the best stay! The hostess was AMAZING and answered all questions. The house was so clean and so much fun. The outdoor space was perfect for evenings and the basement was great for the kids and adults 😊 would recommend to anyone!

Such hospitality and activities for everyone! The optional add-ons of locally sourced goodies allowed us to support the community, and especially allowed us to savor not just the flavors, but the time spent on property together making wonderful memories! Nothing is better than the gift of family and that was exactly how we spent my husband’s birthday weekend! We have always enjoyed time spent in Ohio Amish Country and I found this beautiful gem on the VRBO site. After reading reviews, I felt this was the perfect place for our family weekend and perfect it was! From the moment I reserved, Rose became the “Alexa” of hosts. Every message or text sent to her was always immediately answered. She was extremely informative and always gracious in her responses. She accommodated our early check in request without hesitation to help make our weekend perfect! The house couldn’t have been any nicer. It is beautiful inside and out. It felt like staying at someone’s amazing home- not a rental at all. There are so many personal touches provided. We also enjoyed the scenic wooded acres and fire pit and all felt we wished we could live here! The house was extremely family friendly with so many activities for the children and adults alike. I ordered a few food options and Rose personally shopped and had everything in the fridge for arrival. She even left us the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. (None of those made it home-lol!) I could go on and on. I hope we are able to make this a yearly family trip. In the words of our 2 year granddaughter, “This is Dee Dee’s Birthday House!”

The cabin is very comfortable and spacious. There are plenty of activities indoor and out. The disc golf course we a huge hit for our group. Property was clean and well stocked with everything you need to relax.

I can't say enough good things about this property and the owner/management. This lodge is stocked extremely well with whatever you might need, and then some! It's beautiful inside and out, as well as the property it located on. The hot tub is in excellent condition. Plenty of room for lots of guests. The host is amazing. Very attentive and provided special touches that we just adored. She is also very knowledgeable about the area from activities to restaurants and is happy to recommend the best ones. We would stay here again.

Our stay at Mt Pleasant Lodge was simply amazing! What a beautiful place. The lodge was very clean, well maintained and just gorgeous. Rose was, by far, the nicest host we have ever encountered, going above and beyond. She was accessible and easy to communicate with. She even had her husband drop off balloons and cookies when she found out we were celebrating a 35th wedding anniversary. We had an unforgettable experience. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Mt. Pleasant Lodge exceeded our expectations. If I could give it more than five stars I would. We take an annual girls weekend getaway and by far this has been the best stay we've had. The location was secluded but still close to things to do. If you want to stay in or on the property there's plenty of activities to choose from. It was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. We felt right at home here. All the extra touches and little details really made a difference. Rose was a wonderful host and a pleasure to communicate with. We'll definitely be back!

Mt Pleasant Lodge was a “holiday home” that was far beyond our expectations! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate an early Christmas with our family. The beautiful remote location, the extremely clean and comfortable home, along with an awesome host, Rose, who took care of our every need. The Christmas decorations, cookies, hot chocolate mix and marshmallows were the icing on the cake!

The Lodge was everything we anticipated and more. Rose was an excellent host who put in the extra effort to decorate for the holidays. It really made our groups gift exchange so special to have the lodge so festive. We cannot wait to book again!
