Lovely old building with interesting carefully restored features. Front desk and porter were excellent

Let down by the breakfast. Staff seemed a little unsure eg brought the wrong order of omelette, did not replace empty buffet plates. Expect better at this type of venue and price

Well appointed room but,.......

$475/night plus taxes. Is this a joke? There's no restaurant other than a room for buffet breakfast and nowhere to lounge after a long day for evening ambiance. A HOTEL HAS TWO JOBS: feed me, provide a comfortable sleep. This place has no restaurant. It's also on a busy street so drunkards and garbage trucks can be heard between 2am and 7am, so... fail on both. As for the price, the rooms are somewhat palatial as the photos show but the floor wood was popping up ..doubtful it was just our room as the lobby and hallway rugs are dated if not just 20 years old. Price point should be about $225 in high season, $150 otherwise. My belief is the hotel had it's heyday and is now resting on it's laurels and can due to it's perfect location (at the corner is Café Mozart). I left after two nights due to the above factors and feeling gipped- Plenty of other places to choose from with the above two points fulfilled, and for less!

Perfect location and stuff.

The location was absolutely great! One breath away from St.Stephan church and steps away from the Opera, the location offered various options for walks, sight-seeing, restaurants, shopping. Although it was super central, the room was very quite and cozy (nice view). Very clean and spacious room, comfort bed and splendid pillows, and large bathroom. the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic and in general, I really loved the whole concept of the hotel building. I would definetely stay again at Astoria Trend hotel, no question!
