Very flexible with our arrival and the room rwas ready early. Extremely accommodating staff, helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely show round on arrival and help offered to carry our bags. We made full use of the spa and treatments, which are wonderful, clean, quiet, and well maintained. Our room was luxurious, with a massive bed! Really lovely bathroom and plenty of space in the room to sit and enjoy the peace. Dinner in the restaurant was perfect! Great choice of veggie options and generous portions. Breakfast was equally lovely. We felt extremely spoilt and considered at all points of the stay. It was an added bonus to be able to use the spa for a few hours after check out, which added to the relaxation of the weekend. Thank you!

We loved everything! A very small point would be to know the price of the evening meal menu, we may have missed this but were a little unclear whether there was a set price for the whole meal or a price for courses. We didn't order a starter but afterwards wondered if it was already included in the price. We stayed B+B and noted there was an allowance for this in a package, but no clarity on price otherwise. Everything else just perfect x

The menu didn't change at all (except for chef's specials which changed a little) and would be repetitive if staying longer than about four days.

Helpful and courteous staff. The building is very old but clean and well maintained. Location is very central to the town.

Service could be a touch slow when busy but the staff were clearly doing their best.

Really friendly greeting. Made to feel welcome. Room upgrade which was an unexpected treat. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Spa was lovely, clean and great products. Delicious dinner and good service.

The tables weren't set up ready for breakfast when we arrived. It wasn't explained to us that there was cereal, orange juice etc in the room next door. We noticed on our way out. It was a tasty cooked breakfast though
