Staff here are amazing

There are a lot of stairs, and the hotel is on top of a hill.

The atmosphere was fantastic. We had an upgraded room and the view took our breath away. The amenities were great. I especially loved the wood burning fireplace in the lobby

If I’m going to be really critical (because I thought it was great), it is a little older but still wonderfully cared for. Cardio equipment in the gym didn’t work but weights, hot tub and sauna were great

Very handy to town without being to noisy.

Tap in bathroom was not working properly water on floor.

Bathrooms are old fashion and very tiny. I didn’t like bath tubs. Shower cubical would have been better.

there is a parking space outside each unit but the parking is first come first served. You may not get the park outside your own unit. Bathroom was very small

The staff were lovely and accomodating, for the value of the property the location is great but be aware of the hills. The room service was delicious and prompt.

There was contraction going on next door, which there was no mention of by staff or when booking. Very loud and could literally hear and see the workers a few feet away sitting on the back porch. Not a very relaxing atmosphere. Location wise, it’s okay. Be aware for those of a lower fitness level or older side, it’s a very steep hill from the main street. Don’t be fooled by google maps. Minimal views that I could see from any of the heartland suites, the scenic hotel rooms on the same property have much better views it seems. Cleanliness was pretty poor, sometimes when staying in dated/older motels cleanliness is what really keeps the place together and feeling tidy. However the duvets were all stained. Towels had some suspicious stains as well. Though the bathroom was clean at a glance the shower curtain was wet/unchanged when I arrived and there was visible mould on the bathroom caulk and lining.

The location was very handy for town (shops, restaurants and cafes). The room was a good size with a comfy bed and balcony with a view. We had a very warm welcome from the young English lady in reception.

Was an ideal location

Was not as clean as one would expect. Could use a bit of a spruce up. Room wasn't exactly cleaned properly. Left a lot to be desired for the price that was paid as we spent more than what we would for what we thoight would be an amazing stay.

Close to town. You can just walk and leave your car.

Parking was quite hard especially if you return back late.

The broken door, bug in the bed, the awful stiff mattress, the constant breeze in the room despite all windows being shut.

Nette Unterkunft etwas außerhalb des Zentrums. Haben den kleinen Garten sehr genossen.

Möbel und Fassade im Außenbereich sollten besser gereinigt werden. Parken ist sehr eng.

Beautiful views

The location was convenient for the centre of town and surprisingly quiet. The room was fairly large and the breakfast was good with a varied selection.

The room, particularly the bathroom, was in need of an update. The washbasin was chipped, the edging strip around the bath damaged and the shower was lukewarm.

Large room, comply bed, excellent location, we could walk into town.

Carpet and bathroom were very tired looking. We were right on the road with constant noise. Awful! :(

Staff were amazing. It was our anniversary and they made such an amazing effort and made the day feel special.
