Location was perfect. Breakfast on the top floor with fantastic views of Auckland was lovely.

Rooms and facilities were clean and tidy, reception staff were lovely, and location was excellent.

we contacted the hotel to ask about valet parking as we were from out of town and travelling by car. they said it was on a first in first serves. we arrived as early as we could but the parking outside the hotel was coned off. we didn't know where to go with our car so parked just behind the cones and ended up with a ticket. however after I contacted the hotel and advised them of what happened they offered to pay for the parking ticket which was awesome. just letting me know how to access the entrance with a vehicle could have been helpful and avoided that

The private wifi for the room didn't work. I had to get someone to come and set me up on public wifi. I had to log in to my work system and didn't want to use insecure public wifi

Poor parking facilities - parking is additional payment even though we are hotel guests; the use of the valet upon arrival was not clear - no signs on where to drop the car, and because of an event that day we had to give 15 - 20 mins notice for car pick-up. Overall, overpriced for the quality of the hotel and services

our room was made up as a double bed when we had booked a twin room. They made us go back to reception and I thought they would change our room but we were asked to sit on couch for 15 mins and then returned to our room. the room was half made with beds not made. so we then proceeded to sit out of why while two beds were made. The whole check in and procession took about 45 mins. We never got offered anything for the inconvenience, which I felt was poor, mistakes happen I know but you would expect when you are paying a good amount for a room they would go out of their way to make sure guests are not put out by there mistakes.

felt a little bit like rabbit warren getting to room from lift. Charged $50 bond and told refunded when return key cards on checkout. No refund (kids dropped off cards) so I expected it would happen later on the day. I rang the next day and told it would be 3-5 working days for the $50 to be refunded. Go figure!!! ?????
