Last minute booking based on price, location and reviews. It did not disappoint. Room was so clean, beautifully decorated and quiet. We did have to climb several flights of stairs but not a problem for us. Location was superb as only 3 minutes from Warren St tube station so could easily get around London. It was a Sunday so pub entrance closed on arrival but we were met by a very friendly member of staff.

no water in the room and the room was up 4 flights of stairs with no lift - they had already told us that though, so no surprise and made sure we got our steps in!

The staff was exceptionally helpful. There was a train strike, helped me to cancel Dover because I could not get there. Found another place for me to stay because they were full. Helped me to buy train ticket the next day online. Everyone was so kind and always full of information when asked.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Pub was nice and the food there was excellent. Location was close to the tube and it was easy to get too. The a/c was great which was nice as it was extremely hot.

The things we didn't love were all noted by the hotel. There are lots of stairs but we knew that from the description. We could hear the people above us walking around that was a bit annoying but it was in the morning and didn't harm our sleep.

I was staying here for a night before catching the Eurostar - I thought it would be nice to treat myself to a decent hotel. Well this was more than decent. Lovely, comfortable, quiet room in an extremely convenient location. Would highly recommend staying here over any of the station hotels if you need a hotel near Euston or King's Cross/St Pancras. It was extremely hot during my stay, making the air conditioning - which actually worked and was easy to use, unlike many places I've stayed in - an enormous relief. Great to have Netflix on the TV. Also nice little touches like including soy milk as well as dairy milk with the tea and coffee, with the option to call down for fresh milk too. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to people I know.

The rooms are up several flights of narrow stairs, so not suitable for anyone with physical accessibility needs and it was difficult getting my case upstairs - they do make that clear when booking though. I couldn't get the Nespresso machine to work, but that was probably my fault and not theirs!
