Fantastische locatie! Kleine maar zeer mooie en praktische kamer. Minibar en fles wijn inbegrepen. Vriendelijk personeel. Fantastisch ontbijt. Niet de goedkoopste kamer, maar zeer zeker de moeite waard.

Trap kan een probleem zijn, maar het personeel helpt met het dragen van de koffers.

來到根特絕對值得入住的地方！ 房間就像他的名字，窗簾拉開就是河景，從白天看到晚上也不會膩。除了極致的景觀，這裡有著超越五星級的服務，非常熱情的店家。 你可以提前寄放行李，而我們中午抵達時已經可以入住，店家幫我們扛行李箱上樓，並招待我們飲品及美味的點心們。隔天退房時也幫我們扛行李下樓，真的很感謝，他們說台灣來的人總是扛著大行李箱🤣 最後是美食！彷彿吃不完的美食！房間準備了一瓶紅酒、膠囊咖啡們、茶包們及巧克力們，打開冰箱還有氣泡水、可樂芬達及兩瓶當地啤酒。 而早餐會在入住時讓你填寫各種食材的數量，很克制的我們都寫一份來嘗試看看，最後還是吃到胃滿出來，吃到一半還有一份蛋料理可以選，超飽！而且每一項都很好吃！各種的火腿、起司、優格，美味的鮭魚，水果也都很甜，很想打開果醬及Nutella來吃，但是真的吃不下🥹 如果還有機會來根特，絕對會再來入住❤️

Brilliant breakfast. Comfy bed, free drinks and snacks, which was unexpected.

It was great, but a bit tricky booking the breakfast as the relevant restaurant was closed. The stairs are difficult to get up to the 3rd floor, but you can get help with luggage, though we didn't have any.

Great character room with superb views! The host Bie was so good to us and looked after us perfectly. The boys in the bar were super as well! Breakfast was very special as well!

Wonderful breathtaking accommodation

We loved the view from our room, every historical sight. Cute and cozy, although it was up a very steep set of steps. The breakfast was wonderful served on the beautiful terrace on the canal. The owner was wonderful.

Steep steps to third floor room

The location is exceptional. Heart of the old town with great views and atmosphere. Easy to pop back for sun lotion, to fill water or for facilities. Super breakfast by the river. Comfortable bed.

Slight panic when there was no answer on either phone number when we arrived around half an hour late at 8pm. (Was just a slightly nerve wracking 10 minute wait for the door to be opened). The WiFi didn’t work for us in the first floor room, but phone signal was good enough to watch iplayer etc.

Our stay at Rooms With A View was fantastic. Everything exceeded our expectations. The view is stunning and the location is unparalleled right in the center of the old city. The room is very comfortable. The staff and owner go above and beyond, always smiling and with kind attentions. And the breakfast! It was just exceptional, for the large selection of fresh products, the service and the quiet setting near the water. We will for sure stay again next time we are in Ghent. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.

The location in Ghent is ideal. We were in Room 1 and were wowed by our view…Bie and Pascal definitely named their “hotel” accurately. There is a stunning view from every window; canals, bridges and historic buildings seemed to have been strategically built around us. We were also thrilled that when the windows are opened, the city and neighborhood sounds as well as the natural breeze intermingle, but as soon as we closed the windows in the late evenings, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Ghent is a very walkable city and “Rooms With a View” is perfectly located to permit daytime and evening walks along the canals and ancient streets, with very limited car and truck traffic. We also chose to make Ghent our home base to explore Brugge and surrounding areas, which we would do again. Can’t wait to go back.

Well, obviously the VIEWS were amazing! Bie and her staff went out of their way to make our stay unique and special. We were served the best mojitos and the best breakfast on our entire vacation!

The city streets are difficult to navigate in order to get to the destination.

Had the cosiest room you could imagine and the breakfast and service were outstanding!

What a fantastic location and hotel. We received above and beyond service and care from the owners and staff daily. The rooms were perfectly furnished and equipped with everything needed. Breakfast was a delight each day, with top quality and delicious food choices, all seated next to the river Leie, with outstanding views of the old city.

The host, the room and the breakfast were all excellent, nothing could be faulted. The location is very central, overlooking the river, and standing on the balcony places an obligation on you to wave back at the other tourists on passing boats! Some noise at nights from the busy riverside bar on the opposite bank, but not excessive and only to be expected if you choose such a central location. Easily remedied by closing the windows.

Stairs

The 270 degree views from the double aspect rooms are sensational - wonderful to just perch by the window on a long June evening and watch as the light gradually fades and the lights come on. Breakfast was also fabulous with a range of granola/fruit/cheese/ham/ smoked salmon/croissants/breads/fruit/eggs that made lunch redundant. Service was excellent too. There are only 3 rooms, all with the same views, but rooms 1 and 2 have more windows.

Personally, neither of these bothered us, but some may find the large number of people sitting and talking by the water late into the night and the early morning on fine / warm days a bit noisy. Also the stairs up to the rooms are fine for the sure footed, but could be harder for those with mobility or balance weaknesses.

The view from room is very gorgeous! Staffs are so friendly. Although there was no elevator, staff helped us to carry our big luggages upstairs.

perfect flawless spot in the center of Gent

The hotel is small and beautiful and right in the medieval part of ghent. The owner was wonderful and very accommodating. Room did indeed have a view. Very close to central ghent. Breakfast was lavish and very delicious. The best hotel we have stayed in in a long time. Our special thanks to the owner.

The stairs were a small problem but it was made up for by the beautiful room.

Bea met us by the parking garage showed us our room & had provided wine beer water tea & coffee in our room - she was super friendly & helpful - lovely family run hotel wish we had had more time to eat in their restaurant next door lovely to sit on the terrace & enjoy a drink incredible view day & particularly at night over the canals

Breakfast was outstanding!Bie is a fantastic host and the complimentary red wine made our stay very special.Dinner was also excellent.

Some people might not like the steps up to the room ,but the view and comfort of the room is the reward.

Location close to the centre of Ghent and availability of secure parking near the property. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed with lovely views. Complimentary soft and alcoholic drinks was also a nice touch and appreciated. Freshly prepared breakfast with good choice of options served in the attached restaurant which was also a lovely setting. Bie is a friendly, helpful and accommodating host who made us feel very welcome.

The stairs to the room are steep and may not be suitable for everyone but they are also part of the charm of the building.
