Room was less than expected. Bars behind the sliding door were dirty. The sliding door was not opening. Below average staff service.

The telephone call need improve

It was very clean and had selection of food.

I booked it through bookings.com and I am a gold member for Marriott but because it hasn’t been booked directly with them, the service was poor.

To start with, the staff were great, we were greeted warmly and assisted pretty quickly. The hotel lobby was pristine. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of bottled water. The pool bar was very good, reasonable prices and decent beer in a relaxing setting, the staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we need anything. Surrounding bars and restaurants on hotel grounds were all of very good quality in terms of food quality, ambiance, and beer selection.

So the hotel is relatively old and the outside of it shows this a little, compared to newer, taller and fancier buildings nearby. Inside the hotel room, this has translated to slightly older TV which didn't seem to support Netflix or have any connectivity with my phone and the light switches and utility sockets felt a little outdated and one light switch was a little bit loose. My main gripe was with the bathroom. The bathroom looked great, however, the shower set-up wasn't the best. To elaborate; the shower is set in the bathtub with a stationary glass screen to prevent water bouncing into the room. The shower itself is fine, I prefer the glass screen to a shower curtain for example and actually the shower gels, shampoos etc were great, however, the glass screen is no longer fit for purpose. Water seemed to find a way to leak out and drop down the side of the bathtub causing massive mess on the floor which the floor towel was not sufficient for. I'm told these screens are due for an upgrade in the near future and as I do plan to return in future, as I loved it so much, it will be interesting to see the future improvements.

THE POOL AND THE GYM

Le buffet du petit-déjeuner comme les buffets du déjeuner et dîner étaient très complets, copieux et variés mais surtout très bon et pour tous les goûts. Magnifique, on s'est régalé ! Le personnel était très accueillant et disponible. A ce titre, mention spéciale à Abel (concierge parlant français) qui nous a toujours bien conseillé et beaucoup accompagné dans nos choix de visites. Merci infiniment à lui.

Peut-être l'accès à la baignoire, un peu "périlleux" quand c'est humide (une grand enjambée à faire).

Великолепный отель. Всё на высоком уровне. Отличный пляж, персонал приветливый. Удобное расположение, рядом огромный торговый центр. Отдельно хотел бы отметить тренажерный зал, 5 из 5, есть всё. Интернет очень быстрый, супер.

Первое что сразу заметно, это стройка рядом с отелем. Постоянный шум от нее. Бассейн, он маленький. Ну и в целом территория отеля маленькая. Повезло, что в момент моего проживания было мало людей, но не понимаю, как всех уместить на такой маленькой территории. Попали на ремонты лифтов, работал один и он не справлялся. Дальше мелочи: при принятии душа есть перегородка, но вода всё равно вся на полу и постоянные лужи.

Bellissima struttura, i dipendenti sono stati molto disponibili e molto gentili, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto accogliente. Vorrei ringraziare in particolare Ismail e Ramila, per la loro professionalità e la loro accoglienza. Un ringraziamento anche a Fara per le bellissime escursioni che ci ha organizzato. Un hotel a 5 stelle, sia come struttura, sia per i dipendenti! Grazie

All of the staff here are amazing. Small but cosy and comfortable room, sea view was pretty cool. I'd stay here again.

Only one elevator was working. The price of the coffee in the lobby is ridiculous even for a 5 star hotel.

Staff and location were great.

The Hotel is old. It is one of the oldest Hotels in the UAE. However, it has not been upgraded to meet modern standards. The elevators creek, the carpets look and smell old, and certain rust stains remain visible, especially close to the showers.

Absolutely amazing stuff, great location, facilities, pool and pool bar, tasty restaurants, spacious and comfortable room. Did I mentioned the free upgrade to an Elite room? What not to like?

Maybe the single elevator since the second one was on maintenance, but given the low season it wasn’t a huge problem since hotel was not full of visitors at that time.
