The staff were across the board friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate, well-maintained and really large. The landscaping and design of the hotel was exceptionally beautiful. I loved the parrots and macaw in their cages, the koi ponds, the black swan, and the lizards and iguanas around the property.

Chichi thé African Grey was very friendly and is the best.

Location was perfect. Grounds beautifully kept. Pools just amazing.

A little pricey. Wrist band didn’t always work on elevator. No happy hour at pool bar.

The staff from the from front desk to housekeeping to the food service areas all went above and beyond to make me and my friend feel welcome. The people of Aruba are some of the kindest and welcoming I have ever experienced in the Caribbean. The room was spacious for two people making for an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property is actually on Palm Beach not Eagle Beach which is short drive nearby. The beach is lovely, maybe a a few too many boats around making the water a little murky, but again the staff, service, and facilities on the beach and at the pools were outstanding. Renting a car was easy and helpful to get to other parts of the island (San Nicolas, Baby Beach).

this is truly the best property I’ve ever stayed at. If you book this place you will not be disappointed. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are immaculate. And the beach, pool and refreshments are top notch.

A tad pricey

was not priced correctly for the quality of the property. staff was really not helpful and the menu for food was completely unacceptable.

We were sick and unable to come. I called the resort and was told to talk to booking.com. I called and emailed twice them and they told me to call the hotel. I did and they referred me back in circles. I have yet to receive any credit or communication at all.

The location was perfect. Everything is close by. Great beach. Loved the palapas! If there was any problem, the front desk and concierge were on top of it and fixed it right away. There was a mix-up with a taxi not picking us up for horseback riding. (Service provided by the Ponderosa stables.) The Hyatt's concierge called them and made them pay for our taxi. Much appreciated. Loved the hidden jacuzzi. Used it numerous times. Loved Chi Chi, the parrot. He always had us laughing. We visited him every day. And, of course, the iguanas and lizards and black swan.

The food at The Palms and the Ruinas needed improvement. When we went for breakfast, not the buffet, at Ruinas, we couldn't find any staff to order from and be seated. Then the waitress had an attitude. The coffee was horrendous. The room could have had a balcony you could sit out on. We couldn't even fit a chair out there. Also it would be nice to have an option of a washer and dryer somewhere on the premises. We tried drying our bathing suits on the little clothes line in the tub/shower but our clothes never dried. We kept hitting our heads on the hanging wicker lamp. It wouldn't pull up or down and did not have a switch to turn it on and off. If the table and chairs were taken out, there would have been more room for us. It looked too cramped in that corner. It would have been nice to have a pad of paper/stationery and pen in the room. I am glad I thought ahead and brought those things as I needed to write things down. Also a map would have been nice. The music at night was very loud and did not stop until 1 AM.

gym needs updating- should have better equipment with ability to plug in and watch TV; need more free weights. towel reservation process is ridiculous- nearly impossible to reserve pool chairs and we were told we couldn’t reserve 6, only 4 or 8 (why can’t you move two chairs to make a 6? )

The location, layout and amenities were really nice! Friendly staff and a very family friendly resort. I recommend if you have kids as there is a pool and waterslide. Perfect for expecting mothers too. The beach is the highlight and remember to reserve a spot on the beach.

The dining options were limited and the lunch items were overpriced. Brunch style breakfast was excellent!
