Wir wurden freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen. Leider konnten die Mitarbeiterinnen uns NICHT das Zimmer zuweisen, dass wir bei „BookingCom“ gebucht hatten. Wir schauen beim Buchen nach Zimmern mit großen Fenstern, Genau deswegen haben wir uns für Marriott entschieden. Wir bekamen aber ein Zimmer mit kleinem Fenster, das entsprechend dunkel war. Also das was wir nicht gebucht hätten. - SIEHE FOTOS -
We look for rooms with large windows when booking, which is exactly why we chose Marriott.
However, we were given a room with a small window, which was correspondingly dark. In other words, what we wouldn't have booked. How can it be that you post a photo on "Booking" that is absolutely not what I get?

Comfy bed and great location in the city centre
The hotel was very expensive for what it was. The bathroom in particular was dated and in poor condition. Communal areas were also looking a little worn and the lift system was stupid, often causing long waits to get down (with no stairs option). I expected much more for the premium price we paid.

Parkeer tarief wat hoog, 40 euro per dag en nog 15 euro dat er plek beschikbaar was. Er was genoeg ruimte dus die 15 euro was wat overdreven

Prachtig hotel, midden in het centrum. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Kamers zijn mooi en schoon.
Kleinigheid: Tijdens de Gentse feesten is het slim om oordopjes mee te nemen, want de muziek was binnen nog iets te horen. Met oordoppen in prima geslapen.

Gostamos muito do design do hotel que mistura modernidade em seu onterior com uma fachada tradicional. As instalações sao muito boas, os quartos excelentes e os funcionários foram bastante simpáticos e atenciosos conosco.
Não temos queixa de nenhum aspecto.

De locatie is echt super. Echt midden in Gent.
De kamers waren goed, maar het is toch wel gedateerd mogen wel een verfrissing veel donker hout.
en dan is €250/300 zonder ontbijt erg veel geld.

La habitación es grande y muy cómoda. A pesar de estar diseñado como un auditorio de modo que todas las habitaciones dan a un patio central, la habitación es silenciosa. El desayuno es fabuloso con panes de distintos tipos, opciones dulces y saladas y zumos. Se pueden alquilar paraguas en el mismo hotel por 2eur. El personal es muy amable y la ubicación es excelente!
El aire acondicionado/calefacción hacia bastante ruido y había que apagarlo para poder dormir por la noche.

Eye gouging prices on parking and buffet breakfast for guests. I feel like guest should not be penalized for wanting to bring their car, free parking should be the norm like in the US.

Todo: la situación, la habitación grande, limpia y cómoda, con todo lo necesario (hasta plancha y tabla de plancha), las instalaciones, el desayuno y la amabilidad del personal. Repetiría, sin duda.

Excellent location. Ghent, for us, has only two big city blocks that are truly beautiful. This hotel sits right in one of them. It's all you'd expect from Marriott: roomy, clean, comfortable... Nothing that we didn't like, during our stay.

The 4th floor didn't have an ice machine. Staff in training had me check other floors because they were unaware of a working machine. They should have known.

the hotel was in the perfect central location close to all the sights as well restaurants and bars.
the drawers in the room were not right some wonky, some would open but not close properly, not a big deal but they should be looked at

Location is great and the hotel is accessible and easy to use the parking underneath.
I wish it had kept a little more of the character of the old town rather than the big glass and concrete standard. I have seen Marriott hotels that kept more mindful to that.

We could not find yr hotel throught the navigation system, took a long time and we tried 2 times and finally went first to a carpark. somebody of the hotel showed us lateron the place.
