The room was nicely equiped and nice.

The position in indistry area is noisy. The surroundings smells bad. You can run air con for whole day or enjoy noise and smell from the street.

I really liked the room itself. Really modern, very clean, comfortable. Place was safe and Carolina, the person checking me in was great -- super responsive and helpful! And I got a free bottle of Prosecco with the room which was a great touch!

If you are using this as a base to visit Cinque Terre (the 5 villages in particular, not just the area), then I didn't find it very convenient. The hotel is about 20 mins away from the train station -- but buses are not always frequent, especially later at night and on weekends. Once I took a taxi form the train station, which was 15 Euro. There is also no real common area.

Nice flat with air condition.

Super clean. Air conditioning available. Parking for free directly in front of the apartment at the street. Minibar (not free) available. Lift for heavy luggage available. House has video surveillance. The host was very helpful with local tips, provided a map and a pdf with some recommendations. Hotel like feeling.

Don’t expect to much from the breakfast. For the location it’s a little bit outside the center so you need a car or you can go with the bus to travel it stops nearby.

The new modern design. In the room and in the bathroom. The bed was great even if it was metallic and not the best choice to sit against the wall, watching TV. Big room, with lot of space. Tv was nice. Water and tee in first day from the house. Minibar with nice basic choices (local beer, juice, coke zero, water. and salty pretzels and sweet biscuits). If you arrive late in the evening, you will receive the access codes in the building and in the rooms/room (first floor) and it's easy to check in. The staff (Carolina or her brother, Giuliano) is always connected with you and you can ask for help via WhatsApp all the time. They provide indications and advices if needed. Or if you have a problem with the room they will fix it right away or they will provide all their efforts. Our room was facing the main street but if you close the window there is not a lot of noise. Bus station in front of the building (also ticket shop for the bus). Good connection with the center, train station and also Lerici or Porto Venere, 2 nice small towns close to La Spezia. 30 min walk until the city center and 40 till the train station. The bathroom was nice with everything working great. 2 problems: no window and very small shower cabin. Free parking in the area. more exactly, is free anywhere in the area where you find a parking place (of course, within common sense). also in front of the building are 3 spots or across the street.

First night, at the arrival, it was difficult to find due to the gps and the fact that we arrived at 1 o'clock in the night and the building is a regular living building, with café and other shops downstairs (closed, no lights) and the sign for Maeli Rooms was quite small. The building is right across the industrial port and it seems not the most friendly area but we walked all around the area especially in the night and it was ok. The walk from the city center is half nice, half on this "normal" street but safe and ok. The breakfast means 1 voucher for 1 coffee, 1 juice and 1 croissant (or empty focaccia). You can use this voucher at the café downstairs (Genuina) or another one close, Sabrina. Both have great coffee and pastries. In Genuina, in the second day, we had to explain to the lady what it says on the voucher. Even is a very poor breakfast in quantity and choices, at least is nice quality and also you can use the voucher all day long, not only before 10. At least for us was no problem. Big problem for me: very small shower cabin. Very small. It was a disaster for me. I am 1,80 m and 120kg but I believe it will be difficult for all normal/bigger men. No window for the bathroom. Even if I choose this accommodation due to the photos of the rooms and bathroom but probably we had bad luck and got the only room without the window at the bathroom. Very big problem: noise from other rooms and hallway. You can hear the others but the worse is that you hear a strong noise while they are using the shower. So until late in the night is difficult to sleep. Also, as the others said, the door from the apartment/floor is very noisy when is closing. So you can forget the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Very important: let the cleaning lady to clean the room everyday. Overall, did not felt like it was a great value for the money. We went in a very busy period so it was quite expensive and we felt that is not worth it. .

The room is quite new and the breakfast is in a bakery next to the entrance door. You get a ticket and can go there and have a croissant, coffee and juice whenever you want. Quite nice ! There is a free parking right in front of the building.

The location is far away from the center so don’t miss the bus (not possible to be sure whether it will pass by or not).

The room was more than great, super modern and the host had a great eye for details, as you can see in the photos. The breakfast is much more than described so that was a very pleasant surprise. We kept bumping into Giuliano around the city and every time he had a story or a free coffee for us. He made us feel very welcomed.

I loved the modern apartment, host, free parking, great breakfast however the location is a bit outside the city centre. We were too lazy to drive so we were walking around 25 min until the centre but to be honest the exercise was more than welcomed.

Very clean bedroom and bathroom and all the useful tipps from the host. Last but not least: delicious coffee at breakfast.
