Great location for Sheffield city centre. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour before standard time.

We booked a suite, which was listed as being in excess of 800sqft, this was definitely not the case. The room also says it comes with a view - again, not the case. The bathroom was a bit cramped and the overhead shower was broken / did not stay put, which meant overall experience not brilliant.

The location is fantastic to explore Sheffield. The restaurant and bar are nice spaces, and the pizza was amazing. The local area is great for food and drink choices. Staff where helpful and friendly. The bed is huge and super comfy, a nice size for a standard room.

The room wasn't as clean as it could have been on the bathroom floor, fluff on the window sill, the furniture and decor was looking tired and in need of a refurb.

My second stay at the Leopold, and it will be my choice of hotel on my next trip to Sheffield too. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff and we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was totally unexpected and made our stay even more special.

Staff were friendly, brilliant service, and the hotel was clean. Good quality buffet breakfast (if a tad pricey). Great location.

Struggled to get comfortable with the pillows in bed, and the stairs in our mezzanine suite were very creaky.

We had a nice large room in the basement area. Quiet and well-equipped. The Staff were excellent particularly Adam.

One of the most expensive hotels I have stayed in and breakfast was not included.

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

The room was very cold on the first two nights, as it was cold out and the heating did not work well. No matter what temperature it was set to, by us or the person we spoke to at reception, it never reached above 19.5 degrees, and it took quite a while to reach that temperature. As it was the weekend and the room was overlooking the square, it was quite noisy at night until about 2AM.

Probably one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. Everything about the hotel was fantastic, the staff, the room, breakfast. Would definitely stay here again
