Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfy beds.

We had booked for three adults but had a room with only 2 chairs at the table. It was a small space for 3 adults.

Heat pump wouldn’t work properly so was quite cold

Location was great, continental breakfast very nice in a cheerful and clean setting, room spotless, bed comfortable

Was a bit noisy as in hearing some noise from other rooms but not so much as to be distressing, heat pump didn't really seem to be generating much powerful heat, there wasn't a guest manual in the room

Breakfast was good, if there was some cooked options it would have been better for the price

It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff, as we expected. It was within walking distance of the central district. It was a reasonable value for our money. It met our expectations.

We didn't like the TV going in the breakfast room. We don't want to listen to ads or any other programme at that time of day. Staff member we asked to turn it off did not smile or say he would do it. However, it was turned off by the staff.

The room was as advertised and was great for a place to stay the evening. We had a late evening and an early checkout but were able to come in as we needed and check out early with the 24hr reception. Ample parking too.

There was a hole in the wall behind the bedside table. The fan in the bathroom was loud and turning off the light did not turn the fan off. When we checked in, there was no record of us staying and I got limited assistance in terms of them offering me alternatives to solve the issue. I had to bring up my booking.com confirmation email and show the front desk and ask them what they were going to do about it as it clearly said my booking was confirmed. Luckily they had a free room same as what we’d ordered. Don’t know what who’d have happened if there was nothing available as we went off the booking.com confirmation our room had been booked. Not the properties fault (they mentioned they’d had previous issues with booking.com not confirming the booking in their system) but I felt like no one was going to assist us with fixing it if there wasn’t a room spare. Kind of got the feeling it was a ‘it’s not our issue’ scenario.

The staff were warm and helpful from the start of our stay to the end. The room was spotless and just what we wanted. Breakfast was an added bonus and delicious. Nice touch that the gym next door can be used for $6.

If I had to find something it would be the muffins at breakfast.

Complimentary breakfast was a plus. Place was quiet. Room clean but basic. A bit dated.

No shower gel just a small bar of soap. Had shampoo and conditioner. Need to add shower gel.

Very quite, clean & comfortable hotel central to the city & nearby restaurants. The continental breakfast was a bonus we weren’t expecting & it was very nice. Friendly staff & would highly recommend.
