the only benefit is the location it’s located at the heart of Cairo which is nice and the reception staff were nice in interactions

1- Regarding the rooms please be careful most rooms are really old and the tiles and bathes are stained we were lucky to get one of the few renovated rooms 2- Nothing was clean the cleaning service was not even average the towels were always stained with all sorts of stuff, the floors were never cleaned properly using the same soiled mop to just quickly move on the ground not actually cleaning, and bedding’s were rarely changed also amenities were always scarce 3- beds were not comfortable to say the least we were a range of ages all of which had our backs in pain 4- the lobby is just a couple of old coaches covered in dust and dirt in a low lighting place we just went to different lobbies in the morning in near by hotels 5- the pool was always dirty 6- honestly this place needs to be just properly cleaned and some care with renovations that match what they are marketing it felt like it was a motel at best and not a well maintained one too that’s it the location is great but that’s it 7- it was an honest surprise that this place was listed the way it is at booking

I loved the location of the hotel as it was in the middle of everything and located next to the Nile river.

The hotel furniture and design was old. The breakfast could have been better, but the staff are helpful. The hotel cleanliness is not that great, they need to work on that. The WiFi was not that strong. Upon on that the manager needs to take people’s opinion more serious as we told him we will write a bad review and he didn’t care about that!

The bathrooms are bit outdated

Big, sweet great of you staff is friendly and supportive. Location is amazing especially if you plan to walk to Neil Cornish. All attractive places nearby has a kitchen washing machine.

The hotel furnished along time ago and mini area that need to be improved for an instant; bath heater is working only in the master bedroom, Water collects in the middle of the bathroom and does not go to the drain, making it like a lake and difficult to use again, breakfast is average doesn’t worth it, there is no proper lobby to sit or to drink some coffee and to spend some time, pillows are old need to be replaced.

The staff were amazing and friendly and very attentive, especially Ahmed the gentleman who works at the breakfast buffet, very kind talkative and approachable. He made out stay lovely and he is a wonderful employee who goes above and beyond. I accidentally left my phone when we left to go to the airport and it was handed in by the staff so I felt the team were very honest and trust worthy and the lady who works on the guest relations desk, not sure what her name was but helped arrange our transportation for us to the airport when our uber let us down. Hotel is safe and secure due to security at entrance and car park entrance.

The hotel is great but rooms could probably do with a little update or makeover, slightly dated but still it was lovely and value for money, I would stay again.

Excellent and very respectful staff, especially the reception and housekeeping. Rooms are clean and appliances are well maintained. Overall an excellent stay.

The rooms are a little expensive and could use a little refurbishment as some elements are getting on in age and beginning to degrade, nothing that affects the quality of the stay, but for the price, they could replace some door and window handles that are too rusted to close without the lock, and a few paintings with cracked glass.

The restaurant and pool staff were friendly and helpful.

When we arrived, the room we got was not what was advertised. It was dirty, especially the carpets and bathroom. This was on level 15. We later found out that these were the older rooms that haven’t been refurbished. we had to pay an extra $500 to stay in a refurbished room - these are on floors 28-31. So we were miss-sold the room basically.

The breakfast was nice and lots provided however, the breakfast room is dated and tables were not cleaned even though there was hardly anyone eating. It was not busy at all. The staff were friendly and attentive

The hotel is outdated. It does not look like the photots at all. It needs complete modernisation. The first room we were given when we arrived smelled of cigarettes, everything was dirty and dated. The bathroom was horrible. We were told this was an upgraded suite. We requested to change the room and was given one which did not smell of cigarettes, but the bathroom smelled of urine. My bed had hair on the duvet. Everything looks filthy. When we complained they came and sprayed air freshner and left. We asked about cleaning and he did not understand.

Everything was perfect,. It was spacious apartment that can easily cover 4-5 people.

Everything was nice. Except they should mention that its an apartment with one or two rooms and a study room clearly on the booking.com so people can book accordingly.

The second apartment we got after we complained & paid more was amazing.

The first room we got was dirty and very old. it was advertised as “Imperial suite” but the only imperial thing about it was how old it was. We complained and after we paid a fee they gave us a much much better room. Apparently that room wasn’t advertised online. It was like going from a 1-star hotel to a 4-star one.
