What an amazing place to stay and an even better host in Gary. The breakfast was the best myself and wife have Ever had at any B&B. We cannot wait until the next visit later this year.

Lovely place and great host

Gary is a great host. Accom. was super clean and had everything I needed. It is a typical traditional guesthouse. The breakfasts were very good and Gary was adaptable to my requests. I felt very comfortable staying there alone.

Repetitive music over breakfast, a change each day would be nice .;-)

Warm welcome from Gary who was very friendly and helpful throughout. Comfy bed and good shower.Tea and coffee making facility. Gary provided an on road parking scratch card for free. Breakfast was very good. Proper Heinz ketchup and HP bottles not those nasty plastic sachets.Very nice bread for toast and the butter packets were thawed so you could actually spread it. All in all it was an excellent stay and the price to quality and service ratio is exceptional.

Gary was an excellent host who prepared an excellent breakfast and kept the property spotlessly clean.

The rooms are so clean. The bed is really comfy. I like lots of pillows and I got six big ones 😀 the brekkies are awesome but the best thing about the dolphin is the owner Garry. His customer service skills and attention to detail is outstanding. The room was cleaned each day with fresh towels, biccies, bed made. Etc. The service here is second to none and such value fir money. Highly highly highly recommend the dolphin.

I liked everything about the Dolphin. Breakfast was superb service second to none my room and facilities were first class. An ideal location for getting out and about nothing was too much trouble for proprietor Gary.😀

The Dolphin was very clean and the room was extremely comfortable, with very nice decor and lots of very good little touches, like the chocolate and the bathroom essentials. The breakfast was excellent and Gary was a very good host. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk from the town centre. I would definitely recommend staying here, and if I’m ever in Scarborough again I will stay here.

Great location. Gary was a wonderful friendly host . The guest house was a pleasant surprise very clean . Breakfast was excellent and well served. Would 100% recommend this place for a break.

Breakfast was excellent rooms were cosy and gary the host made us feel very welcome, he is a lovely pleasent man who cant do enough for you we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this guesthouse and we look forward to visiting again in the near future .

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed them everyday. Lots of choice in cereal

The breakfast was very good, plenty of cereals to choose from. 3 choices of soft drinks with tea or coffee and an excellent traditional breakfast. The location was near Peasholm Park which was a big plus. Gary was helpful at all times and pointed me towards some of the public gardens that were worth visiting.

I have no complaints, very happy with my stay.
