Location - an easy stroll to the old town through the lovely Jardin Vinay. Free hotel car park. Excellent wi-fi. Good breakfast options and good value restaurant for lunch or evening meal

The view from the room across the car park to a block of flats close by was disappointing, (our balcony was superfluous) and some, but traffic noise when window open, but not enough to really disturb.

We loved the size of the room and the balcony with pleasant views. It’s was dog friendly. Car parking ( but quite small for 30 rooms if all occupied). Close to shops and restaurants. Very convenient.

The shower was poor. Over the bath, difficult to operate and no grab handle. Very dangerous. WiFi was non existent everywhere in the hotel. Neither of us could connect. Breakfast was quite good but because there was only one member of staff doing everything (Reception, telephone and restocking breakfast) it was very inefficient. The fruit salad was replenished as we left the dining room after we had asked for it when we arrived. I felt sorry for the girl but it was not a cheap hotel and should do better.

Rooms look very tired, need refurbishment - no USB points for example. Bathroom need the ventilation sorting out, remained damp for too long. Did not provide evening meal service on a Saturday night.

Everything was fine, good room. Fantastic location, Le Puy is a fascinating place and we wish we had more time there. Could park motorcycle off the road in the car park.

Lack of air conditioning was a shame. There’s was nothing bad but it all felt a little lack lustre.

Typical city-hotel nearby the center, parking area directly at the hotel. Hosts very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast, room large and modern equipped with balcony directly to the road, but in the evening / night not too loud, even with open window.

The location was ideal for seeing the town, and the receptionist was very helpful.

The room was exceptionally hot for a summer stay, as there was no air conditioning, and the fan that was provided was so noisy there was no question of leaving it on at night.

Stayed here as part of a cycling tour. Left my bike in the Foyer. No problems occurred but would have preferred a place a bit more out of sight.

Excellent to have generous breakfast brought to our room each morning. Friendly staff. Most sites of interest in Le Puy just a short and very pleasant walk away. Huge bed! Good sized parking area - easy to park (not always true with hotel car parks!). A very nice stay, we would go again. I am told tv option good with canal+ but we don’t use tv much while on holiday!

We requested a room with a balcony but probably wouldn’t if we went back, the balcony just overlooked the road, which is noisy, so not especially pleasant to spend time on. Perhaps more a benefit to smokers, which we are not! Shower unit with curtain not my favourite style, but nothing wrong with it, it worked fine.

Large clean room, clean bathroom. Well located with free parking.

No air conditioning, so with 30+ degrees it isn’t very comfortable; they provide a fan, which helps some.
